Holiday rentals with an accessible-height toilet in English Channel

We’ve visited the Barn several times. Location is really peaceful and still close to beaches and to visit friends (tip our dogs love Middleton beach that is sandy and empty at low tide and you can park in the Shrubs Lane car park). The Barn is spotless and the garden is a lovely place for an evening glass of wine. Will visit again I’m sure.

We had a most wonderful stay, the Byre was clean and very well kitted out with all the essentials to make it a home from home, the Byre was also perfectly accessible which was a high priority for us as well as being so lovely and warm. The location is very peaceful, I’d definitely recommend it.

The apartment was warm & comfortable, but has many windows which can be opened to get the breeze, plus the patio is quiet & nice to sit out on. The off street parking was very convenient. A 2nd toilet is always useful. It's within walking distance from great pubs & restaurants. The main smart Sony TV in the lounge is quite a few years old & therefore doesn't have many apps...Netflix, YouTube & BBC iPlayer were the only ones that are relevant...I tried to add ITVX & some others, but there is no way to do this. Also, you can't properly cast to this TV with a phone or tablet as the TV doesn't support this feature. You simply have the basic Freeview channels for live TV. The hot water pressure is very strong, but as I like a long shower, the hot water didn't quite last as long as I'd hoped & I had to have much shorter showers on the remaining days here. A negative! The house was far bigger than we expected, which is always welcome. Not the cheapest, but fair value for money.

This is a lovely Air BnB that we really enjoyed. The rooms were comfortable and clean, the kitchen well-equipped, and the easy walk to the beach and canal all very manageable with our large group of children! We even got into the sea! We drove to Dover Castle for a brilliant day out and did the same going to Canterbury, both terrific expeditions. Lots more to do in the area. The hosts were very good at communicating with us when we needed anything, even though it was the Easter weekend, and the instructions for the home are very clearly laid out. Good wifi, lovely garden, and all ideal for our holiday!

The House is in a great location and only a short walk from the train station and some of Whitstables best restaurants. All the beds were comfortable and had good quality towels and linen. There were only 3 of us so we had plenty of room but I think it would have felt crowded with 6 of us. The stairs up to the first floor were steep and probably not suitable for young children or anyone with mobility issues. Easterly is a responsive host and gave us some great recommendations. The house had everything we needed and we felt at home right away. I’d recommend this property and would love to stay here again if I come back to Whitstable.

We had a wonderful holiday at Mikal‘s cottage. Everything was clean, we kitchen had everything we needed and we could use the garden everytime we wanted to. Mikal was a very friendly host who answered all our questions as quick as possible. The street can be a little loud at night, but it didn‘t bother us or the children at all. Thank you for having us!

Johann was a very welcoming and informative host. the property was spotlessly clean and furnishings of a very high quality. The pool was a nice temperature at 28 degrees, the garden, terrace and bbq area all very tasteful and well done. Beautiful region with high cliffs, great for walks and 5 lovely sandy beaches (exposed at low tide). Our favourite beach was Plage Bonepart. lovely little restaurants at Plage Brehac and Plage Palu. a Carrefour supermarket 2 mins away for all ypur needs. A superb house and great area. Highly recommend

We stayed at "TyCosyMarie" for 10 days and had a wonderful time. To welcome us, a sweet surprise was ready for us and a cider in the fridge was cold. We felt welcome right away. In the cottage, cozy evenings in front of the fireplace are guaranteed, the kitchen invites you to cook and in the bedroom we were able to sleep comfortably. The garden also invites you to linger. We recommend enjoying an afternoon coffee in the middle of the birdsong. Marie welcomed us very warmly and was always quickly accessible, very helpful and uncomplicated. She had great tips for things to do for us. We did lots of great local hikes with stunning views. Well worth a trip!

We were very comfortable at Martine and Jean-Yves' house. Martine was very friendly and treated us very well. The house is very conveniently located 14 km from Dinan. Ideal for visiting St Malo, Cancale or Mont Saint-Michel. We had a great time. It's a great place to stay at. Thank you very much Martine.

We stayed at this place for 2 nights. Accommodation is large , very well located, right in the city center in a short walk to the beach. Easy to find. Accommodation is very clean, there is everything you need even for a long stay. I would highly recommend it. Thank you so much for a great stay. We'll be happy to go back.

We had such a lovely stay! The flat is in a great location so you can easily walk to all of the amenities, bars and restaurants in Kingsbridge. We really appreciated the little touches such as the beers on arrival and great coffee machine.

Superb location in the heart of Honfleur! It was a bit exciting in the narrow street, but we had found everything quickly. Free parking 5 minutes from the apartment. Marc-Antoine couldn't speak English very well, and we didn't speak French very well, but together we got out. Really a top host and definitely got value for our money! I can recommend it to everyone. The apartment has all the comforts and you get the condition for free (50 narrow steps on an ancient spiral staircase) haha ;)

My mom and I spent a very pleasant week in this 2 room set up for people with limited mobility. The accommodation is very well located 50 meters from the beach of Ver and there are local shops in the area. Celine and Olivier are very respectful and remain available and attentive to her hosts For my part, I will be happy to renew the experience in this haven of peace called l 'étoile de ver Alexandre

We had a lovely weekend break at Ally's gorgeous flat. The views were breathtaking - we ate every meal looking out over the sea. Clean, comfortable, and cosy - we felt right at home. Forgot we were in the U.K.!

The location is perfect in Trouville facing the sea. The apartment is very bright and the views are just exceptional. We had a problem at check-in, which, although independent of our host, was settled very elegantly and confidently by this one. Thank you so much for that.

We found Malcolm and Delia’s place easily. The welcome pack of tea, coffee, milk etc was most welcome. The flat was spotlessly clean and there was plenty of space in the bedroom to keep our luggage. Malcolm suggested a few places for us to visit which we did and we had an enjoyable stay.

A lovely, well kept and spacious apartment, ideal for a long weekend. Peaceful and cosy for winter breaks, with outside space for summer too. With quality towels, toiletries and bedding for extra comfort. Perfectly located, just a short walk from St Leonard's Warrior Square train station, close to the cafes and vintage stores on Norman Road and King's Road - and just a few minutes down to the Hastings seafront. Very handy to be able to store our bags securely in the ground floor storage space between check out and our train departure too.

We had a great short stay at Zinc 9. The appartment was exactly what we needed, and actually felt much bigger than the photos. It had everything we needed and was very handy to have the parking attached as well. The appartment is in a great location and has a large veranda overlooking the golf-course and out to sea and the location was perfect, quiet whilst we were there but a short walk to Fistral beach one way and a few minutes to the town and harbour the other.

Debi's place is lovely and full of light, and has that lovely charm we seek in seaside stays. So close to the beach, the shops, the station, easy to access everything you'd need from a stay in St Leaonards. Very happy kids, so happy mum and dad.

We had a pleasant stay with the family. Françoise is welcoming and proactive in the exchanges. It was perfect.

Joe’s place was very convenient located. Despite its great location it was very quiet for sleeping. Joe was also very accommodating , letting us check in and out at convenient times. We highly recommend this place.
