Lots of opportunities for handsome walks and bike rides. In the immediate area "open-air museum" Sagedammen with the possibility of picnic for the whole family. The cottage is nice for day trips both to Geiranger, Loen Skylift, Briksdalen and others 10 km to Ullsheim Ski Center, miles of cross-country skiing. A little further to the Alpine facility in Stryn. Differently beautifull all year. Good lokated 1.3km from the main road, 8.3 from Stryn. There is playground, playhouse, trampoline, outdoor fireplace, waterfall with natural dam in backjard.

Egil’s home was a beautiful and comfortable haven in the middle of the most stunning scenery my family and I have ever seen. Waking up to that breathtaking view each day was really special. In spite of the constantly changing weather on the fjord in May, we were still able to enjoy sitting outside and enjoying the hot tub at the end of a day hiking. Egil provided us with so much good information and was always available to answer questions. He went out of his way to make a reservation for us at Christian Gaard for dinner, which was another unforgettable experience. We highly recommend doing this. Thanks so much Egil for everything. , We would love to return someday!

Cute, cozy cabin right on a gorgeous lake with a million dollar view. I know it's cliché but, the pictures absolutely do not do justice to what the view is actually like. Just perfect! The cabin is far enough from town to feel remote but close enough to town to take care of any grocery or dining needs.

If you are coming to Styrn, then This is your place don’t even waste your time looking for something else. It is the best cabin in have ever rented. The host was also great and helpful. I will come back and recommend it to others for sure :)

Silje's cabin on their dairy farm was wonderful! The views from the cabin are nothing short of spectacular! The cabin itself was clean, roomy enough and checked the boxes for a comfy bed and good water pressure in the shower that was easy to regulate (although the enclosure was small, like most of the Airbnb's we've stayed at in Scandinavia)... The whole vibe was private and peaceful, just keep in mind it is a working farm, with the associated aromas and equipment sounds... Fairly short drives to things to see and do near Olden/Stryn... If she's available, have her give a tour of the dairy operation--fascinating and informative! We appreciated her passion for the animals and the farm... We LOVED our stay here!
