My few days at The Lair was like staying at my own home. The place was pristine, with all the amenities you require. The bed was so comfy ! So peaceful too ! I would highly recommend staying here. Thank you Sam for being such a great hostess. Ali

Wonderful location and comfortable, well designed home. A little village out on its own with so much character and some great walks which are medium hard but good distances either way - to the left in the next village the Cricket Inn is delicious food and friendly staff - to the right a lighthouse. The views and beach really make this place… as well as being a close drive to Salcombe and Dartmouth. The house being is well stocked, stylish and comfortable so makes for easy living. We were a family of 7 and a dog and would highly recommend it. We did a Sainsbury’s food delivery to the house twice to make getting groceries easy and that worked perfectly too.

This property’s location is perfect, whether you want to stay on-site and enjoy the vistas of Dartmouth or use it as a base to thoroughly explore the environs. It’s only a short walk into Kingswear, where there is a car or foot ferry to get across to Dartmouth or the steam train which will take you to Paignton. Communication with Mark was thorough during every stage of the booking and stay. The accommodation is divine and we’ve rarely slept so well; a combination of the Savoir bed and serenity within this hillside property. Nothing about the host, property or location could be faulted; exemplary in every aspect.

A delightful secluded residence facing out over farmland. Although there is a farm and there are homes in converted farm buildings close by, you would hardly know they were there; the property has a separate entrance to the main farm that it shares with one other dwelling, which again you would hardly know was there. The property is as described and well equipped. Although the garden is very small, this is not really a problem with so much open countryside on the doorstep. Rich George was very helpful, responding quickly to our queries before arrival and welcoming us warmly with helpful advice when we got there but otherwise leaving us to enjoy our holiday. The climbing roses surrounding the decked area were divine. We can recommend North Sands beach as a paradise for dogs if they like the water; our visit was in early June and, on all but one occasion, we managed to park in one of the four road side parking spaces at the top of the beach (free for 2 hours) rather than pay to use

Ade's place was immaculate and very enjoyable. He was very responsive and left clear instructions so that check in was very easy. Would recommend to anyone looking to stay in Torbay

Serendipity is a lovely house with stunning views. Marks has designed and refurbished his house beautifully and very much with his guests in mind. The downstairs is spacious with a very large table so we as a party of nine could sit all together or in separate groups inside and outside. Well done to Mark. He is a very considerate and welcoming host.

We enjoyed a great week at Nina’s lovely house. It was exactly as described in the listing and Nina was always very responsive.

We stayed here on May bank holiday weekend for the pirate festival. It was a lovely weekend. Keith was great, really responsive to messages. The caravan is in a lovely spot. Great park with lots to do and really good bus access to Brixham for the festival.

The host, Julie, was really helpful and responsive to our messages. Beautiful surroundings and the views from the chalet were incredible. We were visiting old friends and neighbours and it was an excellent base. The walk down into Shaldon along the golf course was convenient and stunning but be prepared for the walk back up!! The chalet had everything we needed and was really nicely decorated with comfy sofas and beds. Wish we were there longer and would love to go back.

This was our first time visiting here and was definitely worth the long journey from Hull. The caravan was great we loved the little touch of the hamper basket on arrival and games and books for our children. Super easy to find and was a great location to the club house. Maxine was very helpful on messages and even recommended some places for us to visit. The site itself was great pool was perfect for the rainy day we had, amusements, evening entertainment there was something for everyone. We will definitely be back again and will be booking Maxine’s fabulous caravan for our future trips. Thank you again

Lovely place to stay. The kids loved eating breakfast on the little balcony.

Great place to stay within easy reach of beaches and attractions. Great for dogs as van dog friendly. Plus fantastic area for dogs to walk or run in enclosed area. Van beautifully clean and tidy. Will probably go back again.

Recently stayed 3 nights at Jody's caravan. We booked this as a base to visit family. The Caravan was really clean and tidy in a great location, with only a 5 minute walk to the onsite swimming pools, and restaurants. The caravan had everything we needed for the weekend, well equipped kitchen and was plenty big enough for 2 adults and 2 teenage children. Great communication and info before arrival. Will definitely be booking this caravan with Jody again.

It was a privilege to stay in this beautiful family home. The location was sublime, peaceful and idyllic. The quirky access was amusing and great to be so close to the Ferry Boat Inn. The house had everything you could wish for and more!

We had a brilliant stay at this listing, perfect for my 2 year old and my dog 🩷 lots of beaches close by and lots to do on site, we loved the swimming. Michaela was great at responding and we would definitely look to book again x

David was an absolute star, from the day we booked the stay, until we departed home. The home itself was exactly as it was described and the view was beautiful. It was comfortable, clean and well equipped with everything we should need. David very kindly left a hamper in the fridge with a few bits to enjoy which was a lovely touch! David went above and beyond, particularly when he messaged us in advance, to let us know that the neighbours would be having emergency roof work done during our stay. He couldn’t have been more apologetic and took photographs, doing his best to show us where the scaffolding may obstruct our sea view (which it didn’t at all, it was still just as beautiful). David was extremely helpful and let us know that we could message him if we needed anything at all, a really lovely and approachable host and so easy to talk to. We really enjoyed our stay at Sea Views and would highly recommend it. We didn’t want to leave. Will definitely be returning! Thank you so much:)

A lovely house to accommodate our family while visiting relatives in Paignton , the house was immaculately clean ( I’ve never seen such a beautiful spotless bathroom) , full of all the amenities you’d ever need and positioned between two beaches and plenty of walks . The attention to detail with all the extras was much appreciated , there’s plenty of lovely towels , hairdryers , spare toiletries , condiments in the kitchen , high chair and even a bucket and spade . Lauren went over and above getting us a fan for the babies room and dropping it off within half an hour of us messaging. We really can’t fault the place and wouldn’t hesitate to return . Thank you Lauren and Jordan for a lovely place to stay .

This property is perfect for staying in Paignton and exploring Torbay. The house was spotless, quiet, well appointed and very comfortable. There are lots of restaurants, pubs and 2 beaches very nearby. It's also dog friendly. Highly recommended!

We really enjoyed our stay at Vicki’s place. It was well furnished with most items needed for a stay away from home. The Airbnb was also conveniently located near by the beach and transport links. We would love to stay here again.

Had a fantastic stay at the villa between christmas and new year. The villa has such space and full of character. It was presented perfectly clean and with everything you could ever need. The owner was very helpful and really easy to communicate with. The villa is well placed for exploring south Devon. Would definately like to stay here again

We had a fabulous stay this week in the Apple hut! Loved everything about it. The views are lovely and the hot tub makes it extra special. Andrew and Elizabeth are great hosts, made us feel very welcome. Will definitely be back again.
