Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Frankenau

We stayed at Anita's place for the second time. Like two years ago, it was very clean. The space complies with the descriptions. The sauna works great and warms up relatively quickly. The area is also great, there are a lot of nice activities. We missed the no longer existing hot tub (which was clearly not included in photos or description), but otherwise everything was great. Beautifully located cabin in a quiet, small resort with direct access to hiking trails and a great view. The decor is really nice and the bathroom brand new and modern. Definitely a recommendation for a quiet short trip, even if the price is a bit high in my opinion.

We were already in the accommodation a year ago. Nothing has changed our impression: Great apartment with a lot of comfort, the surroundings are fantastic. Ilona was again a very good and pleasant hostess. Furthermore, an absolute recommendation!

We were in this beautiful holiday home for an extended weekend with 13 people. We felt very comfortable. Everything was clean and above all the children were super satisfied and could play in the beautiful garden with the toys. The stream was a particular highlight. We will be happy to come back.

We had a great stay with a total of three families. Ulla is a very nice, helpful and accommodating hostess. The accommodation and surroundings were really fantastic for a quiet break!

Beautiful location, surrounded by nature, lots of sunlight. House is cozily decorated, you feel right at home. Anything you need is available. Extra effort was made for our small children (baby cot, high chair, stair gate). Close to beautiful hiking trails and only 5 to 10 min drive to other places in Winterberg for skiing/sledding. In the evening enjoyed a campfire and the sauna. Communication with the owners prior to our stay went very smoothly!

We were with 2 adults and two 9-year-old children in Gisela's apartment. Due to the cosy furnishings, spacious layout of the rooms and the rustic outdoor area, we felt very comfortable from the beginning. The contact with Gisela is very nice and unobtrusive. On a cool day, she provided us with extra wood for the stove. Particularly noteworthy is the absolute peace! We would come back.

The house is perfectly located between many outdoor activities, which we enjoyed during our stay at their location. Our daughter was very pleased with the play set and toys, which were provided. We can most certainly recommend staying here.

We had a few very nice days in the quiet area at Claudia's. The apartment is beautiful and we were even greeted with a homemade cake! We were very satisfied with the stay and can only recommend it.

We spent a very nice long weekend in the Old Forsthaus and were very enthusiastic about the apartment, in which nothing was missing (especially in the kitchen) and everything is visually so beautifully coordinated that you could only feel comfortable. We also particularly liked the garden and the location on the edge of the forest. You can start a hike directly, e.g. to the Dalheim Monastery or on the forest adventure trail. Helen's mother welcomed us very warmly and quickly answered and supported us with small questions. We will definitely come back when we are back in the area, it is a very relaxing place. Thank you very much!

I spent a night in the apartment on my way through and would have liked to have stayed longer. A very nice, sweet apartment! Very clean, nicely decorated. Modern. The house itself was also very cute and in a beautiful environment. Check-in was easy and Juliane was very nice and always available. Highly recommended.

We are a family of 4 with 2 small children. The apartment and garden were super large and beautifully bright. There was nothing lacking in household appliances. The location of the apartment was great, quiet area and everything quickly accessible within 15 minutes.

Even on the way there, we were delighted by the quiet, green surroundings. Thanks to the exact description we received before check-in, we quickly and easily got into the accommodation and were very impressed with the modern style of furnishings and the great view. The apartment has panoramic windows in both directions, the lush forest offers pure relaxation for the eyes and soul. We liked to sit in the loggia and listen to the forest sounds and sunbathe with a coffee. The bathroom has a nice rain shower. We also visited the sauna and pool, everything was perfect and we were even the only ones, probably because it is actually a winter sports area. We are a family with a baby and a small poodle and felt very comfortable, so we actually didn't want to leave. The host is also very friendly and gave us all the information we needed. All around great - we will recommend this accommodation and will be happy to come back.

Very friendly host! Beautiful and spacious house. We would definitely recommend it and would love to come back with the large group. Everything is child and dog friendly, modern and bright. The only thing that could have been better would have been if our need for rooms (we were guests in a very variable constellation: parents with up to three children, but also individuals) had been requested in advance. We thought that the booking amount would include ALL bedrooms. However, we could have easily booked additional rooms - spontaneously and on site. Thank you for the stay, dear Paul

The house was very clean and everything was also available. The beautiful city centre was within walking distance as well as several supermarkets. Torsten's mother takes care of the check-in (if you are in front of the house, the mother lives to the left). Very friendly and accommodating and if any questions should arise, you could easily contact them.

It was really very nice and quiet! A well equipped kitchen and a great living room that invites you to spend a game night together. The house is very clean and is well lit. The terrace is very nice and the dogs were also able to let off steam!

Perfect home for us to cycle with some friends in the region in the region. Kitchen was well equipped, clean and large living room. Bedrooms were fine. Location is perfect and easily accessible. Instructions to get in were clear. You can sit there on the balcony and there is a large garage to store our bicycles. Definitely a note!
