Due to the location, there is a lot of privacy. You can also bake your own pizza in the brick oven!! "Gastenverblijf De Hucht" itself is 87 m2 and equipped with all the necessary luxury. There is a living-dining area with TV and complete kitchen. Furthermore, 3 cozy bedrooms and a separate bathroom with toilet.

From the window of the upper floor of the renovated barn, which is located next to our farm, you have a view of the Cabauwse mill, and if you are lucky the stork will be brooding across the street. Aan de Kaai is in (Cabauw/Lopik), on the border of the provinces of Utrecht and Zuid Holland. In the middle of the Groene Hart of the Utrecht Waarden and the Krimpenerwaard.

In the garden, the work studio of the former resident has been transformed into a lovely guest house. Architecture according to the Bosscheschool. Wij zijn Chris en Ans. In 2023 zijn wij begonnen met het bouwen van een kleine B&B in onze achtertuin. Deze achtertuin bevindt zich op 15 fietsminuten van het prachtige ‘s-Hertogenbosch met zijn historische centrum. Een lang gekoesterde wens is hiermee in vervulling gegaan. The house is full of comforts and offers views of the water. With no less than five terraces, including two cozy verandas, one with a wood-burning stove, there is always a place to relax. The bathroom has a lovely rain shower. On the ground floor, you will find a spacious bedroom with a king-size bed and a single bed. On the first floor is a double bed in a separate open space. The large lawn is perfect for a game of soccer or badminton!

Rural location, peace, space and alpacas

In the guesthouse you immediately feel the relaxing atmosphere. Through the use of natural materials and the view of the garden and the animals, you can really experience the countryside. Outside, you can encounter all kinds of animals, like a hare or a pheasant. And of course the chickens and the alpacas. On the lounge set you see from the guesthouse, you can relax. You walk right into the meadow to get to know the alpacas up close.
