Centrally located in the middle of the island and yet off the beaten track - surrounded by forest and meadows, you can enjoy your vacation on our beautiful island of Rügen. The apartment is located on our equestrian farm, about 2 km from the mountains. There is no public transport connection from us - a vehicle is therefore absolutely recommended! It is 5 minutes by car to shopping and about 20 minutes to the beaches and hotspots of the island. Please check the map before booking to see where the town hall is located.

In the villa Heimathafen, luxury meets the pure nature of the Great Jasmund Bodden. Located in the northwest of the island of Rügen in Trent – district of Vaschvitz – the holiday home built in 2017 is embedded in the well-kept Seepark residence Rügen. Surrounded by the nature reserve of the "Vorpommersche Boddenlandschaft" National Park, you will spend your vacation on a 3,300 m2 (8.1 acre) property, 300 m (984 ft) away from the shallow coastal waters of the Baltic Sea, the Bodden.

The bungalow is lovingly furnished and has one bedroom, a summer kitchen on the terrace and a fireplace. In the garden there is a fireplace for cozy evenings. The port city of Stralsund and the island of Rügen are easily accessible. An ideal starting point for exploring the Baltic Sea.

From here, the island can be explored in all directions. Our Landkate has a modern-clear ambiance, furnished in a mixture of Nordic design, vintage furniture and Grandma Elisabeth's kitchen buffet. Through large windows you can look from all sides into the wide sky and at meadows and forests.

The apartment "Steernkieker" is located in an outbuilding on a spacious, private garden property with a pond. Relax on your sun terrace or start to Mecklenburg – Western Pomerania's most popular attractions. The historic old town of Stralsund (UNESCO World Heritage Site) is about 10 km away. In the immediate vicinity are the islands of Rügen and Hiddensee as well as the Fischland-Darß-Zingst peninsula with its long white sandy beaches.

Our two identical holiday cottages are located in a separate building next to our main house, each with its own private entrance – quiet and private. The sauna is right next to the natural swimming pond and can be used freely, with towels and bathrobes included. The pond is perfect for cooling off after the sauna. Centrally yet peacefully located, directly by the Small Jasmund Bodden and next to a large nature reserve.

Cozy vacation cottages on Rügen

We rent our cozy, stylish vacation home in the quiet west of Rügen. Our daughter calls it "Familienkate Schwalbenflug" [Swallow Flight Family Cottage], and that fits. There are 4 bedrooms available for adults and children. The house was thoroughly renovated by 2020, has a modern kitchen and two beautiful shower rooms, a sitting area with fireplace and a terrace overlooking the riding stable and horse paddock.

The apartment is located directly in the second row, only 50 m away from the longest fine sandy Baltic Sea beach in Rügen. Stroll along the promenade of Juliusruh or spend a day on the beach. Watch the numerous water sports enthusiasts conquer the waves or be active yourself while surfing, beach hiking or building a sand castle. A riding stable is close by. Many interesting excursion destinations are only a few kilometers away, such as the island of Hiddensee. Beaches and restaurants are within easy reach.
