It was wonderful! Even if music was running longer in the evening, that was no problem at all. Simply beautiful. It was also asked if it was okay for us that the dogs are in the garden. You could definitely have said no.

Very nice house in a wonderful location. The water property with the beautiful terrace is really special. The house is bright and spacious. We arrived as a family with 7 people, it was perfect for that. In March, it was still a little chilly to use the terrace extensively, but the fireplace in the cozy living room was worth gold. We felt very comfortable.

We had a very nice weekend with the whole family. Thank you for the beautiful accommodation!

It was all the same as the photos and the listing description. It is a really great, generous of the square and stylishly furnished house. It was totally clean. You immediately felt at home. The cozy beds were also really great. We had a really nice time. It is highly recommend.

This was a lovely house for us. Right on isjelmeer. Everything was clean and very stylish. Bed super comfortable. Very cosy and close to all the gorgeous villages in Friesland. We loved it here.

The house is sensational. Very impressive high rooms, huge and very tastefully furnished. There is everything you need. You can park right in front of the house. Just right for our family trip (10 person). We wanted a quiet house near the North Sea. Sandra and Nic are great host. We can all recommend the house.

We had a very nice time with our large group in the accommodation. Everything was very clean and furnished with a lot of love for detail. Our highlights were the sauna and the hot tub as well as the large dining table, where we all liked to eat together. The garden offers plenty of space for various activities, and the natural swimming pool with free entry for guests is absolutely worth a visit in good weather. There is ample parking and even a wallbox for charging electric cars. Denise and Thorben thought of everything – from dishwasher tablets to garbage bags to sponges, there was a great basic equipment that you often forget. It was a really nice time for us, and we would love to come back!

We were super satisfied. The location is just perfect. The hosts were always available immediately and super friendly! Always happy to come back.

We had a very nice time with our 3 sons of 4, 3 and 0 and the children's grandfather, grandmother and uncle. House looked beautiful, we felt at home, beautiful spacious garden. We enjoyed. We brought our own high chair and cot, which was not available at the location, which was no problem.

We had a nice stay and Anneke or her daughter were always available for questions during the stay. The house is very nicely decorated, everything was clean, good amenities and the pool and jacuzzi were great. I am more than happy to recommend the place.

We had a lovely week with our two children (5 and 8 years) in the cottage on the Schildmeer. We were able to swim almost every day and otherwise explored the surroundings (Groningen, Appingedam, Delfzijl). The amenities are better than indicated: there is toilet paper, hand soap, hand and tea towels and a large selection of cooking utensils and spices in the kitchen. There is no oven, but a microwave where we prepared our casserole. We had a good time and say thank you very much!

We had a lovely weekend. Very nice and clean house with all comforts. The contact with Richard and Simone was very friendly and pleasant. This is a must for anyone looking for peace, sea and beach.

The accommodation is in a unique location overlooking the beach and North Sea. It’s tastefully furnished and thoughtfully equipped. Even has its own private fitness equipment and there is also the use of an indoor pool. Everything was immaculate and every detail from the cozy bedding to the modern amenities made our stay exceptionally comfortable. Luna’s mother went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and gave us some outstanding local tips. It would be a perfect location for a larger gathering as Luna also runs a Beach House opposite. Whether you are looking for a peaceful getaway, an active beach holiday or simply a beautiful place to relax and unwind, this is the perfect place. We can’t wait to return and highly recommend it to anyone looking to experience the best of IJmuidens coastal charm.

We stayed at this lovely AirBnB with 5 couples. We rented the entire residence and we all were extremely impressed with our accommodations and hosts. The property was as it was described and more. This location was central for us to journey out for day trips all over the Netherlands. Our hosts were top notch and provided great knowledge about the surrounding area. The common areas provided great place to gather and our rooms were a beautiful space to retreat. We would highly recommend to anyone, whether renting a room (as the bed and breakfast) or the entire home! Thank you to Matt and Csilla for creating a beautiful atmosphere for us to holiday as a family.

Guy is a great host who takes good care of the accommodation and takes care of the well-being of his guests. In particular, his quick response time, even with spontaneous inquiries, was very helpful. We had a smooth stay without exception. Glad to come back!
