Nostalgia

A charming house from the 1800s with a great atmosphere. The property is beautifully located by the lake overlooking Ålesund and Sunnmørsalpene. Only 15 min by car from Ålesund city and the nearest airport, but is still a place that gives peace of mind. Outside the garden there is cultivated land with grazing animals in late summer. The island of Giske itself is a gem with a marble church from the Middle Ages, beaches, untouched nature and bird life. The island was once home to Norway's most powerful noble family, the Arnungs, and is mentioned in the Snorre saga.

The apartment is located in the middle of Ålesund, only a 7-minute walk from beautiful Brosundet and 2 minutes from Ålesund Church and bus stop - where the buses run frequently. The apartment is located on the ground floor with its own entrance right from the street – simple and practical without stairs or long corridors. The apartment is fully equipped with everything for kitchen and cooking, fridge with freezer, a comfortable double bed (150x200 cm) with duvet, pillow and bed linen, bathroom with shower and toilet, washing machine and drying rack.

NOTE: The storage room has electricity, but not running water or a toilet. Guests can use shower and toilet in the main house which is 30 m away. The bathroom in the main house is for the exclusive use of you, the guests, and access to the rest of the main house is restricted. There are 5 litres of water available in the fridge. Nice beatiful studio 30sqm in the 1 floor in my old private town house built in 1905. Walking distance to the famous Ålesund City center with its jugend style arcitekture and the viewpoint Aksla. A must for all tourists. 3 min with the bus to the harbour and city center. 10 minutes walk to the seaside where you could take a swim at the beach or go for fishing. Bus stop just outside the house. Fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher. Washing machine and dryer in the basement. Close to the NTNU.

Just metres from the town centre, but very quiet at the end of a narrow road, with amazing fjord and mountain views! Your parking space is in front of our house, and you go down an exterior staircase to your entrance. The entry has a big wardrobe. Next is the modern and fully equipped kitchen. The bathroom has a shower and washer dryer combo. Down the hallway is a bedroom with a 150x200cm bed and a big closet, and a living room with a sofa bed that pulls out to 140x200cm and a crib. Welcome!

A master bedroom is visible through an open door, featuring a spacious bed dressed in soft linens. Natural light fills the room, with greenery accentuating the decor. A pendant light hangs overhead, contributing to a calm and inviting ambiance.

Old Town flat, in historical center of Ålesund

Welcome to my flat in the historical art nouveau center of Ålesund. The house was built in 1906 and has big windows ensuring plenty of natural light and view on some of the most beautiful buildings in Ålesund. Bedroom facing quiet backside. Right next to house you find nice restaurants , cafes and a famous wine-bar. There is a public free of charge parking 24/7 aprox 10 minutes walk from flat .

Cozy Art Nouveau top apartment with amazing views in the middle of Ålesund city center. Elevator to the 4th floor and stairs up to the 5th. Bedroom with double bed, tiled bathroom with shower and washing machine/dryer. Large nice kitchen with dining table. Velux window that can be opened to a small mini-balcony. View of the pedestrian street, Brosundet and Fjellstua.
