Beachfront holiday rental in East Lothian

Caron has created the perfect intimate, seaside hideaway that was such a dream to finish our trip to Scotland with. One of the top Airbnbs we have ever stayed in! Such peaceful and cozy vibes with a quaint fire and beach access. Caron was also wonderful with offering an earlier check in and giving local recommendations. Would highly recommend and hope my husband and I can stay here again in the future!

Amazing amazing place to stay, we absolutely loved it! The beach is so wonderful to walk on and swim in, and Alex and Dan’s place was so welcoming and cozy! And Alex and Dan are very kind and responsive!

Great location, with easy parking in front of the property. It’s pay and display before 17:00. Scott was super helpful and friendly. With responses super quick. Check in was easy with a lock box. The place is stunning. The photos really didn’t do it justice. Super homey. The location is super nice right on the beach and just a short walk to a shop if anything needed. Would 100% recommend.

Wonderfull few days away at st Abbs beautiful place for walking and relaxing. Paul was very friendly check in and out was easy no issues. Lovely little find would love to come back in the future.

We stayed in Donald’s beautiful cottage for 5 nights. The apartment is very well equipped, clean and spacious. Beautiful location overlooking the sea, nice pub across the road, easy access to Edinburgh city centre by bus. No problem with parking. 5 star experience overall. Would definitely stay again!

Extraordinary accommodation with magnificent view and in a beautiful location loaded with charm.

Had a wonderful stay for a couple of nights. Helen and Nigel were perfect hosts. Lovely location and very quiet at night. Plenty parking right outside the accommodation. A lovely comfy king size bed, good shower and the kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. As we had our dog with us, the enclosed, sheltered courtyard garden was a plus. This was perfect for us and thoroughly recommend.

The location is beautiful with views down the coast to Lindisfarne from the main bedroom, and a very quiet beach just 10 mins walk. The pictures don't do the place justice - the rooms are huge and well appointed. A great location for a few days enjoying the beauty of North Northumberland

Thanks to Deyan, we had a smooth check in. The cabin would have been impossible to find without Deyan's clear instructions. The place was squeaky clean and everyone loved it. We did wish we could cut out some plans from our holiday to stay there for a few more days. Absolutely worth the money

Fantastic caravan with everything you need for a great holiday. Even had a welcome gift and a few additions to keep the little ones entertained. Caravan feels brand new and has all amenities you could need. Right on the seafront and was perfect Edinburgh marathon weekend as the marathon runs past the front of the park twice. Would highly recommend!

Truly amazing views, exceeding our expectations. Fun and friendly site and space for our grandson too. Perfect host and a simply special place for a total break away from the city noise. Thank You ⭐️

Maggie and her husband were great hosts, we didn't get to meet Maggie, but her husband was a great gentleman and helpful, and we had a lovely conversation with him during check-in. Lovely little home with plenty of space and seating in the living room and the dining area. Smart TV's in almost every room which is lovely. plenty of sunshine and natural light all around. We did check-in on a pretty short notice, Maggie and her husband were responsive and the check-in process was fast. Would definitely recommend and will book again in the future.

Place was spotless and lovely decor throughout nothing a miss beautiful and felt relaxed and at home. G was very helpful, prompt responses to any questions/queries.

I spent nearly four months in Wendy's accommodation. I had a great time there! The apartment itself offers great views, and the room is very comfortable. It is easily accessible by bus and has a good connection to the city centre and main University Campus, as well as being close to a big supermarket and the beach. Being on the outskirts of the city and by the sea, it made it very easy to find peace, walking along the beach or visiting my personal favourite place, Newhailes Estate. For those coming to study here: the bus connection to the University of Edinburgh's King's Buildings is not great, especially on the way back, and if you'll have to be there a lot I'd recommend getting a bicycle, which is about twice as fast. Wendy is a very friendly host, who is usually not home during the day but if you run into her and she has time she will be open for a chat - for example sharing stories or music. She loves baking, and might leave something she made in the fridge for you!

We stayed here for the Edinburgh Marathon weekend and it was perfect for us. The caravan was everything we could have wished for and so well stocked with the necessary essentials like towels, toilet roll etc etc. For our young family we were in the perfect location, with lots of things to do on site and we felt well connected to Edinburgh by bus and a short drive to a train station too. For the marathon, we were in the best location to watch and cheer on the participants - which isn't always fun with little children in tow, but with the caravan sites amenities we had plenty to do and place to shelter when the rain fell. Sam was the perfect host, providing us with great communication before our stay and always quick to respond to our messages. If we are fortunate to return to Edinburgh, we would certainly stay here again.

Perfect for what we needed it for! Spacious and clean! Just one to note- no WIFI and signal was a bit spotty at times! Also the on site facilities such as swimming pool, require you to pay for a weekly pass to use! Apart from that was a great place to stop, and was perfect for our intended use!

Spacious house with character and street parking opposite the sea. Half hour drive to Edinburgh, slightly longer on the bus. Recommended.

James’ accommodation was spotlessly clean and offered excellent value for money. As we were there for a golf tour, we didn’t utilise any of the on site amenities so can’t comment on them. He ensured we were aware of local road closures in case it affected any of our golf plans on the day of the Edinburgh Marathon, which was appreciated. We would definitely book again if returning to the area.

Excellent accommodation in a great setting. Golf and sea view from the outside area. Photographs don’t do it justice. It is a spacious apartment. Well equipped small kitchen area . Comfortable seating. Host was helpful in answering our questions about local recommendations. I would highly recommend this accommodation.

The Boat Shore Cottage is a gem of a place! Fabulous position right on the shore. Compact, clean and cosy. Hannah is the perfect host, friendly and very kind, who went above and beyond for us, making us feel so welcome. Great location with easy access by train/bus to Edinburgh city centre yet feels a place apart, a friendly and quiet family seaside haven. Perfect! Thanks so much Hannah!
