Holiday rentals with beach access in Grays

Me and my family had a lovely time at the beautiful apartment. 5 minute walk from the seaside and surrounded by many shops. The apartment was spotless and felt like a home away from home. Modern kitchen and bathrooms, and had everything you would need for your stay. The host responded as soon as we needed him and was very kind to facilitate our needs.

Visited Leigh On Sea to visit a friend and previous Airbnb was booked up Excellent location near restaurants and shops and secure parking is a massive bonus in Leigh Clean accommodation - ideal for 2 people Loved the Welcome to Leigh In Sea original sign. Good to have the balcony

Just book it right now if it’s available! Frances is the best host I’ve ever dealt with, friendly, responsive, provided excellent guidance and met all our needs with flexibility and care. The flat is in a lovely walkable neighborhood just minutes walk from the train station with a fantastic pub right outside your door. If you can tear yourself away from that view of the Thames, it’s a short train hop to everywhere you want to go, and the showers provide the hottest water at the end of the day and super comfy beds for rest. You can’t ask for more than this cozy flat to start and end your days from. Thank you Frances for sharing your property, we sure hope to be back and wouldn’t dream of staying anywhere else!

Stayed in this lovely loft for a few days on a trip to Southend. Felt very homely and had everything we could have needed. Great that the tv was all set up with the apps and easy to watch all the streaming services, and games and books available if we fancied a night in. Cupboard was stocked with essentials for cooking and the coffee and biscuits were a nice touch. Would definitely recommend and would stay again.

It was very homely and all the furnishing are top quality compared to most other air bnb and we just felt very at home and comfortable. I’ll be staying again when I’m in Leigh on sea

Perfect destination for a long weekend 😀 Super clean, beautifully decorated flat literally 5 mins walk to the sea. Whitstable around a 25 minute flat walk along the coast road with ice cream parlours en route. Owners very helpful and left a lovely selection of treats including wine and a selection of baked goods. Everything thought of including toiletries, charging cables and cushions on the outdoor furniture. High quality of fixtures and fittings throughout. Absolutely loved the enclosed private garden with flowers and chirping sparrows. Close to restaurants, take aways or a nice M&S for eating in. Would recommend to anyone.

Here's a review based on your experience: We had a fantastic stay in this lovely flat near the O2! Check in was super simple. Everything we needed was provided, and the towels and bedding were great. The bed was super comfortable, making for a great night's sleep. The location was perfect, and we loved the nearby pub within walking distance. Highly recommend!

Had an enjoyable three night stay, in a very comfortable 2nd floor flat. Beds, sheets and pillows fabulous. Two large bedrooms with small en-suites. Norman was excellent in responding to any queries we had. On site parking great, near to a bus stop but didn’t use it. We walked into town down a gentle hill, but there is a large car park at the bottom of the hill, if the distance is too far, this is very close to the town. There is noise from the road outside but as long as windows closed not so bad. We live in a very quiet area so probably more noticeable for us. Heater and air con tower in each of rooms . Everything we needed was available. Whitstable lovely, nice shops, harbour nice too as is walk along boardwalk to the old Neptune. Tankerton slopes also lovely.

Thank you Sophie, the house felt like a home. The books, the toys, the rooms, the garden an added bonus for the little people. “but why can’t we stay longer” asked grandchild. Appreciated the earlier check in, and thank you for your flexibility and understanding with our car problems.

We had a great night at the wedge house. It’s a very cool quirky little house. Brilliant location for Adventure Island. Not the hosts fault but the street itself is quite run down and we had to listen to the boy racer cars all evening. But didn’t take away from the stay because us and the kids had a great time. Ria was very helpful as a host and was so kind to put up balloons and banners for us for my daughter’s birthday. I would definitely recommend for a trip to Southend.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Slip Cottage. Great communication from Steve throughout and perfect location for beach, restaurants, etc. Literally just off the main street but still quiet. Lovely touches like providing handwash and bubble bath! Lots of towels and toilet roll also. Highly recommend staying here.

The house, furnishings and equipment exceeded our expectations. We felt right at home. The house is bright, spacious, clean and very tastefully furnished. Parking in the street is no problem. Lots of shops and restaurants in the neighbourhood. We will definitely be back.

Had a great stay at Claire's house. Claire was very helpful & responsive on messages. The location is perfect, walking distance to the village for the cafe's and the beach. The kitchen was well stocked and the outside space was perfect for relaxing in the afternoon and evening. Thanks Claire for a great stay!

A great few days at the Lobster pot, fantastic location and wonderful hosts who were super helpful throughout our stay. Had a lovely time and hope to be back!

The whole family experienced the ‘wow!’ factor upon entering this charming property. The pictures are a true reflection but it goes to show that a real life. 3D version is often so much better. Jamie is incredibly helpful and responsive and treated us to very flexible arrival and check-in times. It’s a very central location, easily walkable to the beach sauna! Highly recommended.

We had a relaxing stay in Julie's cottage, which had everything we needed and a bonus of two bathrooms. The kids enjoyed the toys and the garden. It is really peaceful at night and nearby to the harbour and town so we could walk everywhere and visit the local restaurants and pubs, which were great. Nice lido and playground for children and we recommend taking the harbour ferry to East Mersea. A lovely stay, thankyou.

Stayed at Beth's place while in Whitstable for a wedding at the castle. It was super close to the castle itself, 15 minutes or so to the main shopping streets, and 5 minutes to the beach. The house itself is really clean and has everything you could need and more. It felt very homey and I think it is actually nicer in person than in the photos! Beth was also really responsive and everything was easy and well explained. A really great stay!

This is a lovely flat with everything you could want for a very comfortable stay. David and Lisa are quick to respond to any questions or requests and most accommodating. The flat is clean, charming and convenient to the beach, train station and shops.

Great host and apartment. There is a train station on the other side of the street and is very close to lots of great places.

I am a heavy travellers . I stayed so many places before. Hotels or flats. Aniesha’s flat is like a five star hotel suite! Very modern and stylish. The building is only 1.5years old. Very clean and the location is very convenient just in front of railway station and near supermarket and shopping center. Lots of restaurants nearby. It makes me feel like home. Thank you Aniesha! Aniesha is a very nice host. I already look forward to coming back again! Wish a merry Christmas and Happy new year.

Morgan was very kind in allowing us an early check meaning we could start our mini break sooner. The location was great with easy parking right outside. The flat itself was very clean and charming. Would highly recommend as a place to stay

Chris & Hilary were wonderful hosts, they were very proactive and made sure we had every bit of detail about the property and its surroundings. The property is beautiful and clean and its located within short walking distance from the beach. We also loved the private park garden which was our pull factor to the property. Check-in and checkout process was very easy and straightforward. The Internet speed was great and the bed is very comfy. Me and my wife tried to think of any room for improvement to feedback to the hosts and we struggled to come up with anything. We definitely found our holiday home in Southend-on-Sea and we cant wait to stay there again. Thank you Chris & Hilary!

Amazing last minute stay! Amenities and extras were brilliant, had everything we needed and more. As for the flat itself, it was very spacious, homely and so much natural light.
