Holiday rentals with a patio in Douro River

Excellent property in a prime location. Easy access to all major sites within walking distance, and a very convenient parking lot right next door. We have stayed in several different apartments in Porto, but this one felt like a much more authentic experience and not a cookie cutter remodel like many other listings. Highly recommend this stay for anyone visiting Porto.

This place is beautiful! Right in the heart of the older part of town (where you want to be). It’s walkable to almost everything! And the hosts were incredibly helpful. I even called them at one point because I couldn’t find parking- and they guided me to safe affordable parking for the duration of our stay. Fantastic. One of the best places we stayed while in Portugal. The views were amazing. Exactly what we needed before we left Portugal. Thank you again!

We had a great time here! The space is small but very clean, cute and has everything you need. The balcony was great and we enjoyed several mornings sipping coffee outside. Daniel was very communicative, responsive and helpful. Highly recommend staying here. Location was also perfect and in walking distance of the Ribeira!

Awesome hosts - super accommodating

Pedro’s place is absolutely stunning – the interior is beautiful, the location was ideal, and the roof terrace really made our trip feel special 🤍 The only downside was the check-in experience. Even though we were told check-in was from 3pm, and I let Pedro know multiple times that we’d be arriving around 6, we didn’t get there until 7 after a long and tiring travel day – only to be greeted on opening the door by one of the owners and a workman who were still in the apartment finishing up some work. They told us they’d been there since 5pm and weren’t sure when we were arriving so decided to go ahead anyway, which felt frustrating.. and awkward after the journey. They stayed for another hour after our arrival, which wasn’t ideal when all we wanted to do was relax. That aside, once we properly settled in, we loved our stay – really felt like home:) the space and location really are amazing & the free storage for our bags after checkout was so so helpful & a lovely touch <3 thanks

Fabio's place is recently renovated (as of June 2025) and a beautiful space. We did not cook but the kitchen appeared well-stocked. Space was spotlessly clean. The shower was hot and with good pressure. The apartment is centrally located in walking distance from all the main attractions. It is probably a 25-30 minute walk to the other side of the river and the Port Wine cellars, but that is the furthest point from the apartment that we needed to go. There are lots of restaurants right around the apartment within a 5 minute walk. The Clerigos tower is 10 minutes by foot. The main cathedral is about 20 minutes by foot. Among the restaurants, we really enjoyed Mare by Meia-Nau. It just recently opened and has a good (albeit minimal) seafood menu. The "Arroz de Marisco" was excellent. We arrived by train at the Porto-Campanha station. It is a 15 minutes cab ride from there to the apartment. Fabio was a great host (fast clear responses) and accommodated our late checkout.

Chic and very clean apartment above the rooftops of Porto. Great little balcony with seating and table to comfortably have breakfast or drink a glass of wine in the evening.

The view from this place is perfect. You can see all of west Porto. Easy walkover the bridge to Porto. Modern place. Good facilities.

This is a very special place with beauty everywhere you look including the architecture of the house utilising the natural materials of the region to blend into the landscape. Francisca cooked us a delicious three course meal including wine, delivered on a tray on our first night what a treat ! On Francisca’s recommendation we had a very authentic wine and food tour with Bambuti Tours we were overwhelmed with Portugal hospitality for the day and Viewed some amazing scenery, a great way to explore the valley. Casa Do Largo is situated in some of the most beautiful scenery in the valley and we enjoyed a whole day there , with a walk to the beautiful river first then a day enjoying the pool and the most comfortable home. This has been our favourite spot in Portugal and we would highly recommended you book it for at least 3 nights.

The view here is incomparable! The views over the Duoro River are amazing. It’s so close to wineries and winery tours too. There’s a supermarket close by with all you’ll need. It was hot the day we arrived and the pool overlooking the valley was pristine and oh so refreshing! Our host did a great job of communicating and made us feel right at home. I could have stayed here a lot longer!

