“Stayed at the Firefly and it was everything we expected and then some! Great, secluded location with as much privacy as you desire. So many outdoor activites to do or you can just relax at the treehouse or sit by the creek. A very relaxing getaway! Hosts are professional and kind.”

“For anyone considering on booking, you will not be disappointed in your choice. They have everything you could ask for and more. We visited with an 11 year old, and 4 year old. Not only were David and Janet warm and welcoming to my children, they were happy to help us with anything we needed. The sleeping arrangements were wonderful. There is plenty of room, and the place is extremely clean. Everything was so clean; you could smell the fresh laundry detergent on the linens and towels. We cooked 3 meals a day here by using their wonderful black stone gas griddle. The hosts were ever so generous to offer us plenty of farm fresh eggs as well. This Airbnb is truly a hidden gem! I can’t wait to come back and visit again!”
Ultimate mountain retreat to get away from it all. Wanna a unique lodging experience in a natural setting? star-gazers? Our mountain top location of Lookout Mountain has many faces to show. Our yurts are surrounded by the mountains trees, and with colorful scenery, you would feel autumn dancing in the mountain breeze. In winter and spring, the beautiful vistas of the Chattanooga valley provide total serenity. During summer, you would find yourself tucked away in a peaceful forest.
“One of the reasons we chose to stay in this location was all the positive reviews. About that I will only add that we were just as pleased as everyone else about the location, cleanliness, check in, etc. One thing new I do have to add is that we traveled during the coronavirus mess. My husband is a physician and extremely cautious, but we discussed it and after reading Rodney‘s descriptions of his cleaning regimen felt that it would be OK to stay here. You can stay in this location without having any contact with another human as it is separated from the main house and the other yurt by plenty of space and there is self check in. We brought cleaning supplies but actually felt that the place was so clean that we did not wind up using them. We are mainly self isolating but had made these reservations well in advance before there was a problem. Although we could have gotten a refund I am so glad we didn’t. Two of the days we were there were beautiful but one day it poured rain and was stormy all day. I don’t think there is a better location to sit and watch a good old fashion rainstorm. If you need to get away during this time of social distancing, you can’t do better than Rodney‘s yurt.”
