Family-friendly holiday rentals in Fuškulin

Everything was pretty much as expected. Jakob was super easy to communicate with. It was pretty centrally located for all we planned to do on arrival and for day trips. The pictures more than did justice to what we found. It was very relaxing and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The castle area in Kastov was very nice, with great food and a nice place to wind down the night. Overall, a wonderful vacation to a place we’d never been.

Schöne geräumige Wohnung. Jedes der 4 Schlafzimmer hat sein eigenes Bad. Der große Balkon mit Hollywoodschaukel und Esstisch ist super. Es gab 3 überdachte Stellplätze für unsere Autos (Wir waren mit 6 Personen und 3 Autos dort). Die Gastgeberin ist freundlich, hilfsbereit, antwortet schnell auf Nachrichten und hilft auch vor Ort weiter, wenn Bedarf ist. Wir haben eine G Maps Liste mit Empfehlungen für Restaurants und Strände bekommen. Sehr hilfreich und nett. Lediglich der Induktionsherd ist etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig und hat es leider nicht geschafft, zeitgleich die Pommes im Ofen zu backen und oben auf der Herdplatte das Fleisch in der Pfanne anzubraten. Hier konnte auch Irena leider nichts machen und wir mussten warten bis das Gerät wieder abgekühlt ist. Eine Auflaufform im Inventar wäre tatsächlich noch toll 😉 Ansonsten gute Ausgangslage für Unternehmungen und Ausflüge, Supermärkte sind sogar fußläufig gut erreichbar, sodass man sogar morgens schnell frische Brötchen holen kann.

Gloria und Alen sind wunderbare und hilfsbereite Gastgeber. Die Villa ist ein Traum, hier stimmt einfach alles. Wer hier noch nicht war sollte her kommen, wer hier schon war kommt eh wieder. Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Urlaub und können diese Villa zu Hundert Prozent weiter empfehlen!

Heel erg fijn verblijf gehad! Het huis was erg netjes toen we daar aankwamen en van alle gemakken voorzien. De host was ook erg vriendelijk en altijd te bereiken als er iets was. Zeker een aanrader als je naar Pula wilt.

Casa semplicemente fantastica, noi eravamo in 7, 4 adulti e 3 ragazzi, i ragazzi hanno dormito sui divani letto nell’immensa sala, noi avevamo le due matrimoniali. Piscina, vasca idro, portico con tavolo. Tutto fantastico. Lavanderia a gettoni a pochi passi. Ci si sposta in macchina ma in pochi minuti si raggiunge tutto! Il proprietario ci ha aspettato e fatto vedere tutta la casa. Che dire, tutto perfetto!!

Unser Urlaub in diesem Haus war einfach klasse. Das Haus ist sehr schön und mit viel Liebe eingerichtet. Der Pool ist toll und wird täglich gereinigt. Die Terrassen bieten viel Platz und sind alle prima. Das Haus ist genauso, wie es beschrieben wird. Sämtliche Dinge, wie Seife, Schwämme, Öl und noch vieles mehr sind neu. Es sah alles so aus, als wäre noch nie jemand da gewesen.Allea sehr sauber und man fühlt sich gleich wohl. Einfach nur schön. Die Gegend ist ruhig, aber mit dem Auto kommt man schnell überall hin. Im Dorf gibt es einen kleinen Stand, der immer frisches Obst und Gemüse da hat. Es lohnt sich, diesen zu unterstützen. Aber der Knaller sind die Vermieter. Die beiden kümmern sich um alles. Sie sind immer bereit Tipps zu geben und man wird auch zwischendurch mit Leckereien versorgt. Die beiden sind super nett. Insgesamt kann ich diesen Ort einfach nur empfehlen. Das war sicher nicht unser letztes Mal.

Wir waren mit den beiden Kids dort. Familienfreundlich trifft hier zu 100% zu. Man fühlt sich wie zuhause und Oggi der Hund ist in den Herzen der Kinder drinnen. Total ausreichend für 2+2. Toller Grill auf der Terrasse. Entspannung für die Eltern, weil die Kinder schön auf dem Grundstück spielen können. Jederzeit wieder :)!

We had a lovely stay at Matt and Anna’s “kucica” home! Everyone was exceptionally friendly and helpful and everything was even better than the description. What really stood out for us was the dinner - such an incredible experience and we will cherish the memories for a lifetime. We can’t wait to come back!

Beautiful modern apartment, equipped with everything you need. Perfect cleanliness. Everything was exactly as desired. The best part is the private terrace in the garden and the exit to it. Nearby there is a large store, small markets and good restaurants. 10 minutes walk to the best beaches. Funtana itself is very beautiful. It was a wonderful holiday in Funtana with such pleasant hosts. Thank you, we will definitely come back!

Accoglienza super, una volta accolti e consegnato le chiavi (il tutto in tedesco, che io fortunatamente conosco, ma in ogni caso l'host offre la possibilità di fare una chiamata con lei anche in inglese nel caso non si parli né tedesco né croato) ci è stato offerto un caffè dal padre dell'host mentre ci indicava tutti i posti utili dove andare (supermercato ecc.) e ci consigliava i migliori ristoranti (apprezzatissimo!) lasciandoci addirittura una cartina Io ho alloggiato con il mio compagno e il mio cane di taglia media, circa 20kg; L'host ancora prima di confermare la nostra prenotazione ci ha consigliato una bellissima spiaggia per cani a solo 5 minuti in macchina. Appartamento molto carino e ben attrezzato, in una zona molto tranquilla e da qui è facile raggiungere anche a piedi ristoranti e spiagge.

