Townhouse holiday rentals in English Channel

We needed a 2 night stay in Bude for a family of 7. Louisa's place was ideal. Plenty of space, light and bright, on road parking, walking distance to town and beach. The property was well equipped...and had the all imprtant wifi !

Just spent the early May bank holiday weekend here to celebrate a big birthday. Beautiful house really made the weekend. Whole house is immaculate and beautifully decorated and furnished. Very cosy and warm house. Lovely decking to enjoy breakfast and a morning cuppa on and the bottom of the garden with comfy furniture for some late afternoon sun. The hosts were fantastic at communicating and provide lots of information. Short 10 mins walk to start of shops and restaurants and about 20-25 to the furthest. We enjoyed a lovely meal at the Watersedge Restaurant close by at the Greenbank Hotel and at The Ranch. Amazing views from all levels of the house out over the water. Could not fault this property and I am very fussy. Definitely book to stay here. Personal private parking right outside too. This property has everything you could possibly want or need from couples to bigger families.

Our group (2 families with kids aged 6-9) had a lovely stay. A very comfortable home, great kitchen for preparing meals and easy to drive to lots of places to visit. Hilary was very helpful and informative when we asked about options for wet weather! Kids loved the house too.

We really enjoyed our stay at Abigail's bolthole. It was perfect for me and my two children, we also enjoyed exploring Ramsgate for the first time. Thanks very much for having us.

I recently stayed for two months. The minute i walked in the door it felt like home which is just what i needed for a break coming from Australia and travelling Europe. It was warm comfortable and well stocked with essentials. When i asked for something to be fixed it was replaced quickly with a new item and when i needed some support for personal reasons they were totally accomodating. I loved being in this wonderful town and enjoyed all it had to offer within walking distance. I used the Train station to get to many destinations. Would definitely recommend staying at this Airbnb.

Had the best family New Year at Rose's. Beautiful welcoming and very cosy home. Stunning sea views from the house. Right near the shops, pubs and restaurants. Excellent communication from Rose giving you all the required information you need and more. Could not of wished for a better family break set in the most fabulous location. The house has ample space providing you with everything you need for a pleasant stay. Fresh towels, toiletries, lots of games to play, the list goes on. Would very highly recommended and we will most definitely be returning.

Charming little house, very well-located. Board games and books everywhere, for a very nice time with the family! The ground floor is indeed cool and a little wet as reported by others but not the other floors.

Our stay at Andrea and Maitland's place was fantastic! The accommodation was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed. The location was perfect, making it easy to explore the area. Communication was smooth and quick, and they were very accommodating throughout our stay. We would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting and would love to stay again in the future. A perfect Airbnb experience!

Loved our stay at Lorna Doone. Alan and Pat are perfect hosts and the house is amazing. Spotless, comfortable and in a perfect location just minutes up the hill from the centre of Watchet. We’ll definitely stay again

Celine's house is really clean and meets all the criteria of a recent and quality layout. The problem of presentation and decoration is a professional experience! The reservations expressed in other reviews underscore its originality and reinforces (positively in our case) its quaint and exotic side. The adjective "proactive" seems to have been invented to describe the relational approach that Celine established with the tenants (welcome booklet, clear and useful instructions, quick response...). The house is in a great location and is close to all amenities, a real joy!

If you're a large group then this is a great find. It's on the high street so great access to shops, pubs and restaurants, but also it's not too noisy. Beds are comfy and the showers are powerful - what more could you want!

Philippe is a very nice person . Good advice for visiting and restaurants. the accommodation was well or adult room bedding which is to be changed. waking up with the chickens and rooster in the courtyard is relaxing. i recommend the accommodation without worries . thank you for your hospitality

We had a wonderful stay at Dimitri's beautiful home in Mers-les-Bains. From the first exchanges, his kindness, availability and attention to detail gave us confidence. Throughout our stay, we felt this sincere desire to do well and offer its hosts a perfect experience. Stay was lovely home away from home. Can be a little noisy at night as it’s near some pubs and restaurants and the windows are only single glazed but these are things that cannot be changed due to location and type of building, I am used to the silence of the countryside at night so I am more aware of noise than others would be. Overall a great house and we would definitely stay again.

We had a wonderful stay in Littlehampton as a group of 7 family members spanning three generations, plus two dogs! The house was spacious and very comfortable, especially the kitchen, which had plenty of room for everyone to gather while meals were being prepared, to eat in and even play board games — definitely the heart of the home during our stay. The house was spotlessly clean, well-equipped, and felt very welcoming. The courtyard was a real highlight—a real little sun trap that gave us a lovely sheltered spot to relax, and we were especially lucky with the weather too! The location was ideal—just a short walk to the seafront and conveniently close to local amenities. Even though the parking was on-street, we had no trouble finding spaces nearby throughout our stay. All in all, a perfect base for a relaxed family getaway. We’d definitely recommend it and would love to return!

Family friendly home, nice touch with leaving the Easter eggs for the kids. Close to beach and a friendly environment. Would definitely book again

I would like to say that the house was very very clean and the linen was spotless. Bridget has attention to detail; the kitchen is stocked with essentials such as sugar, tea and the fridge also had a bottle of milk and water (very useful if one arrives late) not forgetting the little packets of biscoff; the bathroom stocked with shampoo, soap etc just like a hotel. She combines a hotel feel with a home feel very well. My son made an online order and items arrived after we had left and she went out of her way to resend it. Quick response to any issue, for example the boiler stopped working and it was fixed within a couple of hours. Very nice. We would come back

Shona has put a lot of effort into the house. There’s tonnes of amenities and everything is clearly labelled. It’s well put together, clean and tidy. The parking situation is a little tricky at times but we made it work. Beautiful views from the balcony.

Beautiful home, really well cared for and clean. Gerard was a fantastic host, even when we failed to work out the baby gate, he was incredibly helpful! Lots of amenities for us having a toddler readily available in the house including highchair, baby gate and plates etc which we have never had at another place before. Everything was in walking distance and lots of friendly neighbours on the street. Only issue was parking, but it doesn't change our 5star review as everything else exceeded expectations by a considerable amount! Absolutely perfect weekend!

We had an amazing 3-night stay at this beautiful garden shed—it was truly perfect in every way. The cabin had absolutely everything you could possibly need, from a fully equipped kitchen to cozy touches that made us feel right at home. It was spotless and clearly well taken care of. The garden was beautiful and peaceful, with birds singing all day and a serene river flowing right beside the property. It felt incredibly private and secluded—like our own little slice of nature. Inside, the cabin was warm, inviting, and super cosy. For us after 3 days of hard work at a local event, it was the perfect place to unwind. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay—highly recommend and would love to return!

Casa is brilliant. It was clean and tidy and exactly like the pictures. Check in was simple and the host was very responsive. All the information we were given prior to checking in. We had a wonderful visit and would definitely stay again.
