Michelle's place was lovely, giving a very homely and intiment feel at the same time. Great location and ideal being close to Rutland Water, as well as being a short drive to Oakham and Stamford nearby.

Ruth's place was the perfect spot for our weekend away. Great location, easy access to the A1, pub next door and several walks on the doorstep. The annexe is very well equipped and Ruth has thought of all the extras that make the stay a real home from home and great if you've forgotten to bring anything. The private garden is lovely, even in January and a wonderful spot to watch the birds come and go. Ruth's breakfast supplies are generous and we loved how she checked in with us beforehand to find out our preferences. A fabulous find!

We were attending a wedding at Rutland water and reception at the Barnsdale. This place is only 7 mins away and was perfect for our daily stay of 3 Adults. Julie made us feel welcome and had also provided so sampler products in the kitchen for us. Which was lovely. The check in is 3pm but after explaining we had to be at the wedding by 12:30 Julie arranged that we could check in at 11 am so we could freshen up and get changed after the drive up. I stayed with my wife, daughter and son, we had a wonderful time, we walked everywhere locally. Collyweston is a great location, it is near to Rutland Water, Stamford, Burleigh Hall and a number of beautiful villages and attractions. The cottage is peaceful and quiet directly opposite the lovely local church. We couldn't have asked for a better location or a lovelier cottage. We will definitely return as we have much more to see.
