Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Engelberg

Our family needed some rest and relaxation in nature with hiking trails right outside our door step. We got exactly that! What a beautiful cabin situated in the middle of the mountains at 1000m. The village of Isenthal was so picturesque. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. We loved our stay and wished it could have been longer. Thank you for sharing your beautiful cabin with our family!

This place is amazing. The property is big with all the amenities and a great garden. The 3 bathrooms make the stay very convenient. It is located very close to the lake and lucerne city center. The owner, Giuseppe, is friendly, provided all needed instructions and set up the cot for us. There is also one parking spot available. Definitely a great stay in Lucerne.

Stayed for a week in May with our 3 teenage kids, the whole family enjoyed the breathtaking views, the traditional Swiss feel, lots of local adventures We will all miss the sounds of the cow bells 😍 already planning a winter trip back, Nicole was a wonderful host and we couldn’t have wished for more

Sehr schönes Haus vor toller Kulisse. Beat und Familie waren unglaublich freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Wetter war leider nicht auf unserer Seite, dafür haben wir den Hotpot und die Feuerstelle vor dem Haus umso ausgiebiger genutzt. Wir können den Aufenthalt bei Beat nur jedem empfehlen.

Yvonne communicated with us often. Carmen met us at the house and explained everything about the house and area to us. We absolutely loved the house on 3 levels and amazing views from all 3 levels. The spa tub, sauna, and cold plunge were the icing on the cake. There is so much to do in Vitznau/Mt Rigi Spa/Ferry around the lake, and so much more. We will stay here again, soon!

Maybe the most beautiful Airbnb we’ve ever been in. Breathtaking view of the surrounding valleys and mountains. The Jacuzzi is of course a highlight but the most important one was on our opinion the host. Very helpful and friendly.

I want to first Thank you Anouk for being a great host. I don’t have the words to describe the place it is more like a piece of Heaven with the stunning view on the lake. We felt right at home from the start. The chalet was spotless clean with everything you need or think might need. We really enjoyed every single detail of it. We spent two weeks at Brigitte and Sepp's place while visiting family in Switzerland. I wish I could give more than 5 stars. We absolutely loved it. This has been a most amazing and wonderful experience. Brigitte and Sepp are kind, wonderful people and went above and beyond to make our stay a great experience. I can wholeheartedly recommend a stay at Brigitte and Sepp's. The apartment is upstairs with a separate entrance, and has a full kitchen and three bedrooms. It was spotlessly clean, nicely decorated and had everything and more than we needed for our stay. The nearby villages of Sattel and Steinerberg have all the necessities for daily live, i.e. small grocery stores, bakeries, banks, gas stations, restaurants. The town of Schwyz is about 20 minutes away and has bigger shopping centers and more amenities.

Such a beautiful and quiet place to stay in. The apt was absolutely charming, comfortable, and spacious! You also get a discount going up a gondola that's right next door! I think my only complaint is that the shower was a little claustrophobic. Could help if there's a glass door rather than a curtain. But other than that, it was an amazing stay!

Kathi’s place is very cosy and homely. The apartment has everything you might need and more with lots of space inside and nice outside area for sitting in the sun and enjoying the lovely surrounding areas. Lots of walks and bike trails in the area. We absolutely loved the fireplace! Really enjoyed staying here, highly recommend :)

Magnifique Airbnb spacieux et joliment décoré. Susanne et Marteen mettent tout en œuvre pour que l on se sente comme à la maison. Les extérieurs sont magnifiques mais nous ne sommes pas restés assez longtemps pour en profiter. Nous reviendrons sans doute à l occasion d un futur séjour dans cette belle région.

Wir haben uns in der Wohnung sehr wohl gefühlt. Wunderbar waren der b Blick auf den See, der eigene Gartenbereich und insgesamt das historische Gebäude!

