Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Großheide

We had a very nice, relaxing stay at this idyllic place to stay. The house is surrounded by a magnificent garden with many blooming trees and shrubs in a very quiet environment. Very friendly hostess and an easy-going dog. We also enjoyed the sauna, which can be booked optionally.

This was an absolut great place for four persons to stay! Clean, very well equipped kitchen and bathrooms, nice and thoughtfully decorated. We felt at home. The apartment is located some ten steps from the main streets , and for being such a small town there were an extensive selection of nice restaurants and shops. We made excursions several days, and it is much to see and do in the surroindings of Esens. We didn't meet Imke in person, but had contact through texts messages and telephone. Imke was caring and wanted to know that we were having a good time. Highly recommended!

A nice cozy little house in the middle of the forest, you are surrounded by nature and trees. Absolute peace and privacy, no possibility of looking into the property from the outside. We were a little early, but we were able to get to know Johan personally, a very polite and hospitable person. The location is unbeatable. You can walk to Norg in 22 minutes. There are a variety of restaurants with outdoor areas, cafes and shops such as a drugstore and supermarket. Also sights such as old windmills. Absolute recommendation!!! Thank you Johan!

Very quiet location, a bit remote, no footpaths. Spacious rooms with good amenities and a huge garden. Ideal for families with children and dogs. Everything is clean and maintained. Easy, flexible check-in. The host is always available. Absolutely recommended.

Extremely quiet location, unfortunately relatively bad to start with the bikes, as there is no bike path in the immediate vicinity. The check-in and communication were excellent and very pleasant. The Huuske is totally cozy, for a weekend trip with 2 adults, 2 children and dog completely sufficient. All in all, the price/performance ratio is perfectly okay. There was nothing missing from the amenities.

Nadine's apartment invites you to feel good. Furnished with great attention to detail and equipped with everything necessary, we were able to spend some quiet days by the North Sea. The apartment is very clean, modern and comfortable. We will be happy to come back!

Jan's beach house is really beautiful. The view from the bed to the lake at dawn alone is wonderful. But also a barbecue on the terrace, while the kids were digging in the private beach, was fantastic and a reason why we will come back. Jan always responded quickly and was very friendly. We felt very comfortable. Thanks for the thanks for this experience :)

This place was really nice. The apartment is both well located and superbly furnished, we felt very comfortable. The kitchen is superbly equipped, we didn't miss anything to cook well there. A nice touch was that there was even a dog pillow and food and drink bowls with treats!

The apartment is super nice and spotlessly clean – it has everything you need. The quiet location not only invites you to relax, but is also perfect for a stay with dogs. The contact with Anja was extremely friendly and helpful. Absolutely recommended!

Beautiful and cozy place to stay! We felt completely comfortable. For noise-sensitive dogs, the scare gun on one of the neighboring fields might be challenging, but our dog quickly got along with it.

Very nice apartment, right on the harbor. Everything is in walking distance. A parking space is right outside the door. The service has been very good, in arrangements such as an additional crib and also upon arrival. We felt very comfortable here and would come back any time.

Linda and Stephan's place was the ideal getaway for our family with young children. From the moment we arrived, we felt at home in their beautiful, welcoming space. The garden was a true highlight, offering a peaceful retreat with plenty of room for the kids to play and explore safely. The toys and books provided kept our little ones entertained for hours, making it a stress-free experience for us. The kitchen was fantastic—spacious and fully equipped with everything we needed, including a professional coffee apparatus that made mornings a real treat. The hosts, Linda and Stephan, were incredibly attentive and thoughtful, ensuring our stay was comfortable and memorable. Beautiful old villa, generous space, nicely furnished apartment. Loved it. From there you could start some activities. Whether on foot, by bus (bus stop just a stone's throw away) or by private car. The folder prepared by Heino with the description of the history of the house, the possibilities for things to do in the area or even the tips on recommended restaurants was very helpful. We also had fantastic weather during the week, which rounded off the stay even more.

We had a lovely week with our two children (5 and 8 years) in the cottage on the Schildmeer. We were able to swim almost every day and otherwise explored the surroundings (Groningen, Appingedam, Delfzijl). The amenities are better than indicated: there is toilet paper, hand soap, hand and tea towels and a large selection of cooking utensils and spices in the kitchen. There is no oven, but a microwave where we prepared our casserole. We had a good time and say thank you very much!

The Reethaus is beautiful and decorated with a lot of love. The sleeping alcove directly under the roof is super cozy, we felt very comfortable. Everything you need is available in the apartment. Christopher is very warm and attentive. Thank you for the wonderful time, pure relaxation!
