The bright and friendly apartment is quietly located in the beautiful Rüttenscheider Mädchenviertel. The Messe Essen and the Folkwang Museum are within 5 minutes' walking distance. In the immediate vicinity, the "Rü" beckons with its diverse range of restaurants, bars and clubs – there is something for everyone. Despite the late evening hustle and bustle on the weekend on the "Rü", the studio is very quiet and you can hardly believe that you are in the middle of the action.

Bright, 33 sqm apartment, consisting of a combined living room/bedroom, kitchen, bathroom and hallway. Fully equipped and with lots of extras. For example, walk-in shower, coffee maker, dishwasher, etc. In the living-sleeping area, there is a 200 × 140 bed for 2 people. The apartment is centrally located in Essen and is also very easy to reach by public transport. It is also located directly at the A52 highway entrance and is only 20 minutes from Düsseldorf Airport.

Quiet guest room - private entrance, private bathroom

We rent our small guest room (... it is ONE room, even if Airbnb lists the living room and bedroom separately in the pictures) with private bathroom and entrance. The room has a bed 80 x 200 cm, which can be quickly widened to 160 x 200 cm. The room is "only" about 13 square meters (plus bathroom), but otherwise has everything you need for a short stay: a closet, 2 chairs, a table, fridge, the possibility to make coffee and tea... cups, plates, cutlery ...

Perfect for bicycle trips in nature. The next bus stop that takes you to the city center in roughly 10 minutes and to the Gruga in 25 min is just 4 minutes away. In this peaceful location you have everything you need, making this the perfect place for you to enjoy a relaxing holiday.

The newly renovated centrally located apartment in Essen Katernberg with free Wi-Fi is a 5-minute walk from the Zollverein World Heritage Site (9 km from Grugahalle). In our house in a small cul-de-sac (insofar as the address "Hauptstrasse" is misleading), we rent a closed 2-room apartment (sleeping/living area) on the first floor with a small kitchen and bathroom. The location is ideal for tourists, business people and trade fair visitors. Since 08/01/2025, the city of Essen has levied an accommodation tax of 5% and a maximum of €9 per night. This is included in the nightly rate.
