Old monastery - first row by the sea - fireplace and sauna

The old nave "monastery" was built as the 8th house built in Ording and used to be a pastorate, school and poor house. It's been freshly restored. The house may be nice, but the location is even better. 150 m from the official beach entrance, the best beach section and fish rolls and yet quite quiet. Just before St. Peter Ording, in the middle of the small town of Garding, stands the MELKMANNS. It used to be a milk and grocery store – its owner drove across the country and delivered milk. Today, the sales room is the living room, the laundry room is a wellness bath. The colorful mix of vintage, industrial and functional furniture makes the MELKMANNS truly unique. Tating is great for example, as a starting point for beautiful bike rides to SPO and on Eiderstedt or beautiful walks. All districts of SPO are about the same distance away. The apartment is located in a separate part of the building, which was built in 1998 to a listed main house. Price starts at €45/night in the low season.

This special accommodation has everything you need for a relaxing stay in the climatic spa, with its stone age park, in the heart of Dithmarschen. The house, with about 140 m2 of living space and an antique fireplace, is available for guests for their own use. From here, you can take many excursions to the North Sea (Büsum 30 and Speichererkoog in Meldorf 20 minutes by car, ...).
