Our primary motivation for choosing Gunnar's cabin was to be within walking distance of my cousin's house, but we really couldn't have chosen better from a variety of perspectives... ...first of all, the cabin is absolutely first class - comfortable, nicely and tastefully furnished, and well-equipped, both inside and outside. The kitchen had everything needed for cooking and eating, with plenty of storage space for bought-in supplies. It felt like home from the outset. The south facing veranda caught the sun all day, had very comfortable seating and large, mobile parasol for shade. Secondly, it is a superb base for touring northern Bohuslän. We had deliberately chosen off-season, so many eateries and other facilities had closed or moved to winter hours, but the landscape and coast of course remain as beautiful as ever and less crowded than in the summer. Thirdly, Gunnar is an excellent and helpful host and quick to answer any questions. A highly recommended home from home.

I had a wonderful stay at Bianca’s place! The home was incredibly cute and cozy—perfect for a relaxing getaway. Bianca and Detlef were warm and welcoming host, making me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. The location is absolutely stunning, with a charming environment and beautiful scenery, and it’s just a short walk to the sea. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend!

Exceptional! Let's start with the place: the place is fabulous, the view took your breath away, we preferred to stay at the place rather than going into town to enjoy the view and calm! The accommodation itself is small but very well appointed and convenient, and clean. Thanks to Kerstin and Anders for their hospitality, we know where to come back in Western Sweden.