The location is what stood out for us! This apartment is so close to the beach, restaurants, bars and a small supermarket. Being able to walk around old town was the best and Maja was super friendly and provided great tips on where to eat. The steps leading up to the apartment provided a great workout.

Peaceful oasis in the heart of it all!! From the moment you enter the gate, to the moment you turn the corner to the flat....it takes your breath away. Beautiful, peaceful luxury, almost unreal for the location. The flat is beautiful, spotless and well appointed with absolutely everything you could possibly need for two persons. The outdoor space is the star for sure. Peaceful, comfortable and a wonderful retreat after a day of exploring the old town. A place to kick back with a glass of wine and listen to nature all around you, stunningly beautiful. The fact that you have use of bikes was such a bonus as the waterfront just begs for you to explore. We were truly grateful to have the bikes and navigate the park and beaches so close to the flat.....remarkable add on!! Wir waren vom 19. bis 25. Mai 2025 bei Sara in Pula (Valkane) zu Gast und hatten einen wundervollen Aufenthalt! Sara ist eine herzliche, offene Gastgeberin, die fließend Italienisch und Englisch spricht. Wir hatten das Apartment 1 eine sehr saubere, liebevoll eingerichtete Wohnung mit voll ausgestatteter Küche, zwei Klimaanlagen und einem kleinen Balkon. Alles war super gepflegt, die Toilette und das gesamte Apartment blitzsauber. Die Aussicht auf das Meer war traumhaft! Die Lage ist ruhig, mit schönem Garten und sogar frischen Früchten – gleichzeitig ist alles, was man braucht (Supermarkt, Strand, Altstadt), schnell erreichbar. Sara hat uns alles genau erklärt und war während des gesamten Aufenthalts sehr hilfsbereit. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und kommen auf jeden Fall wieder. Absolute Empfehlung!

Villa Elizabeth was geweldig. We hebben genoten van de prachtige omgeving, de heerlijke tuin, het zwembad, de fietsen en stepjes. Een dikke 10! We komen zeker terug!

Wir hatten einen tollen Urlaub in der traumhaft schönen Unterkunft von Klaus. Die Anlage ist super gut gepflegt und Klaus war jederzeit erreichbar. Bei defektem Wasserablauf im Bad hat Klaus super schnell reagiert und einen Handwerker geschickt der sehr freundlich war und alles direkt reparieren konnte. Unsere spontanen Gäste durften sogar kostenfrei eine Nacht mit ihrem Camper auf dem Parkplatz übernachten - DANKE dafür. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder und empfehlen die Unterkunft gerne weiter!

The best Airbnb we have stayed in. We only had two days at Luciano’s place but we wish we could have stayed longer. Luciano and his wife were amazing with the children, they gave my son his favourite chocolates and gave him a tractor ride. The house was spotless, comfortable and everything had been thought of. We will definitely be returning in the future for a longer holiday. We went to the local town for coffee (where we found lots of lovely cafes and restaurants) and also found a castle in the centre of the town which the children loved. The local supermarket was well stocked. If you are thinking of staying here you won’t regret it. We had a very memorable stay to end our ten day road trip.

This home is the perfect location for anyone looking to get away from the crowds and enjoy your own private slice of Croatian paradise on the Istrian peninsula while still being close to several wonderful attractions, like the old city of Rovinj and the hill town of Motovun. The home and surrounding yard have everything you need including several outdoor locations to sit and relax while soaking up the ambience. Enjoy your coffee or wine while listening to the birds and enjoying the view of the olive trees and lavender plants. The hosts couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. We really appreciated their hospitality, local recommendations, and personal touch. The best Airbnb experience we've had.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house is a hidden gem. While the original description was a little misleading, suggesting the house is in Rovinj (it is actually in Modrušani, near the small town of Žminj - 20 minute drive to Rovinj), that didn't take anything away from the beauty of the place. The house is tastefully furnished, the kitchen very well equipped and all bedrooms have their own en-suite bathroom. The pool area with lounge chairs and umbrellas, as well as the outdoor kitchen were amazing. Thank you Marta for being a great host! We'll be back whenever we get a chance.

Wir hatten eine wundervolle Zeit in der Villa in Kroatien! Die Unterkunft ist wirklich sehr schön, geschmackvoll eingerichtet, gepflegt und sauber – genau wie auf den Bildern. Schon bei der Ankunft wurden wir herzlich empfangen: Es gab selbstgemachten Schnaps und eine lokale Süßigkeit zur Begrüßung, was uns sehr gefreut hat. Auch der Kontakt mit den Gastgebern war top: Als wir einmal ihre Hilfe benötigten, waren sie sofort erreichbar und gleich vor Ort. Sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit – da haben wir uns wirklich gut aufgehoben gefühlt. Einziger kleiner Wermutstropfen: Die Betten bzw. Matratzen sind leider schon recht durchgelegen und nicht mehr besonders bequem. Gerade weil die Villa sonst so hochwertig ist, ist das schade – hier wäre eine Erneuerung wirklich wünschenswert. Insgesamt aber ein toller Aufenthalt – wir würden sehr gerne wiederkommen!

We hebben een zeer aangenaam verblijf gehad, het heeft ons aan niets ontbroken. Zeer hartelijke ontvangst door host Victor en van veel informatie voorzien over wat er te zien en te doen is in de omgeving. Tar is een rustig plaatsje dat prima is als uitvalbasis voor het ontdekken van noord Istrië.

Massive massive thank you to Marino who treated us like his own guests, ensured we knew where to go and what to do. Even picked us up from the airport (can't expect him to do this every time but it goes to show his friendliness). Thanks for everything Marino and you made this trip special for us.
