Apartment is centrally located, cheap, was clean. Everything you need. Parking nearby. It was quiet at night. Communication via AirB&B and WA worked well. Glad to do it again.

A Perfect Nature Retreat – Highly Recommended! Our stay here was absolutely wonderful—one of the best ways to unwind in the midst of serene nature. Our son especially loved playing with the chickens and feeding them, which made the experience even more memorable. Agnes and her family were incredibly warm and welcoming. They even invited us to join their Easter fire in the garden, a special touch that made our stay truly unique. Agnes also prepared a delicious breakfast, including some yummy treats for our little one, which we greatly appreciated. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway surrounded by beautiful landscapes, we highly recommend staying here for at least two days to fully immerse yourself in the tranquil beauty of the place. It’s an ideal escape for families, couples, or anyone seeking a refreshing break in nature. We’ll definitely be back!!

By car, very good location to do everything in the direction of, for example, Zwolle, Deventer, Sallandse Heuvelrug and Veluwezoom. Friendly people above all, and you'll learn more about natural life.

Great area! Quiet and peaceful. Walkable to Leidsche Rijn train/bus station short ride to Utrecht City Center. The home is very functional and plenty of space with modern amenities. Beautiful sunroom and outdoor area. I would book another visit next time I’m in town.

We really enjoyed staying here. We're not big-city people, but wanted to explore Haarlem and Amsterdam, and this was a good base for it. Truly out in the country, surrounded by fields and canals. Very private, lots of space. Only downsides are that it definitely does require a car (not a problem for us), the strange toilet situation (one sink upstairs, one toilet/sink downstairs, and another room downstairs with shower), and the steep stairs to get up to all the bedrooms. Would definitely stay again.

Extremely quiet residential area and in line with our expectations, especially logistical, with respect to our vacation plan. Adequate proximity services are available. Recommended experience!

We enjoyed our stay in Mateern’s place it worked perfectly for us because it is not in a big city but at the same time you can drive to many places or just stay and relax in the area. They were very nice and helpful with everything. We had a great experience over all

Charming house able to accommodate a large family. It is very well located 5 min walk from a train station serving Amsterdam. We enjoyed the garden as well as the game cabinet that allowed us to spend beautiful evenings. Tijn is very friendly and responds quickly. We will definitely take over this house for a future trip to Amsterdam.

A fantastic temporary home – absolutely recommended! Lucas’ house is furnished with a lot of love for detail and really offers everything you could want for a relaxing stay. The amenities are high quality, the kitchen perfectly furnished, the outdoor area very welcoming – and the cinema in the basement is just amazing! Especially great: The possibility to charge the electric car directly on site – super convenient. Lucas was available at all times, explained everything clearly and responded very quickly to messages. We felt completely comfortable and will definitely be happy to come back.
