You walk straight in from street level, and to a quiet part of the building. When you enter the apartment, you look straight down and out over the sea! On either side are the bedrooms, completely sheltered from sound from the street. Large bathroom on the same floor. Down a half staircase and you find yourself in a voluminous room with windows disposed from floor - to the ceiling which is 4 meters up! Beautiful kitchen, nice dining area with a view, and a really cozy TV nook can be found down there. And exit to private porch hanging just above the sea.

Nostalgia

A charming 19th century house with a good atmosphere. The property is beautifully situated by the sea overlooking Ålesund and the Sunnmøre Alps. Only 15 mins with a car from Ålesund city and the nearest airport, but is still a place that gives peace of mind. Outside the garden there are cultivated fields with grazing animals in late summer. The island of Giske itself is a gem with a medieval marble church, beaches, untouched nature and birdlife. The island once housed Norway's most powerful noble family, the Arnungs and is mentioned in the Snorre saga.

Apartment in the heart of Aalesund

The apartment is a penthouse apartment located on the 2nd floor of Kirkegata 4 which is in the heart of Ålesund city centre. The courtyard is one of the city's many Art Nouveau style houses built right after the 1904 city fire. The apartment consists of 3 rooms, which is a small corridor with a simple kitchen solution, a double bedroom and also the possibility of an extra bed, and last but not least a brand new bathroom with shower, etc. We are available as needed, and meet the guest upon arrival or provide code to allow them to enter.

The caravan is idyllically located with a good view. 10 minutes by car from Ålesund city center, 13-16 minutes by bus. Free parking. 1/2 minute walk to the fjord where sea-lovers can rent a rowboat by appointment. Within walking distance you have Atlanterhavsparken, Tueneset with beach, trails, gaps and fire pit as well as bunkers from World War II. You can walk up to Sugarloaf from here. Welcome to OAH-1870, the oldest surviving house in Ålesund’s city center – a charming cultural treasure built in 1870. This unique home withstood the devastating fire of 1904, preserving not only its original character but also a true piece of local history. Just metres from the town centre, but very quiet at the end of a narrow road, with amazing fjord and mountain views! Your parking space is in front of our house, and you go down an exterior staircase to your entrance. The entry has a big wardrobe. Next is the modern and fully equipped kitchen. The bathroom has a shower and washer dryer combo. Down the hallway is a bedroom with a 150x200cm bed and a big closet, and a living room with a sofa bed that pulls out to 140x200cm and a crib. Welcome!

Relaxing place on Godøya

Welcome to our house on Gudøya Island. You will have the ground floor with two bedrooms, a large bathroom and a beautiful terrace with view to the sea and mountains. The living room has a kitchenette for cooking. Unfortunately, there is no sink there, but the sink and a dishwasher are in the laundry room. You can also use bicycles. Please note that the entrance is shared. For all details, please look carefully at the photos and plan. We really hope you will enjoy your stay at our place.

My place is good for couples, solo travelers, business travelers. Can also fit a small family. (Extra mattresses). We can also assist with transport to/from the airport on Saturday afternoon/evening.
