Beachfront holiday rental in Dunbar

Great cottage, very well kitted out, lovely touches and the previous reviews on the comfiness of the beds was very accurate. We managed to sit out for breakfast in the beautiful garden. Great location, easy to get around. Would recommend a walk down to Pan Ha and some food in the Harbour masters cafe ( book first) We discovered that we had lost the front door key at 9pm on Friday night. Response was so quick it was so appreciated. We had tired kids and just wanted to go back to the house. We got a replacement key within 20 mins! If they will have us back we would definitely book again 😁

Amazing amazing place to stay, we absolutely loved it! The beach is so wonderful to walk on and swim in, and Alex and Dan’s place was so welcoming and cozy! And Alex and Dan are very kind and responsive!

This was our first visit to Berwick and it was far more beautiful than we had expected. The accomodation is very centrally located with an easy walk to several excellent restaurants and more importantly to some wonderful walking routes. The property is warm and cosy with loads of charm and character and is very well equipped. We felt very comfortable as if we were in our own home and would definitely book a return visit as we still have lots of things on our to do list!

Fantastic stay at Ian’s place in Amble, amazing location for everything in Northumberland as well as plenty of nice cafes and restaurants in Amble. Super property for couple or families as well we’re with lots of games and children’s books as well as all the amenities you could need for a long or short stay. Would happily stay here again if we were holidaying in the north east of England again.

Beautiful property in a stunning seafront location. The cottage had all the amenities we needed with a wonderful view of the sea. Nigel and Jane were very welcoming and recommended a bistro in Amble, Jaspers which was one of the best meals we have had in a long time.

We stayed in Donald’s beautiful cottage for 5 nights. The apartment is very well equipped, clean and spacious. Beautiful location overlooking the sea, nice pub across the road, easy access to Edinburgh city centre by bus. No problem with parking. 5 star experience overall. Would definitely stay again!

Our stay at the Crows nest was absolutely fine, the location being just by the sea front was great and our daughter absolutely loved it. I would say the pots and pans/ kitchen utensils need updating. There wasn’t much to work with and a lot of the utensils were blunt, chipped or cheap/flimsy which made cooking difficult as we did eat in some nights with having a small child. David was a great host and very helpful, he made sure a high chair and bed barrier was in place when we got that which was really lovely. The location was also fine, we would of liked more to do but we were able to go off for the day and have great days out to places near by. With the apartment being on the top floor there was a lot of activity with the seagulls, they like to be on the roofs making a lot of noise and were very loud overnight on the first night but we soon got used to them and that’s something no one can control. Thank for our stay, we enjoyed it!

Lovely, self contained space. Has everything you need including hair dryer and straighteners. A very comfortable bed and great water pressure in the shower. Very cosy when it dropped cold in the evening.

Thanks to Deyan, we had a smooth check in. The cabin would have been impossible to find without Deyan's clear instructions. The place was squeaky clean and everyone loved it. We did wish we could cut out some plans from our holiday to stay there for a few more days. Absolutely worth the money

Stay at David’s place was great! The area was very close by to the beach. Close to Edinburgh as well so was able to do day trips there. There is plenty to do in the resort as well. The rooms were slightly smaller than expected but didn’t affect us too much.

Truly amazing views, exceeding our expectations. Fun and friendly site and space for our grandson too. Perfect host and a simply special place for a total break away from the city noise. Thank You ⭐️

Maggie and her husband were great hosts, we didn't get to meet Maggie, but her husband was a great gentleman and helpful, and we had a lovely conversation with him during check-in. Lovely little home with plenty of space and seating in the living room and the dining area. Smart TV's in almost every room which is lovely. plenty of sunshine and natural light all around. We did check-in on a pretty short notice, Maggie and her husband were responsive and the check-in process was fast. Would definitely recommend and will book again in the future.

We had a wonderful stay at Mary’s cosy holiday caravan! From the moment we arrived, it truly felt like a home away from home. The caravan was spotlessly clean, comfortable, and stocked with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. A special thank you to Mary for being such an attentive and thoughtful host—especially for quickly refilling the gas cylinders when needed. It made such a difference and showed how much she genuinely cares about her guests’ comfort. Mary, you’re the best host we’ve ever had 😀, and we’d absolutely love to visit again. Highly recommended! Fab little stay in a lovely little caravan, kids and dogs had a blast. Caravan is a bit run down as described but still clean and we had a lovely time. Everything was so easy and we even got a late check out which we really appreciated. Thanks Malcolm

We stayed here to watch family members doing the Edinburgh marathon and it was absolutely perfect for what we needed and location-wise. The children loved the pool and playground and proximity to the beach was ideal. The caravan was cosy and had everything we needed! Thanks so much!

We booked this cottage because we were intrigued at all the 5 star reviews and we were not disappointed. A beautiful secluded location right by the sea and very peaceful, just what we were after. It was such a delight waking up to the sound of the birds every morning and opening the door to find the sea right there on the doorstep. The cottage is in a small row of fishermen’s cottages but we hardly saw anyone else the whole time we were there. A magical week all round, thank you Debra and Stuart.

It is a lovely warm and cosy apartment which we very much enjoyed to stay in with our two children (aged 7 and 8 years). I ran along the beach every morning before sunrise and returned refreshed and ready to go. We enjoyed breakfast together every morning in the picnic bench style nook in the kitchen. Living room gets a lot of light during the day and very cosy in the evenings. It is a first floor apartment accessed from the side of the building. A great choice for North Berwick.

This place was even nicer than the photos! Nicola left a thoughtful guide book to the space, as well as a list of recommendations for coffee, food, etc. often those guides are really out of date but this felt really thoughtful and current! The home feels like an art gallery, with historic details and gorgeous design elements. I would recommend it to any kind of traveller! Located right in the Main Street and close to the 43 bus into Edinburgh. A perfect stay!

We had an outstanding 3-week stay at Bass Rock Beachside Flat! Michael was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our visit. The apartment exceeded all expectations - spotlessly clean, perfectly equipped with everything we needed, and absolutely breathtaking views of the Firth of Forth and iconic Bass Rock. The peaceful beachside location was ideal for exploring charming North Berwick while offering a tranquil retreat each evening. Comfortable furnishings, excellent kitchen amenities, reliable WiFi, and Michael's exceptional attention to detail made this truly unforgettable. The apartment proved perfect for our extended stay with convenient access to beaches, town center, and Edinburgh day trips. We're already planning our return visit to this gem.
