Since this is an old half-timbered house, the ceiling height in the basement is 2 m!!! An outside sauna can be booked as an add-on starting in September

Cozy 6-person vacation home in Frankenau.

Our detached vacation home in the Sauerland is located on the slopes of the Sternberg on a beautiful large plot with a view of the edge of a forest at the front and lots of privacy. The six-person house is located at "Ferienpark Frankenau" just outside the small village of Frankenau, about 45 km from the ski resorts of Winterberg and Willingen. The home is rented only for recreational purposes. We hand over the key in person, or possibly via a key safe if we are not around.

The apartment in the Hasen-Haus is located not far from Lake Affoldern, right at the entrance to the Kellerwald National Park – the perfect start to wonderful hikes. It is about 2 km to Lake Edersee. Around the lake there are countless leisure activities for all ages: the wildlife park, the summer toboggan run, a treetop trail, the climbing park, bike tours, water sports and swimming on and in the lake, a canoe tour on the Eder and much more.

Very cozy forest house in the magical garden with sauna

Our 120 sqm apartment is located in a 4500 sqm garden, surrounded by nature, between Burgwald and Kellerwald. The garden was laid out by a landscape gardener 30 years ago. Here you can find peace and relaxation or make beautiful trips to Marburg or the nearby Edersee from here. The lake offers a variety of business opportunities. You can also start tours with our bicycles or hike and relax in our sauna in the evening.

The village is beautifully situated at 360 meters above sea level, right on the edge of the vast Habichtswald. Ideal for walking and tranquility.   The house is very luxurious: three saunas, two bathrooms, pool table and much more! There’s lots to do in the area. Especially around the Nationalpark Kellerwald-Edersee.
