Fitness-friendly holiday rentals in Grand Canal

Had a great stay at Albertos. Alexa was there to meet us as soon as we got in touch to say we'd arrived earlier than expected. Apartment was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Beds comfortable. Location was good (on a quiet sidestreet) 30 yards away from No.2 bus (usually quite crowded) that takes you straight into Venice. Pattisserie across the road and a supermarket 5 minute walk away. Some tips during your stay. Ubers are very expensive but also watch out for local taxi drivers. We had one that took us on an extended tour of Mestre. Luckily we had our GPS on and caught him at it. Knocked down his 26 euro fare to 10 when confronted. Make sure you get a price and address of where you are going. Beware of ordering a large beer at some establishments or you might get a very expensive 1 Litre drink. A day trip to Verona is a good option by train (there are cheap fare options during the day). Don't worry about pushing and jostling to get on to Vaperettos. Every else does it.

Hosts were attentive to all our needs. we traveled with my parents and the house offered welcoming accommodations and comfortable space. For each one of us: the moment, welcoming, excellent, great,... super we recommend!

Riccardo was great with communication before check-in, so we knew exactly what to expect. He was welcoming when we arrived, showed us to our room, and even gave us a list of nearby restaurant recommendations, which was super helpful! The Airbnb itself was incredibly spacious—the photos online don’t do it justice. We had everything we needed in the kitchen and bathroom, and more. Having a washing machine, detergent, and an airer was especially handy on our last day. The place was also stocked with thoughtful extras like an iron, ironing board, fan, and spare pillows—nice touches even if we didn’t need them. The location was perfect, with easy transport links to Mestre Station and Venice city centre. If we return to Venice, we’d definitely stay here again. The only minor downside was that the smart TV functions weren’t working, but Riccardo made a real effort to fix it when we mentioned it. It didn’t affect our stay—we managed just fine without it!

Federico’s place was really relaxing and quiet. All the services were next door: shops, restaurants, the beach and public transportation! All our needs were met and more! Beautiful garden and amazing walk to the beach. Lido at its finest!

The reception was very warm, Simone was always available for questions. The location is top, great beach in a few minutes walking distance. The apartment and the facility are very clean . Very great bike paths nearby. Great restaurants with delicious food and also inexpensive in the area. And the crowning glory of the trip to Venice and neighboring islands. We would definitely recommend the apartment.

Very good hospitality from Barbara. Clean and well-equipped apartment. The location is pretty good (close to public transportation). Barbara is very responsive and accommodating. Before we arrived she gave us all the important information we needed to know. I would highly recommend it!

We were hesitant about staying on the Lido at first, worried it would be complicated to get to and from Venice, but it ended up being super nice! The boats were fast, frequent and easy to use, even late at night. Allesandro was a great host, always answering all of our questions and happy to help. The place itself was spacious and clean, just a short walk to the beach and downtown area. We drove to Venice and it was very nice to be able to park right next to the apartment for free in a safe neighborhood.

Lucia was the perfect host, friendly, helpful and efficient. It was our first time in Venice and the apartment is beautiful and centrally located. We couldn’t have asked for more. Looking forwards to our return!

We had a wonderful stay in Mestre & Venice. Thanks to the place we had a nice quiet place that filled up like home. Both bathroom, kitchen and bedroom had top amenities, we didn't miss anything! There were even hygiene items in case you forgot something and also a closet with snacks. Valerio was very accommodating & flexible he responded quickly and reliably to our questions and sent us a top list of restaurants and others in advance, which was very helpful. Thanks for this great place to stay We highly recommend it!

Our visit to Venice was an absolute delight, made the more memorable by staying at this wonderful apartment. It overlooks Canale della Giudecca and whatever the time of day the view is stunning. The apartment is an old family home full of charm and nostalgia….and we loved this home from home feel. Giorgio is the most welcoming of hosts and greeted us in person to settle us in and show us all the amenities available. Would recommend this most Venetian of places!

Fantastic place, made lots of use of the free bicycles to get to and from the beach. Was brilliant!

A great modern apartment in a central location. The beach, restaurants and shops are all on your doorstep however the apartment is very quiet and has a lovely private terrace. Very clean and great amenities plus excellent air conditioning for an August visit. Identical to the pictures. The pool, sauna, steam room and gym are also very clean and make the Star Palace complex an excellent place to stay. A day trip to Venice is very convenient via a private bus pick up point which is 30 seconds from the apartment and then a boat trip from Jesolo, Piazza Faro. Cinzia was very responsive and helpful with the beach club booking advice etc. Lots to recommend.

We had an incredible stay at this Airbnb! The house was absolutely amazing and matched the pictures perfectly. It was extremely clean, and you could tell great care had been taken to make it feel welcoming. Loretta and her husband greeted us so warmly and made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. They truly are the loveliest hosts, even checking on us during the weekend to ensure everything was going smoothly. Their hospitality is rare to find in Airbnbs nowadays. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone and would love to come back again in the future.

Everything was great, the place was nice, comfortable, spacious, well-equipped, and clean. The house and the yard are very nice. Comfortable access to the yard with a car, plenty of parking. Patricia is friendly and helpful, all recommendations for accommodation and hosts. We spent a wonderful time in Lido di Jesolo. A big hello to Patricia. Very clean accommodation and very friendly host, helpful and present if necessary. The house is equipped with every service described and everything works perfectly. The neighborhood is very quiet and in a short time you can reach a lot of interesting things.

Surrounded by greenery and in the beautiful two-story lagoon, well distributed, functional and clean! Parking in front of the entrance of the house. Modern house, recent, clean and well stocked with all the comforts for a vacation. Among the plus are the possibility of using the bicycles provided by the owner. Highly recommended

A nice and spacious apartment! Nice pool! Quietly located, right next to it is a horse farm, which of course the children enjoyed very much. The kitchen is very well equipped, nothing is missing. Silvia and her husband welcomed us very kindly. Unfortunately, we were only there for two nights, due to the location, excursions to Treviso, Bassano or Marostica are possible without problems in a short time. We will be happy to come back!
