Gålå is a great family destination with lots of activities for the whole family. The place is especially famous for a long ski season with good ski slopes, the Peer-gynt game, and lots of opportunities on the bike in the summer.

In this place your family can stay close to everything, the location is central. Short distance to cross-country skiing, alpine skiing, climbing park, frisbee court, hiking trails and nice bike paths. Walking distance to shop. From this cabin you have a lovely view to Jotunheimen from the terrace, which can be enjoyed by the fire pit in good outdoor furniture. Other info. Bed linen and towels can be rented for NOK 100 per set. The tenant is responsible for cleaning. Possibly this can be agreed by the landlord for NOK 1000,-

Kårstua at Viken Fjellgård, right next to fishing lake

Viken Fjellgård is located by the lake Espedalsvatnet, an hour's drive from Lillehammer. And if you want to enjoy yourself indoors with a fire in the oven, a hot drink, a good book or a game, or if you want to go skiing, go for a walk on snowshoes, a hike, ice fishing, build a fire, make a snow cave and snow lantern, or just look at the stars, this can be the place. There are miles of prepared ski slopes here. The trails begin right outside the farm, or you can drive a short distance to start the hike on the high mountains.

New cottage built in 2023, with immediate proximity to Gålå Ski resort, with alpine slopes and cross country trails. 5-10 min walk to High and Low Gålå (climbing park), ski resort, cross country trails right outside the door and 5 min walk to the Peer-Gynt game. This cabin is perfect for friends, families with children, and has 2 bathrooms, 5 bedrooms as well as living room and kitchen. There are 3 double beds, a family bunk and a single bed. Outside you have lovely view from the terrace with cozy fire pit and seating.

Note: Due to big variations in the electricity prices we need to calculate the electricity for each stay. The electricity allowance of 100 NOK per day are included in your price. Excessive or wasteful usage will be billed at cost after your stay
