Apartment holiday rentals in Gualdo Cattaneo

My wife's comment a few minutes after check-in: "This is the cleanest apartment on Airbnb ever." On site, Marcos' parents, who live in the main house on the property, took care of us: totally likeable, hospitable, helpful. We arrived at night and the two of them waited for us in front of the house at a late hour. Prior to that, quick, hassle-free communication with Marco in English to coordinate the arrival. The apartment is very spacious, pi-co-bel-lo (!), cozy, functional, fully equipped. The blinds ensure a pleasantly cool indoor climate despite the June heat. Parking on the property, dishwasher, washing machine. Wifi was fast enough to stream the Nations League. The apartment is "countryside" and was all around perfect for two people like us, who set off from here on their Umbrian city tours and on the mountain tour to Monte Vettore.

Roberto is an excellent host. He accompanies you quietly and discreetly throughout the stay and is always available for questions. The equipment of the kitchen exceeds all expectations and prepares you for a nice start and stay. Gladly again and highly recommended.

Great peaceful location on Umbria's hills. Short drive from several points of interest in the region. Good infrastructure for families with small children, if you are looking for some peaceful and quiet place, also seems to be a great place for destination weddings. Marco was very helpful with directions and information of nearby towns. Highly recommended.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this charming apartment in Spello, Umbria. The location was ideal – nestled within the historic town, full of character, peace, and beauty. The apartment itself was spotless, well-equipped, and full of authentic Umbrian charm. Every detail had been thoughtfully arranged to make us feel comfortable and at home. What truly made our stay exceptional was our host, Ferruccio. From the moment we booked, he was attentive, warm, and welcoming. He went out of his way to ensure we had everything we needed, offering excellent recommendations for local restaurants, attractions, and even helping us navigate the area like a local. His hospitality made us feel not just like guests, but truly cared for. If you’re planning a visit to Umbria, we can’t recommend this apartment – and Ferruccio as a host – highly enough. It was a memorable experience, and we hope to return again soon!

We loved our stay at this apartment! It is walkable to the local historic downtown area and just a quick drive to Assisi. Maria Francesca is such a warm and welcoming host and she was very responsive as well. We would love to return one day!

Great location to explore the surrounding villages. With magnificent views over the valley with Assisi, Spello, Trevi and many other places in the background. The apartment is very nicely divided and furnished and a really pleasant rest to relax after the excursions. If we stay in Umbria again, it will certainly be our accommodation again.

Accommodation was very clean and comfortable. Spello is a lovely place to stay if you would like to explore Umbria. Sonora was very friendly easy to communicate with and gave us great suggestions of where to eat in Spello. I would recommend to family and friends

Daniela was a perfect host providing great ingormation and answering all our questions. Nazareno our onsite host was equally accomodating and was available at all times to answer questions offer advice and became more like a friend, along with his cannine friend Kira. We would highly recommend Borgo Monte Lagello to anyone looking for a peaceful location in Umbria with amazing views and all the aminities you could wish for, in close proximity to numerous attractions in Umbria.

We spent a couple of weeks in this beautiful apartment a stone's throw away from stunning Todi. Franco, the very friendly owner, has transformed his childhood home tastefully into a spacious, cosy and immaculate guest house. The use of traditional Umbrian materials, the comfy beds, the chimney give the place a warm atmosphere which immediately makes you feel at home. We spent a lot of time in the large garden with picturesque views across the hilly landscape around Todi. The house is just below a provincial street which thankfully isn't very busy. It's a great base to explore large parts of Umbria, from Orvieto and Perugia to Trevi and Spoleto. Franco went out of his way to make our stay worthwhile - and he very much succeeded.

Agnese was wonderful to work with and we loved the Assisi area! We would definitely come back!

House Uliviu was a great accommodation, spacious and clean. When we needed something, we were immediately helped. The location was ideal to visit the most beautiful sights, Todi, Orvieto, Perugia... From the cottage, you have beautiful cycling and hiking routes. Supermarket in Marsciano nearby. What makes the house so attractive is the beautiful and large swimming pool with a beautiful view over the valley and hills. You will find complete peace here. We met the whole family, sympathetic and warm. Interesting also to listen to their stories. Tommaso's grandparents live on site, which is what an active grandmother says. I stayed in this little house one night. What can I say, the owners are super friendly and always available for anything! The house is super clean, tidy and very cozy (which is not obvious). There's no shortage of comfort, I almost felt like I was at home. I find the location optimal, I was first in Perugia and the next day in Spoleto, both very close to Marsciano. I will definitely be back to continue visiting this beautiful region that is Umbria on weekends.

Simone and Cinzia are 2 wonderful people who are always ready to intervene in case of need. Wonderful place complete with everything and stocked with lots of products . Highly recommended !!

Stayed here 6 days and used as a base to see Florence, Sienna, Pienza, vineyards. Amazing. Returning to this apartment felt like home. Comfortable. Montepulciano was perfect. The view from this apartment is like a painting, as good if not better than the photos. Parking #6 was close and was manageable. The decor is eclectic but feels authentic...not too refined like many Airbnb's....just very comfortable. Very spacious. Easy for a family or three couples. Highly recommend! I would certainly rent this apartment again without hesitation. Great value.

We felt super pampered, beautiful suite, furnished in a refined way,complete with every comfort,steam room and jacuzzi were the icing on the cake... The staff is present and available,the breakfast is fantastic,wide choice and everything is delicious! We'll definitely be back!

Had a super 8 night stay here. Paola, the host, is everything you can hope for from an Airbnb host. Super communicative, welcoming and helpful. Her and her husband helped me with a medical issue, which was so kind and appreciated. Wow! Just wow! The apartment is quiet and I slept good at night. It has every amenity that I needed. It is clean and in a safe location. They really put love and attention into this place and it shows. Highly recommended.

We had an amazing stay at Alessandro’s and Sonja’s place. They helped a lot with very good recommendations for local restaurants and things to see and do around. The apartment was very clean and cute, even though it was quite moist probably due to lower temperatures in May. For the summer months we can imagine it it is very cooling and perfect for sleeping. We can highly recommend the Castello and would always come back ☺️

Our family loved staying in Fernanda’s apartment! My husband and I had visited Montepulciano two years ago, stayed at Fernanda’s place and loved it so much we came back with our three boys. Fabrizio was an amazing host! We made a spontaneous choice to stay in Perugia after our friend’s wedding in Tuscany and the magic continued. The location was central and a blissful walk to the city centre which is full of history and beauty. Coming back to Fabrizio’s place made our stay even better. A very modern design, good energy making it easy to relax, cook and enjoy. We highly recommend and we’ll be coming back on our next visit. Thank you!

We had the most wonderful time at Marina's. The home is really special, with a beautiful history...we felt right at home. Every room has a beautiful view of the surrounding hills. It was a very special holiday for us, our first with our six month old, and Marina made it particularly beautiful and memorable. We really hope to come back again.