This was one of the most breathtaking views I’ve ever had at an Airbnb. The scenery was stunning, and the setting felt wonderfully secluded yet still just 15 minutes from the nearest supermarket (via a charming, winding road). The house was very comfortable and included a lovely pool — a perfect spot to unwind and take in the beauty around. Highly recommended for a peaceful getaway.

The contact with Mario was very easy and direct. He gave all kinds of tips in advance and a good description of how to get in. If you are looking for a busy environment with a lot of entertainment, you are clearly not looking for such a place. However, if you are looking for a nice place to relax and want to explore the Spanish hinterland, it is ideal. Everything is as mentioned, it is sparkling clean and even some extras are offered. I was only here for one night, because I was in transit, but it is ideal to unwind. I would highly recommend it!

Mario and Cila’s home was one of the most beautiful I have stayed out. The house was an old olive oil mill, converted into a modern paradise. They thoughtfully incorporated the property’s history into the renovation. The home is beautiful but the grounds are next level! There is a running stream running along side and under the house with lush grounds and a wonderful pool. There is also a walking path to a little park with a waterfall! Super peaceful property. If you are looking for a getaway, look no further! Mario and Cila are super kind, gracious hosts! They welcomed us themselves and proactively provided tips and recommendations. Super appreciative of their hospitality.

WOW!!!!! This Airbnb is more beautiful than you can ever imagine!! The location is out of your childhood dreams with horses and views of the mountains. The flower garden was stunning and made the location feel so tropical and like we were in an oasis of our own. The host was very helpful and friendly, providing us with local recommendations and was very responsive. We will definitely be back to this dream Airbnb thank you for having us x

Really charming stay. The wooden cottage is cared for in detail, with great care and with everything you need to enjoy it to the fullest. The outdoor space is amazing, perfect for relaxing, and the large windows allow a lot of natural light to enter, which makes everything even more cozy. Definitely a wonderful experience. Thanks to Samuel for being attentive at all times and making the stay even more special. Totally recommended!

Ricardo has been responsive since the original booking months ago. The apartment was very clean, beds were comfortable, apartment was quiet. He met us there to give the instructions in person and was quick to respond for any needs. This place is highly recommended!

The apartment was really nice and spacious with a big balcony where we enjoyed the sun. The kitchen was also well equipped with the essentials. Also a big plus was a private parking spot in the garage. Paula and her team were very responsive and helpful. We had a great stay!

An apartment with an unbeatable location in a wonderful neighborhood. The apartment is cozy, quiet and has a very friendly doorman available to answer any questions. It is an interior apartment, which gives you great peace of mind and is very well lit, so you do not miss an outside view at all. I have to mention that the shower has perfect pressure, something that is not usually common in apartments and that is greatly appreciated. Everything was clean and tidy. I was very grateful that they allowed me to leave my things several hours before check-in time without any problems. I loved everything and I'd love to come back. I have no complaints, on the contrary!

Joao was a super great host, very helpful and very flexible on check in which he met us personally to give us a walk through of everything. Very responsive and the place was perfect with a little garden to have coffee in the morning. Great location and enough provisions for our short stay. Highly recommend!

Excellent location and comfortable apartment - we stayed 3 nights, and it is within walking distance of many sights and restaurants, but remarkably quiet given where it is. A small balcony overlooks an interior courtyard. There is a coffee machine/electric kettle for tea, and a laundromat around the corner. Highly recommend.

We really enjoyed staying at Eva’s place! It was very hot outside but the fans and large windows circulated the air so well we were very comfortable! The location is easily walkable to the old town and two wineries. The apartment was fully equipped with everything we needed. Most importantly Eva was very strand answered my questions almost immediately! Would definitely recommend this listing!! 5 star !!!!

As Cristobal already mentions, it is a small apartment, 25m2, but it is very comfortable and very charming, that is always a plus, and nothing is missing, it has excellent light and is located in a place with fantastic views that can be enjoyed from a spectacular terrace. A highly recommended and quiet place. Cristobal was also a great host. Always trying to make your stay at home the best possible.
