In summer there are also countless hiking opportunities, Høyt og Lavt climbing park, frisbee golf and open mountain pastures at Solbråsetra where the local woman Anne Hov invented Gudbrandsdal cheese in 1863. There is more culture: Peer Gynt Festival in July/August, Rondaståk in June and a short distance to the Country Festival in Vinstra

Large, modern cabin in a great mountain area on Gålå

Bring the whole family to this unique cabin with great nature experiences in summer and winter! The cabin is located at about 900 meters above sea level with a large natural plot and with a lovely view over Gålåvannet. The plot is 1500 sqm and borders hiking terrain and hiking trail, well suited for the whole family. In winter, there are groomed ski slopes nearby and you can strap on your skis outside the cabin. Easy access by car. The cabin is well equipped and contains a living room/kitchen, four bedrooms, two bathrooms, sauna, loft/TV room, sports shed and interior shed.

Running water, shower, toilet and electricity and charger for electric car. 3 bedrooms, 1 family bunk bed and 2 good double beds, cozy fireplace in the living room. There is a heat pump/AC, wifi TV channels. Cozy cabin, centrally located in relation to the mountain. Near Jotunheimen and Rondane. Lots of hiking opportunities in both summer and winter right from the door. About 1 km skiing through the forest to the trail network to Skeikampen. The cabin sleeps 5, plus crib, equipped kitchen, heat pump, wood-burning stove and dishwasher and washing machine. Bed linen and towels incl. Must have 4x4 in winter. 15 min to city center and Skeikampen, 30 min to Lillehammer and 45 min to Hunderfossen.

New cabin built in 2023, with immediate proximity to Gålå Ski Resort, with alpine slopes and cross-country trails. 5-10 min walk to Høyt og Lavt Gålå (climbing park), alpine facilities, cross-country trails right outside the door and 5 min walk to Peer-Gynt play. This cabin is perfect for friends, families with children, and has 2 bathrooms, 5 bedrooms as well as a living room and kitchen. There are 3 double beds, 1 bunk bed and 1 single bed. Outside you have a lovely view from the terrace with a cozy fire pit and seating.

Viking farm, Sygard Listad. King Olav stayed 1021.

Velkommen til Viking-gården Sygard Listad. Her bor du på historisk grunn. Viking-kongen Olav den Hellige bodde her i 1021, for å forberede slaget mot kongen i Gudbrandsdalen. Dette skjedde under kristninga av Norge. På gården finnes den hellige brønnen "Olavskilden". Kjøreavstand til Oslo er 250 km og det samme til Trondheim. Her kan du dra på ski i Hafjell, Kvitfjell, Gålå, nasjonalparken Jotunheimen eller Rondane. Om sommer kan du se Peer Gynt, moskus-safari eller dagstur til Geiranger.

Willkommen in Snowcake Cottage, unsere luxuriöse Holzhütte mit einer tollen Ausstattung und einer einzigartigen Aussicht auf den Gålå-See sowie das Jotunheimen Gebirge. Bei uns findest du neben Sauna, Hot tub und freistehender Badewanne alles, was dein Herz begehrt! Bettwäsche und Handtücher, Shampoo und Duschgel sind ebenfalls inklusive. Nur das verbrauchte Holz sollte am Ende des Urlaubs wieder aufgefüllt werden.
