Monthly Rentals in Gittisham

1. Great accommodation. 2. Great location. Close to the wedding venue we attended and for visits to places we like, with our love of countryside and beach. We were also able to shop at stores we didn’t have at home.

I couldn’t resist coming back for another night at this beautiful cottage and it was just as lovely as I remembered. The peaceful, private setting and stunning countryside views make it such a special retreat. This time, I enjoyed a cosy evening with a bottle of wine in front of the wood burner, which made it even more perfect. The breakfast provisions and honesty bar are still such thoughtful touches. Even though it was just a short stay again, it was incredibly relaxing. Can’t wait to return!

Clare and Chris’ accommodation is beautiful. The setting is exceptional. I booked it hoping we’d have peace and this is exactly what got, with an outstanding view, whether inside or out. Clare and Chris are the most thoughtful of hosts. You won’t need to ask for anything, but if you do, they will respond and no doubt make something possible. Large spotless wet room, comfy bed (with a view) with luxurious linen, a heated floor throughout, a large TV, (which. you probably won’t watch because you’ll be looking at the view!), every thoughtful facility to prepare a meal if you want to (we did, because why go out when you have such a beautiful space to spend time). I can’t list everything but if it says it has it in the listing, it has it. We spent lots of time on the steamer chairs and eating outside. Clare provided a complementary including breakfast of homemade bread, fresh out of the oven and home-made butter. Just book it - you won’t be disappointed! We will return!

We had a wonderful 2 month stay while between homes, to our extended family (8 of us and 2 dogs) it really was a well equipped and comfortable home. Pippa was a wonderful host and quick to respond if we needed any help or advice. Local amenities, train, restaurants/ food outlets and a beatiful walk through the glen were all close by. Altogether a great place to be and highly recommended.
