Holiday rentals with a hot tub in Fire Island

A fenced-in slice of Hamptons heaven where both dogs and humans roamed free and happy. It’s basically a resort if your resort includes wagging tails, wine within walking distance, and a private mini movie theater for when socializing gets… exhausting. Days were spent by pool , nights were hot tub therapy. 10/10 would trade city stress for this fenced paradise again.

We had a fabulous stay at this adorable cottage. It had everything we needed and more. Great spaces indoors and out to hang out, walkable to one of our favorite wineries, other wineries & restaurants close by. Appreciated having a tandem kayak to use & explore Goose Creek. Enjoyed watching birds, including Baltimore oriole parents in a nest in the backyard. Would return again. Thank you!

We loved the home and yard. Beautiful is the best description with so many seating options. The house is bright and inviting. The hosts have done a great job decorating and providing so many amenities not even listed. I would recommend this beautiful home to anyone wanting a place to relax and enjoy what is there.

A lovely cozy home!!! We were in town for a lacrosse tournament and it was so nice to come back to the house and relax after a long day on the fields- also a very well stocked kitchen to make food. A nice running/walking path at the park down the road too. Annie gave lots of recommendations and responded immediately when I reached out. An excellent home and an excellent host. Couldn’t ask for anything better!!!

Paul is a great host. This is our 2nd time staying at Paul's home and it was just as wonderful as the first time. Clean, beautiful and in a lovely town. Paul is easy to communicate with and was thoughtful throughout the whole stay. We look forward to staying at Paul's home again in the future. This home was beautiful and exactly as described. The hostess was wonderful and very responsive. The location in east hampton in a quiet and peaceful street was close to all our favorite restaurants, shops and beaches. The hot tub was so great to have in the cold and rainy days. The home is chic, comfortable and clean. We loved it and recommend it.

We had a wonderful time. The weather was perfect. The view of the water was everything and was accessible from nearly every room. The home was modern and easily accommodated our large group. Yet it was cozy and beautifully appointed with all the amenities you would ever want. It is ideal for children with every toy imaginable. There was a highchair and a pack and play for our toddler and child appropriate dishes. The kitchen was fully equipped and had 2 sinks, 2 dishwashers and 3 tables for dining. The beautiful pool and hot tub were in constant use. Mary is very thoughtful and assembled a ringed binder with important contacts and suggestions for dining, shopping and entertainment. Although there was no beach on the property there are nearby beaches. The towns of Guilford and (nearby) Madison are charming and well worth visiting. Mary was very accommodating and responded promptly to several inquiries.

Dove Haven is truly a special spot that shows that someone (Patty) cares about it a lot. The house is very well stocked and we never lacked for anything. And the collection of available umbrellas was greatly appreciated (yes, a bit of rain). Spacious hot tub (accommodates 8, nicely) is well-located on adjacent deck with beautiful view of spectacular garden. Rare to find a place where each of the five bedrooms, (with en suite or nearby bathroom), would be a master bedroom in a typical Airbnb. The master bedroom lives up to the billing with a monstrous bathroom including an inviting tub and a private porch. Public tennis courts and public pickleball courts nearby (less than a mile down West Rock Ave) were a treat. As was brunch at Bella’s Cafe (highlighted in Patty’s online notebook). Just plain terrific from beginning to end.

Our family had a very enjoyable stay! The home and surroundings were beautiful, everything was extremely clean and organized, our host was wonderful! We absolutely loved the tea ceremony! It was very educational! We will definitely stay here again when we return to New Haven!

We all loved our stay at Treetops! The pictures really cannot capture how beautifully unique this place is. The pool is lovely. The location is serene and private, yet close to many great restaurants and beaches. Dan was extremely friendly and accommodating. I recommend this place to anyone with eclectic taste looking for a peaceful getaway!
