Lovely home with a supermarket close by and 20 min walk to the train station. Plenty of space for our family of 5 and dog, gorgeous living area with a small garden and great kitchen. Easy contact to hosts for any questions. One small thing, the stairs are very steep, especially to the third floor, which was okay for us but maybe not for others.

In a word— perfection. The place was beautiful and immaculate. Maaike and Mark were responsive, friendly, and very helpful. Maaike’s prints are beautiful and we went home with some to share with our friends. What a find!

Max was super responsive to our texts from day one. Great host!!!! Our stay was great with the kitchen having everything we needed for breakfast and late night snacks and more ... the cute balcony rooftop off the kitchen a bonus. Ambiance is amazing from the second we walked in! Beds were comfortable also and 25 min walking distance to train station. Would return again! Thankyou

Hello, we had a warm welcome when we arrived, and Anita waited for us, because we were a little late at arriving. Very kindly to us. We are 3 older couples and we felt us immediately at home. Everything was there what we need for our stay. The most time we cooked in the good kitchen, wonderful to eat in the nice living room. The neighborhood is very silence, the northsee is 5 km away, haarlem 2,3 km. We really enjoyed our stay. Rainer

Overveen is a great location for getting around to different locations. The place was awesome and Taco was super helpful. Would stay there again in a heartbeat. We had a family of 6 and there was a tonne of room. Road his bikes to the beaches and to F1. Soooo great!!! Thank you Taco.

This house was a gem of a find! We loved staying right on the water (and despite the cold, our son loved swimming), having access to the boat (which we took to dinner one night!), and just the peace and relaxation of watching the water and boats go by. You feel like you’re in the middle of no where, and yet we were a very short drive to all that we wanted to do - Keukenhof, Zaanse Schans, Amsterdam, and even the coast! We walked to get coffee in the mornings and enjoyed the walk and the town. We also love that it’s dog friendly! We changed our minds last minute and didn’t take our dog along, but we were wishing we had. He would’ve loved the canal and boat!

We enjoyed our vacation at Kim‘s home very much. We had enough space and all rooms are beautiful furnished. The little garden was also a nice place to sit and relax after a day at the beach or a walk through beautiful city of Haarlem.

The accommodation is very good, the neighborhood is nice. The owner is attentive and immediately responds to requests. I would particularly recommend this place.

We had a very successful weekend with our family (grandfather, grandmother, children and grandchildren) in this accommodation. Plenty of space indoors and also the garden had several terraces and play accommodations. Well sheltered. A big plus of course for the indoor swimming pool. In short: recommended!

We went on vacation with the family for a week and we were very comfortable with Huibert. A very nice, large house, tastefully furnished and with a cozy garden and enough space for 7 people. It is located in a quiet and friendly neighborhood. All shops for everyday needs are quickly and easily accessible. A large supermarket and bakery are only 5 minutes away by car. The communication with Huibert was very pleasant. All important information about the house and area was well described on an information sheet. We were very happy about the welcome gifts! We highly recommend Huibert's place!

The houseboat was great and you couldn’t ask for a better host. Grace was very responsive whenever we had a question and was very understanding when a little mishap occurred. Hope to be back some day!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay! The house is exactly as shown in the photos – spotless, spacious, and incredibly comfortable. The surroundings are calm and peaceful, making it the perfect place to relax. Near the center (the public transportation is a 5 minute walk away) The host was fantastic: very kind, super communicative, and always available if we needed anything. Everything was clearly explained, and he made sure we had access to all the amenities. This place is truly a hidden gem – the quality you get for the price is outstanding. Excellent stay for 2 families. The garden with the view of the lake just magical. Very quiet. In the middle of nature and still close to shops and restaurants. Thanks for the loan of the bikes and boat. It was awesome to get around on the water. The area is beautiful and within reasonable distance of different cities to visit . Floris is a thoughtful host (Easter decor, welcome gifts...) and responded during the day to our messages. The house was very spacious and very clean. Authentic charm of an old farmhouse. We felt very comfortable in the garden house. It is nicely furnished and in good weather, the garden use is a dream. Only downside: the open toilet and shower in the bedroom and the missing sink in the bathroom. It takes some getting used to.

We spent a wonderful family Christmas in this beautiful home in a really lovely neighbourhood. The house was spotless and very well equipped. Pamela was always on hand to answer any questions and provided very comprehensive instructions. The Christmas tree being there made it feel really homely. The location was great with easy access to Haarlem and Amsterdam as well as the beach. We would return for sure!

Ideal place to explore Haarlem, the dunes and Amsterdam with children. Very child-friendly and an Airbnb as Airbnb was meant to be at the time. We felt at home and were able to unwind as a family after strenuous days. There is also a very affectionate cat.

very nice place, tastefully arranged, with all the amenities. we had a lovely stay. I recommend this place. the view of the lake and the sunsets make it an idyllic place. only small downside the noise of planes which are quite numerous.

This is the best air bnb we have stayed in. The house was impeccable - clean, comfortable and we felt completely at home. This is a family home but there was no clutter or anything else that would make you feel you were impinging on someone’s personal items. The area is fab - close to the beach, which we visited, and 2 mins to the train station for trains to central Amsterdam in 15 mins. There is a local bakery, butcher, lovely ice cream shop and big supermarket 2 mins walk away. It is 5 mins on the train to Haarlem which is huge - lots of small boutique shops and chain shops. The area is lovely - really safe and quiet. Jan-Kees is the most amazing host. He is so responsive - we set up a what’s app and he always replied instantly. He had so many tips for where to eat and where to go. We will be back to visit those places we missed. The children loved the cat and the chickens! Thank you Jan-Kees and family for all your help and for allowing us to stay in your wonderful home ☺️
