When you arrive, the apartment is ready for you with clean bed linen and towels. 500 meters to a grill, ice cream, and fish shop. 2 km to pizza. 13 km to Djurs Sommerland. The apartment is located at the east end of a beautiful farmhouse from 1874 with large garden and outdoor areas. There is a private entrance and south-facing terrace, as well as a bathroom and kitchen with a fridge - all overlooking the garden. Parking is available in the courtyard around a large old lime tree. The apartment is centrally located towards both city and nature - with only 3 km to fishing and walking at Løgten Strand, and about 20 minutes drive to Aarhus and Mols Bjerge.

If you want to experience Denmark from its beautiful and quiet side, then “Vidkærhøj” is the place for you. The home is part of our property from the 1870s, and was originally an old barn, which we have lovingly restored over the past few years. It is centrally located between Aarhus, Silkeborg and Skanderborg. It is high up here, and if you like, our dog, Aggie, would love to greet you, just as our cats, chickens and rooster are also very curious. We can’t wait to host you 🤗

Nearby attractions include Djurs Sommerland about 10 km away and with a drive of about 30 minutes you will find Randers Rainforest, Scandinavian Animal Park, the frigate Jylland, Kattegat Center and Ree Park.
