Bungalow holiday rentals in Galmpton

Fantastic. 3 min walk to dog friendly beach. Is a bit far to anywhere to walk to eat other than Venus Cafe if you have your 87 year old mum with you but house is so gorgeous you could happily stay in and enjoy the view from the dining table.

My son stayed at the holiday place with his support staff. They said the place was very nice and there was lots to do with lovely walks, restaurant nearby, Pub with live music. I would book this place again.

Susan &shaun great hosts the caravan was beautifull everything you needed was there great locations plenty entertainment for children visited some lovely beaches not far from site all in all a great stay would recommend it would definitely stay again😄

We had a wonderful stay at Treetops! The view from the house is breathtaking. Waking up to that every morning was amazing! We were there for NYE and watched an incredible firework display whilst chilling in the hot tub, a moment we’ll never forget! Overall we had a great time here and hope to visit again soon perhaps in the spring/summer.

Dave's Bungalowis a real home from home. Very bright clean and welcoming. There are lovely views out of both the lounge and kitchen windows and easy access to the developing garden. We found lots of walks especially along the Exe way cycle path down to the river and the East Devon footpath which runs behind the Bungalow. It took us about 35 minutes to walk into Exmouth where there is lots to explore with plenty of nice eating and drinking places. We also walked to the lovely little village of Lympstone, which is well worth a visit. Would definitely stay in the Bungalow if we went to Exmouth again.

Just back from a fantastic three nights at Paul’s place. The location of the house is fabulous, just 1-2 minutes walk from the beach. It felt very homely and comfortably sleeps 8 Breakfast on the balcony overlooking the sea and beach was sublime. Drinks up in the bar on the top decking at the back of the house in the evening with stunning views was real bonus. There are plenty of games to keep you occupied and we didn’t turn the TV on, not once. A nice spacious kitchen and a dinning room table that sits 8. We walked over to Burgh Island for a lovely meal at The Pilchard. Had a dip in the sea. Played golf at the very friendly and welcoming Bigbury and Thurlestone golf clubs and rounded it all off with a final meal at The Oyster Shack, only 10 minutes drive away. we had a very comfortable stay, with everything we needed. The home is peaceful and spacious with beautiful views. The Beach, Burgh island, local shops,cafe, pubs & restaurants are all within walking distance. NB arrive during day light hours as the roads leading to the house are single track and require a lot of patience and focus. We would most deffinatley visit again.

An amazing place for a holiday! Michelle was a great host and communicated well with us throughout, the caravan is immaculate and in a superb position that’s lovely and private however only a short walk away from the onsite amenities. Would definitely recommend

Lynette met us when we arrived and showed us around the bungalow which was very spacious with every amenity that you could wish for plus a lovely little garden and summerhouse. The place was very clean with plenty of storage and within walking distance of our daughter. We have already recommended it to someone else and we hope to stay there again when we are in the area.

Paul was great at communicating and the directional instructions were perfect for a place that could be difficult to locate. Paul was extremely responsive and proactive at asking us how we were in advance of us getting there and again upon arrival. Paul also let us know as soon as the room was ready and let us check out late when we asked (we were very appreciative)! 😊

Julia’s accommodation is wonderful – located in a quiet area, with plenty of parking and a beautiful garden. We had a fantastic stay. Julia was always very attentive and responded quickly. 100% recommended!

We had an amazing stay at Kevin’s Airbnb! The location was absolutely fantastic — close to everything with plenty to see and do nearby. From the moment we booked, Kevin’s communication was excellent, making everything seamless and stress-free. What really stood out were the thoughtful touches. Kevin went above and beyond to make our trip special by decorating for my mam’s 60th birthday — such a kind and personal gesture that meant so much to us. He also provided a lovely welcome basket, which was such a warm and generous surprise. The space was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, and we genuinely felt right at home. We found the Bungalow to be very spacious and very well equipped and maintained. All fixtures and fittings were top quality and it was a really great place to live in. The location is very well positioned to visit many places on the Devon coast. I would definitely stay there again if I was staying in Devon, great place.

Stay was very amazing and we never had such an experience before from any Airbnb. We felt the home ours and we had beautiful memories from that home. Thank you so much for the whole team who took a lot of care arranging all the things and made that home a sweet and perfect home. We got inspired from various ideas and structures from that home. We contacted Louise on Saturday night to ask a few questions about the property as we were in need of somewhere to stay from Sunday onwards, Louise answered swiftly and accurately our queries & we booked the property from the Sunday until the following Saturday. Louise sent us full and detailed instructions of the location, how to access and useful information like wifi codes etc and we arrived the next day. We were so pleased with the accommodation, it is quirky and filled with interesting items, there was access to the garden which is being cultivated to encourage bees, butterflies and birds and the property was immaculate, everything we needed was provided as well as things we didn't need. There was a host of local information available and the most comfortable bed away from home we have ever slept in. The location is a 15 minutes stroll from Dawlish Warren Beach, which is stunning, with views across to Exmouth. Five stars for Louise & Darren for being the perfect hosts.

Arrived at this charming bungalow to find it spotlessly clean, the host was incredibly responsive and kind. Lovely hamper left for us on arrival giving that little bit extra of a homely feel. The bungalow was very spacious and had all we needed for our stay. Beautiful surroundings and a great location for all we wanted to do. Thank you Daniel for letting us stay at your beautiful home.
