It was just great! One of the most beautiful accommodations we have visited so far. With so much attention to detail, Janet and Auke have created a feel-good oasis that leaves nothing to be desired. A wonderful place to relax, recharge your batteries and enjoy both the beautiful home and the surroundings to the fullest. Thanks to both of them for the very fine, delicious and cuddly welcome greetings! I'm sure we'll be back.

The most beautiful and comfortable stay we have been to in the Netherlands. A great host with passion, who enthusiastically talks about the area and the rich history. The communication was excellent and the beautiful, soothing environment ensures that you can completely relax. Absolutely recommended for everyone, we are guaranteed to come back!

It was really nice to be able to experience Lucy's life rhythm for a few days. Her lovely cottage, the beautiful ecological flower, vegetable garden and food forest. I liked that Lucy could tell me everything about the garden. Wake up to a beautiful view and the sound of so many birds. From the cottage I took beautiful walks and bike rides. A nice place to relax and unwind. Lucy, thank you for your hospitality and sharing your beautiful place! I hope to stop by again.

what a wonderful place to be. the yurt is spacious and well furnished. The pipo wagon with sanitary facilities and kitchen is conveniently furnished and everything you need is there. Outside a wonderful space, with lots of fruit trees and a campfire place. Eda gave good tips of places where it was nice to be, suitable for me. In addition, a wide range of workshops to choose from. A very special place!

We had a very nice time at the farm. Our little 2-year-old son and we ; ) had a lot of fun with all the play equipment and vehicles of any kind. The accommodation is very lovingly furnished, we lacked nothing. No matter which room you are in, you always look into the greenery, that was very relaxing. Anytime again!

We have already been to this beautiful house several times and always feel very comfortable. It really has everything you need and both nature and Emden are really easy to get to.

We didn't want to leave! You feel super comfortable and at home. The accommodation is as shown in the pictures and although you know what to expect, you are positively surprised. Werner contacted us proactively, is very friendly in communication and open to improvements, but hardly needs them. The apartment is very well equipped, very clean and the beds are comfortable. The terrace is a highlight anyway and the seclusion gives you a lot of privacy. The location is very quiet and secluded. However, you can still quickly reach shopping facilities, restaurants and the North Sea by car. We have been able to do a lot, be it excursions to the islands or to Denmark. A true heart recommendation!

We had wonderful days in Inken's studio at the Wilhelminenhof. The furnishings are very stylish and you can feel that not only good ideas and a sense of interior design, but also passion are involved. The park-like garden, the playground, the foyer for guests, the wind-protected glass house, ... are also lovingly designed. We loved the path by the sea to Dornumersiel, the mudflat hike from the Wadden Sea Nature Park House, eating fish at the small harbour, the sheep on the dyke and our day trip to Baltrum. Since we arrived by bus and train, we of course also found the bus stop directly in front of the house great. Thanks for having us as guests.

I had an amazing time at the cabin. I am a florist and I came from the USA for the flowers and to learn as much as I could about them, the farming, the flower auctions & the marketing and advertising while I was here. I was traveling solo and her cabin is a perfect location for it all and I felt safe there through out my stay. I also loved the fact that I had the quiet woods and farmland surrounding me but could also be at the beach in a blink of an eye! She was an amazing host with the biggest heart and wonderful recommendations. I so wish to come back one day with my daughter. The cabin and The Netherlands have my heart now! :) Thank you for an amazing trip. P.s.- If you plan to stay here, maybe bring a flashlight because the trail in the woods to the cabin can get a little dark at night! ;)

We really loved Emmanuelle's place - we absolutely recommend staying! It is very spacious and wonderfully decorated - lots of interesting furniture, fixtures, and decor. The beds were so comfy and the place is very clean. We only stayed one night and it was rainy the whole time so I can't wait to go again when we can stay longer and enjoy the animals and outside areas too. Communication with Emmanuelle was always a pleasure.

After our wedding, we set out to spend a few nights in Gerd and Kathinka's Stork's Nest. You can see the love in every detail on the farm directly when you enter the grounds. We were shown everything and it quickly became clear how casual the next few days would be. There is always something going on in the yard. We deliberately took some time and simply walked for a few hours and helped with the horses, for example. It's great that there was a certain basic level of trust right from the start. The pottery course at Kathinka was also super exciting. We are already looking forward to the final product. We were able to take a lot of the stay with us and are already looking forward to the next time. :)

We felt very comfortable right away and as three couples including a small child, we had everything we needed, enough space and a kitchen that left nothing to be desired. We will be happy to come back :)

What a great holiday stay! Super clean and wonderfully spacious. Nice bedrooms and absolutely great for small children. All the stuff was there, even bathrobes for the kids. The area is wonderfully quiet. Highly recommended!

What a wonderfully beautiful and serene place to stay. It was a cute and quaint little cabin with absolute privacy and so quiet with the canals gurgling right next to you. It was an absolutely phenomenal stay and a gorgeous location.

We had a great stay! The apartment is located in a quiet and natural environment, is tastefully decorated and equipped with all comforts. Everything was sparkling clean and well cared for. The location is ideal: you can be in Harlingen and Franeker in no time. Ympkje is an incredibly friendly and attentive host, who is always ready. We felt welcome right away. TOP Airbnb, we felt comfortable from the first moment and can only recommend this neighborhood! Everything sparkling clean and like new, comfortable beds, great internet. Sabine is an extremely courteous and accommodating hostess. She was always immediately available to address our concerns. The location is very quiet and the apartment is completely private. This is the perfect place to stay when visiting Alkmaar! It is close enough to enjoy all that the city has to offer, yet it also provides a beautiful, peaceful escape from the business and crowds. Han and Kelly were great hosts, providing helpful recommendations and even rides from the train station and into Alkmaar. We also enjoyed hanging out with the dog, cat and chickens! We would definitely stay here again.

Delightfully enjoyed the tranquility! If you want to do something elsewhere, Joyce knew enough to tell you about the area. Top facilities for maximum relaxation. All in all a super location and host! Certainly subject to repetition.

The place is in a quiet relaxing location just to chill out and forget about the chaos of the city! Inside was very cozy, private, spacious and clean. Place very well stocked but would have been also nice to have some boardgames around. Kevin answered very quickly when needed. Overall, my kids and I were very happy to enjoy a couple of days in the nature in a nice and cozy little place! Thanks Kevin.

We had a very lovely stay in Jisp with Esther and Marc. Spacious accommodation in such a peaceful location. Our hosts were fantastic, so accommodating and helpful. We made the best of the weather with several days of cycling and relaxing. Public transport is excellent as to be expected. We would love to come back and explore more of North Holland.
