Cosy Hares lodge in the Tamar Valley

Hares Lodge is situated at the bottom of our farm road, giving uninterrupted views down the Tamar Valley and the river Tamar and on to Plymouth Sound. We are near the historic town of Tavistock, national trust house Cotehele, and of course Dartmoor National park which can be seen from the Lodge. We are five minutes away, by car, from the village train station which takes you into the historic maritime town of Plymouth. The Eden project is 1.5 hours away, and the beaches 30 minutes away.

We are half an hour away from Plymouth ideal for shopping and many attractions Tavistock is a beautiful old market town only 15 minutes drive The Tamar Trails centre has lots of out door fun things to-do as well as lovely walks
