Apartment holiday rentals in Giske Municipality

We recently stayed 4 nights in this lovely penthouse apartment. Was everything we had hoped for and was as described. In a quiet historic art nouveau street just one street back from the quayside. A modern apartment in a lovely historic building with architectural features. We dined at the Tandoori Indian restaurant next door twice ($$$) and at the XL Diner ($$$$$) by the quayside and had a great experience at both. The apartment is up 3 flights of stairs but they are very wide & sturdy and gave us no problem with luggage, Wifi (100Mbps) was great. Would love to stay there again. A lovely apartment, right on the water with incredible views. The art work in the apartment was really great- lots of Norwegian artists, like a mini museum. Easy walk to the city center. Kiwi Market for groceries was close by. There's an excellent Indian restaurant, Rasoi Ålesund, nearby that we really enjoyed. We enjoyed our stay here and recommend it for your time in Ålesund.

Kornelia's apartment was ideal for our 2 nights in Alesund. It was exactly as described and in a superb location. Would not hesitate to come again and can highly recommend it.

We had a great stay here, the apartment is huge, very clean and pretty central in Ålesund. We also appreciated the parking spot in front of the house and that there’s a supermarket right around the corner.

We really enjoyed our stay in this lovely apartment which is well- furnished and well- equipped and in a perfect location. The hosts went to a lot of trouble to make it a great stay, with special touches like a scent diffuser (which smells amazing), nice soap and some tea, coffee and spices, etc available for use. We didn’t cook but it’s a lovely kitchen for those who want to. Everything in Alesund is within an easy walk and the nearby shopping centre is very good. The park (that is very close to the building) has a lovely walking and running route and access to the viewpoint. We would have liked to stay longer as we didn’t have time to visit the viewpoint with rainy weather. An added bonus is that the airport bus stops close to the flat which made arriving and leaving easy for us.

Excellent well equipped apartment on the ground floor in a great location. Everything within easy walking distance including two supermarkets about 200 m away. Hosts were fine with us storing our bikes in the apartment. Had Netflix access and some welcoming snacks and drink. A bit expensive compared to other similar apartments we have stayed in but probably reflects Alesund higher prices. Also, we were also able to checkout a little later as we were catching the Hurtigruten that evening.

Great apartment, consistent with the description. The kitchen was very well equipped. Everything was very clean. The owner was quick to contact, very helpful. Great location, quiet, close to the marina. A nice walk to the center. We greet the Owner and say see you soon.

VERY HYGGE The little house was so cosy and well appointed with extra amenities and attention to detail. The hosts - a sweet young family who live upstairs are very welcoming and helpful. The location really is perfect. Island hopping to spectacular nature reserves and landmarks and easy to visit art nouveau Ålesund which is possibly the prettiest little town in Norway. We drove to the Atlantic Ocean road and hiked Briksdalsbreen glacier. Both just a few hours driving. Thank you Stine and Jon And family for a very special few days in Vestland. We would love to visit again one day.

Modern apartment in fantastic location. Camilla has a great sense of humor and her local recommendations are perfect. Including magic sunset. We need to stay here again. Alesund is unmatched. Just make sure that you go up 400 something steps to see it.

Clear check-in instructions, the place was clean and with a comfortable bed. Great location just a short walk away from town and with a supermarket nearby.

Our stay at this Airbnb was absolutely fantastic! The host truly thought of everything to make our visit comfortable and enjoyable. There were plenty of towels provided, a lovely welcome basket to greet us, and thoughtful amenities that made us feel right at home. The outdoor gas fireplace was a perfect spot to relax in the evenings, and the jacuzzi was exceptionally clean and comfortable, providing a great way to unwind. We were especially impressed by the charging station for our electric car, which was incredibly convenient. Overall, we couldn’t be happier with our stay. Everything exceeded our expectations, and we are very satisfied. Highly recommend!

Very nice place in a fantastic location. Only 18 min to the beach and 12 min to the beach ski center. Can recommend this place good price.

Fantastic place with short distance to nice hikes and the possibility to rent a boat nearby for those who want to fish. The house was much bigger than we expected and the children appreciated all the toys that were there! Cozy host like black fort. We would gladly came back!

We are very happy with our stay. You should probably have your own car here if you are going to stay a lot in the city, but it is also not far from a bus stop. Nice and spacious apartment in quiet and peaceful surroundings, not too far from the city, and right near the sugar summit.

We were warmly welcomed by Ronny and his family and felt very comfortable. The apartment is simple and clean. We were allowed to spend 5 great and relaxing days here.

A cozy place, and Ole Bjørn made us feel right at home.