We absolutely loved staying at Janine’s Airbnb. As a host, she responded immediately to messages. Directions for access were clear and concise. When we got inside the entire home is spotless with regard to cleanliness. It’s clear that she goes to great lengths to provide a clean stay. We did not find that it was cluttered, and it had everything we needed to prepare meals at home. Most importantly, this Airbnb is beautiful. The location is truly amazing. When you walk out onto the deck you’re greeted with giant mountains and a view of the entire landscape. You’re a short bus ride to downtown or a scenic walk. If you are planning on staying in Grindelwald and this Airbnb is available, book it right away before someone else does. 5 stars from us.

Such a beautiful place in an equally beautiful location. For those who wish to experience the Swiss country side and yet be fairly close enough to cover all the main attractions of the region, look no further. Stayed 5 nights with my family with 2 kids, and everyday was memorable. The house layout is made for the view, and it’s simply unforgettable.. all the basics are in place and more, no complaints there whatsoever.. in fact one would be pleasantly surprised coming here, for the photos just cannot do justice to what one feels here.. keywords: spacious, comfortable, magical, and beautiful. the hosts and manager were wonderful too.. always ready to help with whatever u need may it be home related or otherwise.. thank you for the amazing experience.. Het huisje was prachtig! Ideaal voor de skiërs die direct vanuit huis willen skiën. Huis was heel proper! Esther was heel behulpzaam en je kan op haar zeker rekenen!

Wir haben die Ostertage als Familie, 7 Erwachsene, in der Retreat Lodge Schürmatt verbracht. Von Beginn weg waren wir begeistert von der Einrichtung, der Lage, der Ausstattung. Alles, wirklich Alles, war vorhanden. Jeden Tag haben wir gemeinsam gekocht und alles Zubehör war vorhanden und in sehr gutem Zustand. Die Aussicht in die Schweizer Alpen, zu verschiedenen Tageszeiten und Wetterlagen, ist wunderschön. Die kreisenden, rufenden Milane in der Luft ein faszinierendes Schauspiel für Aug und Ohr. Der Garten lädt zum Verweilen und Geniessen ein. Ob Sonne oder Schatten-Platz, für jeden hat es ein hübsches Plätzli dabei mit den passenden Gartenmöbeln. Auch im Haus findet jeder (s)einen Lieblingsplatz zum Wohlfühlen, Ausruhen, Lesen, Spielen, Geniessen. Uns allen hat es ausgezeichnet gefallen. Gerne kommen wir wieder. Danke, Vinzenz!

We absolutely loved our stay! The location right by the Rigi Cog station made it easy to get up and down the mountain. The wood-fired hot tub made for a perfect spot to soak up the view each evening. Our hosts provided wonderful information prior-to and during our stay. Highly recommend!

We loved our stay here. The house was incredible, as pictured with enough room for our party of 8 including 5 adults, 1 teen, 1 toddler, and 1 baby. The ability to request a pack and play for infant and toys for my toddler was a game changer. The space was thoughtful and enough room for everyone to relax. The town is very quiet and sweet. You can easily walk to Migros and local restaurants. It was perfect for day trips to Thun, Lucerne, Bern, Zurich. It was the perfect landing spot for our group. Laundry is always a plus! Just a couple notes if you have kiddos and plan to do all public transportation, (not a big deal if you have a car but we didn't want to travel with car seats): the home is all tile throughout, not a lot of space to roll around if you have crawling babe etc. The house was absolutely walkable with a stroller from bus stations but don't follow google maps on the 345 bus stop, it'll take a shortcut up to the house that is all stairs. Take the 346 bus instead.

Ein Traum, dieses kleine Chalet. Komfort, Ausblick, Lage - alles herrlich. Ein Paradies für Bergwanderfreunde, die ihre Ruhe wollen. Wir kommen wieder!

Wunderschöne, idyllische Lage mit traumhaftem Panorama und absoluter Ruhe. Das gemütliche Ambiente hat uns sehr gefallen. Sara war stets erreichbar und hat bei allen Fragen sehr schnell und unkompliziert geholfen. Sehr empfehlenswert!
