Holiday rentals with lake access in English Channel

Super accommodation ... beautiful house ... great layout ... with the kitchen/diner and sitting room in one big room on the middle floor the Estuary views whilst eating or relaxing are quite wonderful !

This was our second stay. Everything was as nice as we remembered from our first visit. The flat is spacious and well-appointed, the location is private and quiet, and the hosts are friendly and responsive. What more could you ask for in an AirBnB?

What a treat! It is absolutely beautiful here! It feels like you’re stepping into a movie. We loved walking around and looking at the grounds and I wish we had more time to go on all of the trails and paths that were mapped out for us. We felt right at home immediately and I can’t state enough how beautiful this space is. The beds are very comfortable and the only sounds you hear are birds chirping.

We were delighted with the house. The property's park is beautiful, well maintained, and offers a very peaceful environment close to Rennes or the exhibition centre. There are beautiful animals, especially ponies, who come to see the newcomers. The owner was very responsive and participated in the success of our brief stay. Thank you. We had a magical time here and can't recommend it highly enough. The property and surroundings are beautiful. And we appreciated how every detail and comfort had been considered. We hope to return one day soon!

What can we say, from booking our stay, to leaving after an amazing week, we truly felt at home. Kam and Bens home is beautiful throughout, there wasn’t one thing that we thought we needed or wanted that wasn’t provided for. Kam met us on arrival, earlier than we expected, and showed us around her wonderful home, all instructions in a helpful guide in the kitchen, even tide times, for trips. Great advice for our trip to Lundy, she even sent us up to date weather forecast . Kam provided us with mobile numbers if we were stuck for anything, and ensured it was ok for Ben to check the hot-tub, when we were out. Lovely touches, such as robes for getting out of the tub, were much appreciated. Superb hosts, will definitely visit again, our daughter and her partner joined us for a few days and loved every minute, lovely walk to the beach, only 10mins away, and the most amazing sunsets from the lounge and bedroom . The geographical location of this accommodation is perfect for discovering the bay of Mont Saint Michel. The house and the large garden are very well maintained. Everything was perfect, we didn't miss anything. Dominique is a very friendly, pleasant and helpful host. She told us about the surroundings very quickly, and gave us all the information we needed before and during our stay. Very attentive to our needs. We thank Dominique very much for her welcome and all her little touches that made our stay unforgettable. We felt at home and our exchanges were very friendly. We'll be happy to go back!

Accommodation decorated with great taste, everything is perfect as well as the amenities The setting is peaceful, ideal for a relaxing moment, the view of the lake is magnificent. We felt very comfortable there. Odile is a warm, caring and welcoming host I will return without hesitating!

An absolutely awesome stay!!! The place is simply magnificent: a peaceful castle, surrounded by a superb natural setting, perfect for relaxing and recharging. Carole is an exceptional host, warm, available and always gives good advice. We feel that we can really count on her when needed. Frankly, everything was there for an unforgettable time. We had a great time. The property is beautiful and close to places to visit in the Broceliande forest. The apartment is very well decorated and pleasant to live in.

Very cute studio close to the beach and the center with a very nice view. Easy access to the accommodation, very well equipped, clean and quiet. A little expensive but it was worth it. We could come back. Please note that parking can be a little complicated.

This is our second stay here, and everything went very well again! Léa is very welcoming, the accommodation is perfectly equipped, and the city is really very pretty.

Frank was the best host I’ve had so far on AirBnB, he was fast to communicate despite the large time difference from the other side of the world. The Studio was perfect and exactly what I needed for my stay in Maidenhead, would highly recommend to anyone wanting a nice, private and cosy space away from the main streets.

We had a lovely stay at Gardeners Cottage which was clean, warm and cosy. A very comfortable bed with fresh linen and towels. Set in very peaceful surroundings and my grandson loved visiting the chickens. The cottage contained everything that was needed for a comfortable stay including dishwasher and washing machine. We didn’t have the best weather during our stay so it was lovely to come back to the cottage which was warm and cosy to relax in. Being Dog friendly was the icing on the cake A lovely time was had by all

Lovely little cottage with a secure garden. The village has a fantastic little shop for everything you need and a very friendly village pub with great food.

We had a wonderful stay at the lakeside barn. The view from the barn is truly beautiful. We came with our 8 month old baby and it was a great space for her to roam around (We brought our own travel cot which the bedroom had plenty of room for). Anna was so friendly and kind. She communicated well throughout our stay. We would definitely recommend. Thank you!

Fabulous views. Ideal location to walk to beaches, whilst the water taxi was an easy cheap and fun way to land in the centre of the Plymouth Barbican. Both pubs great were great, The Bridge was a nice restaurant for a Saturday night treat. Also had breakfast and lunch at The Guardsman both good and all within a few minutes walk of the cottage.

Carey & Sarah's place was perfect for our young family. Spotlessly clean and in a great location to access Camber and Rye. Beds were very comfy and the house had everything we could need, including high chair, stair gates and playroom which made staying with small children very stressfree! We will definitely return :)

Fantastic place to stay and we’d definitely stay here again. Very clean and well stocked with amenities. The barn is on a farm which itself is lovely. Sheep and horses very friendly, as was Andrew :-).

We loved our stay! The place was beautiful, and the surroundings were peaceful. We’ve never had such a well-equipped kitchen in an Airbnb! The place is perfect if you have kids: we were provided with a cot and a high chair. We even found baby cutlery in the kitchen. The bookshelf was great for reading books to our baby as well. In addition, the recommendations we received were great, and the communication with Liz and Robert was friendly and engaging. Thank you so much for creating such a beautiful place for our stay.
