We stayed with 3 adults and two toddlers and the space was completely sufficient. There was also enough board game material available on rainy days and the children still got a lot of painting utensils from Marieke. The kids were very happy about that. Outside in the garden it was very idyllic and in the summer it was certainly nice to sit outside by the pond comfortably in the evening. The house was very clean and the kitchen was well equipped. we lacked nothing. The communication with Marieke was great. She was always very accessible and proactively suggested activities. All around a very successful week :) Thank you very much for that.

There were four of us there in June – despite the rain and colder temperatures, we were able to enjoy our stay thanks to the sauna and the heated pool, which was our highlight! We were very warmly welcomed, the accommodation is really great – we can only recommend it and will definitely come back. The adjacent forest is great for walking and Groningen and Leeuwarden are each just under 30 minutes away by car.

This is a beautiful airbnb in a forested location; peaceful and quiet. There is ample seating outside to enjoy the natural surroundings. It’s a very charming place to stay; we loved it!

The dune house is a wonderful place to spend a relaxing time on Ameland. Located directly on the dunes, you can experience the nature of the island in all its facets. The house is tastefully decorated and has everything you need for a relaxed stay. Geertje is a great host and communication with her was very pleasant. We will be happy to come back and can absolutely recommend a stay dune house!

We had a very nice stay as a family in the very spacious house. The large living room was particularly nice, the kitchen offers everything you need. Jaap was very helpful, gave us tips and was very flexible with a late check-out. The area is wonderfully quiet and idyllic.

We enjoyed the time very much and did many small bike rides. The accommodation is beautiful, quiet and very idyllically located. However, we would not stay in the property again with 5 adults. The loft bed is more suitable for children and unfortunately we were not able to sleep so well, as there was no air coming up under the roof at night (despite the open window) and it became very warm and stuffy. With children, you can definitely recommend the accommodation! :)

We had two beautiful days at the house. It is quiet. There are also two supermarkets in the village. There is a lot to do in the region. The house also invites you to linger. Both saunas were really great. We'll be sure to recommend

Nice holiday home! We were there with 5 adults and had a very nice weekend. The house is large enough for 5 people. There are 3 large bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Nicely decorated and equipped with every comfort. Very quiet area with views of the meadows. You can sit outside at a large table. Two cars fit in the driveway.

Very nice location and a beautiful spacious house. It is only a short walk to the nearest sailboat rental and the view from the house was great! Glad the kitchen was complete with herbs and oil. Communication with host was quick and efficient. Definitely worth the repetition!

The hostess was very accessible and pleasant. and tried to answer quickly. And the property was like in the pictures. And the view towards the park was amazing. I enjoyed it to the fullest. Thank you so much for everything. We loved staying with you.

Had a great time. We had beautiful weather, but the hot tub was still nice, especially for the kids. Close to the water and a lot to do nearby for those looking for.

We were there with five adults and a toddler and had a great time! We happened to be in a holiday home in the same park, which was also beautifully located, but the cabin in the woods is really a highlight: The forest is directly adjacent to the garden, so that you not only have a lot of privacy but the atmosphere directly provides pure relaxation (view from the hot tub and sauna directly into the forest). The furnishings were modern and well thought out. The bathroom and the open-plan living and dining area were further highlights. The landlords responded quickly to questions. We would definitely come back!

We enjoyed our stay and had a fantastic time in Midwolde. It was easy to start our bike tours from here. The sauna and all other amenities were outstanding! A very tasteful intererior design. The beds were so comfortable, we really enjoyed our stay!

The house is simply magnificent and quiet with its location directly on the canal! You can watch ships all day or get active yourself. We had our bikes with us and took beautiful trips directly on the canal. A trip by kayak, which is available there, in the direction of Wanswerd is also highly recommended. The house is very clean and well maintained. Everything you need is available in the kitchen. Clear recommendation!

We felt very comfortable! Particularly positive to highlight: Hotze got us bicycles and brought them to the accommodation and picked them up again! Also a small treat (juice, snacks, chocolate) on arrival made us feel comfortable immediately! Great view from the terrace, everything very clean! We will be happy to come back!

We had a wonderful week. The house has all the comforts, including a very nice kitchen. The sun in the front garden was also nice, where we could have had a quiet breakfast. The location is nice and quiet, so we were really able to sleep very well. In the area we enjoyed the nature, the tranquility and the friendly people. The reception was warm and personal, even our dog Bettie received a warm welcome. All in all recommended, we will definitely come back there. Finally, I would also like to mention Dokkum, a very nice town with special shops and good restaurants. Thank you Coen and Anne (and Marianne) for this beautiful, nice week. We had a great week at Geert's accommodation. The location is great for bike tours in the area. In general, this area is definitely worth a trip. The accommodation is fantastically beautiful on a small lake. Everything is clean and well maintained. Very stylishly furnished and super clean. Geert is very friendly and helpful. A very stylish and tasteful old schoolhouse, equipped with everything you need. Very nice large kitchen, very well equipped. The area is quiet yet very well connected. In good weather, you can sit very nicely in the courtyard.

We recommend the place without restrictions! It all matches the information and we felt very comfortable. The ambiance in the apartment is certainly one of the reasons. Also, all the details are thought of to have a relaxed stay. Michiel is a very accommodating host. We will be happy to come back!

We had a great time in this beautiful house right on the water! The location is simply fantastic – you can look directly at the water from every room. The house is very modern, stylish and designed with great attention to detail. The kitchen has a lot of kitchen appliances and spices. In general, nothing was missing in the furnishings. A small note for those with a pollen allergy: there is a lot of nature in the area, which is wonderful - but it is advisable to have allergy medication with you if you are sensitive. We would come back anytime and can absolutely recommend the house!
