House holiday rentals in Franekeradeel

There were four of us there in June – despite the rain and colder temperatures, we were able to enjoy our stay thanks to the sauna and the heated pool, which was our highlight! We were very warmly welcomed, the accommodation is really great – we can only recommend it and will definitely come back. The adjacent forest is great for walking and Groningen and Leeuwarden are each just under 30 minutes away by car.

The dune house is a wonderful place to spend a relaxing time on Ameland. Located directly on the dunes, you can experience the nature of the island in all its facets. The house is tastefully decorated and has everything you need for a relaxed stay. Geertje is a great host and communication with her was very pleasant. We will be happy to come back and can absolutely recommend a stay dune house!

An all-round great house in the holiday park de Krim. The house is in a quiet location, but also very central. The centre of the park is only a few minutes' walk away, which is great with smaller children. Contact with Gerdi is very friendly and uncomplicated. We had a really nice holiday on Texel and would love to come back.

It was nice and everything is always nicer when the sun is shining but in all cases: - very nice, cozy cottage - terrace directly overlooking the pond (exciting conversations with local ducks) - very easy check-in and responsive host - superb sunset to end the day while eating on the terrace.

We had a very nice stay as a family in the very spacious house. The large living room was particularly nice, the kitchen offers everything you need. Jaap was very helpful, gave us tips and was very flexible with a late check-out. The area is wonderfully quiet and idyllic.

We had two beautiful days at the house. It is quiet. There are also two supermarkets in the village. There is a lot to do in the region. The house also invites you to linger. Both saunas were really great. We'll be sure to recommend

We really enjoyed our time there everything was as expected clean and neat.

We had a wonderful weekend with our son (8) in Johannes' cottage. What attention has been paid to the construction and furnishing of this cottage, wonderfully how many details Johannes has managed to add, we recognised objects that our grandmother used to cook with or that were in her kitchen. The beds are comfortable, the cottage is equipped with every comfort. Bicycles are available, but you can also go many ways from here by car. We hope to come back to see more of the area.

We stayed in their lovely home with your two kids, we didn't have the best weather but still enjoyed our stay. The location is lovely and the home is spacious, clean and well kept. We used the bikes once to go shopping for a few little items when we didn't feel like taking the car and played some midget golf with the kids. We had a lovely stay.

Upon arrival, we were extremely surprised by the beautiful house and the special decor. Everything was right. As the icing on the cake, we looked out over the wonderful garden. Everything was super clean and very tasteful.

We had a great time in Sneek and the accommodation was just perfect for us. Plenty of space, everything you need was available and really tasteful and yet practical. The terrace and the whirlpool are special highlights and Petra spoiled us with small snacks and cold drinks on arrival. The location of the house is great, you can walk very quickly to the city center with many restaurants as well as the supermarket and yet it is quiet and we were able to sleep relaxed. We were also allowed to use the bicycles and did a small tour. All around beautiful!

Incredible place! The apartment on the seashore turned out to be a real oasis of freedom, comfort and inspiration. Everything is like a postcard - fresh air, endless fields, a gentle wind from the sea and absolute peace. We had a great time: we improvised dances, laughed until we cried, explored the surroundings and enjoyed nature in all its beauty. The evening with mushrooms added a special magic — everything became truly alive, real. We lay in the fields, looked up at the sky, and just were. The hosts are pleasant, unobtrusive, everything was prepared with soul. The interior is minimalist, but very warm and functional — you immediately feel at home. If you need a place to rest your body and mind, to escape the hustle and bustle and just be real, this is it. Thank you with all our hearts for this experience. We will definitely come back!

Our stay in the beautiful holiday home was great! It had everything you need. Patricia responded quickly to messages. Thanks also for the flexible check-in and check-out :) It would have been good to know beforehand that two large towels were missing, then we would have brought some ourselves. Otherwise, everything is great and highly recommended!

A very friendly welcome in a beautiful quiet Frisian place. Living in a well-kept old Frisian house, close to the water, has I liked it very much. If you are looking for relaxation, you are in good hands in Grou.

We had a wonderful and relaxing holiday in Geert's cozy cottage. It is very idyllic and quiet, located directly on a small lake, and we were able to unwind wonderfully. Geert was easily accessible and friendly. Everything was very clean and tidy. We liked it so much that we booked our next holiday with Geert straight away.

There were six of us in the accommodation for a week and it was one of the best Airbnbs we've all ever stayed in. The accommodation is just as beautiful as in the pictures, everything is sparkling clean and the facilities are excellent. The location is of course also a dream - both the terrace in front of the entrance door and the one behind the house have a beautiful view and you can lie wonderfully by the water and relax. The trampoline with sea view is also a highlight :) The communication was great: super fast, very friendly and we got all the information in detail in advance. This accommodation really has everything in mind and we can definitely recommend it! Only if you are afraid of spiders, you should possibly think again, because in the evening there were really a lot of larger spiders on the house. But everything has been thought of here too, there are numerous fly screens and if you are careful when ventilating, you will still have a spider-free house :)

We loved our stay with Mandy! The place was exactly as described. She gave us many local recommendations and was very accommodating and helpful. We loved being in a small secluded town. Short drives to ferry for island visiting and short drive to for restaurants other than the lovely pub in town.

We had a wonderful week. The house has all the comforts, including a very nice kitchen. The sun in the front garden was also nice, where we could have had a quiet breakfast. The location is nice and quiet, so we were really able to sleep very well. In the area we enjoyed the nature, the tranquility and the friendly people. The reception was warm and personal, even our dog Bettie received a warm welcome. All in all recommended, we will definitely come back there. Finally, I would also like to mention Dokkum, a very nice town with special shops and good restaurants. Thank you Coen and Anne (and Marianne) for this beautiful, nice week. We had a wonderful stay at the "Watervilla Friesland". This house is very tastefully decorated, you immediately feel very comfortable and the quiet location is just wonderful. Our big Thank you Tanja for your great hospitality. Thank you for the time.

We had a wonderful stay in Marc's apartment, which is modern and tastefully decorated. Everything was very clean and we felt comfortable in all rooms. We found it very convenient to have a safe parking space right in front of the house. Also great: Bakery and supermarket are within walking distance in 10 minutes. There are many excursion options around Sneek, especially the smaller towns, such as Workum, which have their own charm and are worthwhile destinations. We will be happy to come back!

Had a great time. We had beautiful weather, but the hot tub was still nice, especially for the kids. Close to the water and a lot to do nearby for those looking for.

What a gem! Truly had a wonderful stay at Jen and Robs vacation house. We enjoyed all amenities like the sauna and the whirlpool and we’re happy to make use of the fully equipped kitchen. We were 6 grown-ups and 2 under 2s and the weather was really not good. And yet we had enough space and the close by waterpark also has an indoor playground. Definitely would recommend!
