The Black Swan houseboat is truly a special place to stay. Leonora and Erwin have thought of every detail, and the space makes you feel instantly at home. If you are looking for a special place to relax with friends or family, you need to consider a stay at the Black Swan. We would certainly return without hesitation.

A fantastic accommodation on the water. We felt very comfortable right away. Unfortunately, the time was over far too quickly. A return is guaranteed and we are already looking forward to next time. We absolutely recommend it.

We enjoyed the stay on the houseboat! A wonderful spot on the water with a Superhost! Nice rooms, fun games and plenty to do nearby. We have enjoyed the tranquility in the immediate surroundings of Amsterdam. It was wonderful "coming home" on the ark after a busy day in the city. Marie Louise is very cozy and helpful and always ready to help! Really fantastic!!!@

The accommodation lived up to its promises. The location was beautiful, situated right by the canal. While it’s slightly outside the center of Amsterdam, it remains easily accessible. Karina was a perfect host—always responsive and helpful, providing great recommendations and a booklet with clear instructions. She even allowed us to leave our luggage there before check-in. We would definitely book again.

This is a special place to stay. You do not sleep in an old cargo ship all days. In addition, there is a separate room where you can sit and eat, with a kitchen and a toilet/bathroom. Well equipped all. The host and hostess are friendly and very helpful. Surroundings are fantastic. We kwamewn to fish and have gotten very much into us. In short, we had a great stay.

Absolutely brilliant houseboat. Super nicely decorated - very modern - equipped with everything you need. It was sparkling clean and cozy. We felt completely comfortable and enjoyed the life on the houseboat very much (a great experience). The boat includes a sup, which we tried despite the season. In and around the boat is very quiet and yet you are almost in the middle of it - it is only a few meters to the actual place. Really great: the supermarket is right across the street. Anita and Diedert are great and very attentive hosts, whom we did not meet in person but the communication with them was excellent. We would love to come again.

Thank you for the beautiful accommodation! We were able to relax and unwind wonderfully. Exactly what we wanted. In the morning and in the evening it was especially nice to hear the toads in the Wangermeer. The houseboat is equipped with screens around the windows, so spiders have stayed outside the house boat. However, those who are afraid of spiders should know that the spiders are outside on the houseboat. Which is quite normal, in nature. However, the small fluttering sparrows regularly take them away :-) The sunrise over the sea was a treat every morning. We'd love to vacation here again. Best regards, Ulrike, Juliane and Jesse

What a cool place to stay! The place is ideally used, everything is well explained. For us, a perfect balance to the urban hustle and bustle. There is no better place to enjoy the sun than the roof terrace:) And easily accessible by public transport. We will be happy to come back!

We were so lucky to be able to stay in such a beautiful place! The beds were comfy, the surroundings were peaceful and beautiful... it was a lovely escape from the busy, city-center. We LOVED the use of the kitchen and the deck just off the kitchen. Hein was so good to have bikes available for us. There is little available directly near the home but a 10 minute bike ride along the lovely road and over the bridge gets you to all you could want. We were sad to leave our Amsterdam home and will hope Hein's home is available when we return.

We had a lovely extended weekend on the houseboat! The location was fantastic – quiet, right on the water, with beautiful views. The boat was very clean, well equipped and cozily furnished, with everything you need. We especially liked the small terrace, perfect for breakfast or the evening. An absolute recommendation for those who want to experience something different and relax! I'm sure we'll be back.

We had an amazing stay at the boathouse. The hosts are responsive and caring, the manager was welcoming and informative. The house was exactly as described and Heeg is a beautiful town!

We really enjoyed our one night stay. The place is charming, original and easy to get to. We easily found a good restaurant and Aalsmeer is a very nice place. We enjoyed the welcome booklet prepared by Anne who was very responsive and available. The accommodation was clean and functional. We were welcomed and had a very nice stay! It was a great experience sleeping on the water. To be done again!

we had a wonderful getaway on the houseboat as a small family. There was everything you needed. There were many possibilities for business and that we were already allowed to use the sloop was an absolute highlight. If we had a question, we always got a super quick answer. A very nice family, great boat. we would come back any time.

This boat was such a treat, beautifully presented, spacious, gorgeous views amongst other boats, easy walking around central Amsterdam. The facilities within the boat were top notch, stylish upstairs living space, extremely comfortable beds, lovely bathroom (with the bonus of an upstairs toilet too). If we were there in warmer weather we would have spent more time just hanging out on the deck. Heartily recommend.

There were four of us and we had a wonderful time! Even the arrival was very straightforward, the communication in advance was simple and pleasant. The place was exactly as described – very clean, modern and lovingly furnished, so we felt comfortable from the first moment. Everything was really thought of: the kitchen was well equipped, the beds very comfortable and also small details such as towels, toiletries and a small selection of coffee and tea made our stay particularly pleasant. Also the location was perfect – quiet yet central so we could get to many getaways and restaurants quickly. We enjoyed the time very much and can absolutely recommend the place. Thank you for the great hospitality – we will be happy to come back!

We had a short but great and relaxing break here. The houseboat was something completely different. It has many nice outdoor spaces to relax, SUPs and boats for use. Downtown was within walking distance and yet it was quite quiet on the boat. We will be happy to come back.

it was everything we expected and more. the ducks came for tea 😁 we really enjoyed our stay.

We had fantastic days with our boys. Full days of boating, good food and in the evening on the houseboat. Highly recommended.
