Perfect stay!

Amazing location with incredible views. Beautiful property with great interior design and well chosen artwork, sympathetic to the original school. Thanks to Tania and Carla for the care and attention and for the outstanding breakfast each day. And for doing a shop for us on the first day before our arrival. We would definitely recommend the chef at home meal. Great food and service by the guys with traditional Portuguese dishes on offer. Fantastic stay; we didn’t want to leave….ever! Outstanding! Thanks All.

We had a lovely stay enjoying Coimbra. The comfort of the apartment and the great breakfast Eduardo thoughtfully placed in the refrigerator made we feel like home! The freshly baked breads were highly appreciated! My husband and I already talked about coming back to Coimbra and staying here again!

Rosa's is a really nice place, very clean, well equipped and peaceful. A few minutes drive from the motorway in a quiet village, and ideal for us for an overnight stop. But also close to Salamanca and the hills to the south, if we'd had more time to explore. We'd definitely stay again.

Spacious, clean apartment, nothing missing. Feel at home. Very welcoming, helpful, friendly hosts. In small quiet village, not far from Douro, and 20 minutes from Porto by car.

This has probably been the been AirBnB I have ever stayed in. The new house built on top of an ancient mill is really special and very welcoming with great attention to detail, the host was extremely welcoming and attentive to our requests and the location of the house allowed both for sightseeing in Guimaraes and Braga, as well as for excursions to the mountains and the sea side. We stayed for a week and the longer we stayed the more we appreciated our living environment in the middle of a flowing river stream.

This is a very special find on Air BnB. In a private location, very well equipped, extremely clean, modern, comfortable and pet friendly. Tiago and his family went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. I was there during the electricity blackout of Spain and Portugal and they even though to bring me a torch! I highly recommend this property, I’ll be back!!

It was my second stay in the apartment, that is, chosen because of the good experience of the first.

Incredible location and a great apartment! Pedro made sure we had all of the amenities we would need in the apartment, and the location couldn’t have been better!

Very nice stay in house Elefante!! We were a little time but great everything, like at home. The center is not far and you can walk without a problem. Álvaro is super attentive and there was no lack of detail at home.

Beautiful detailed apartment with fully stocked kitchen and feels like a home. Thankyou for the lovely touches like water and orange juice which was much needed after a long trip.

This is an amazing Airbnb and I absolutely loved staying here - I’ve stayed at this flat a few times now and I think it’s even better each time I’m there. It’s situated in a fantastic location and easy to get to most places in Madrid from there. Cristina is a wonderful host and is always really helpful and responsive. I can totally recommend.

The apartment is very clean and beautiful. Pablo is a friendly and helpful host. We reached Chamartin station in 15 minutes on foot. It was a very pleasant stay!

We felt very comfortable during our stay. The accommodation is beautiful, as shown in the photos, with every detail very well taken care of. Everything was impeccable and prepared to make us feel at home. Communication with Gustavo has been easy, fast and very pleasant. We definitely have another visit to Valladolid pending and we will definitely repeat in this accommodation. Highly recommended!

Lovely apartment. Very clean and well presented. Spacious. Excellent soundproofing. Well appointed. Did not mention however that there were lots of steps to get up to floor two (56), a little too many for older ladies.

I spent two magnificent days with my family at Casa dos Vinhais. The host, José, is very nice, attentive and helpful and we were optimally received by him. The house is really special with the family's antique furniture and crockery with the very nice living room and the very beloved bedrooms. Here you sit and breathe the story. The view from the house to the Douro River is beautiful and we could not take advantage to bathe in the river but, in the warmer months, it would be possible to enjoy the outside well. We can ask to make dinner at home and the cod with cream and the alheira prepared by José e Graça was divine. In addition, the small Almoco is included in the stay and is really delicious! I hope to return here again to this home. Thank you for everything!

From the start she was very helpful, giving clear instructions from the station to the door. Although she wasn’t confident to use English and my Spanish is minimal, she was very quick to use an app to explain the set up. I was only there for one night, which must have been an inconvenience for her, but she was very friendly, and provided the perfect breakfast. It was particularly hot in Madrid that week, but the room had an effective aircon unit, which helped.

Quinta da Xandica, located just outside of Valença do Douro village, was a fantastic, and unique experience. It’s rare these days to find an Airbnb hosted by a “real” (boots on the ground) host who is not only there to share local knowledge and accommodates your needs, but literally who also welcomes you in to the ACTUAL family home. It reminded me of a traditional bed and breakfast, in all of the best ways. (Including a lovely breakfast in a dining room!!!) The Quinta was home to Matilde”s great grandfather, and is shared today with her grandmother and father (three generations). It’s a working farm, and an all around charming, beautiful place. Even during our unseasonably rainy visit, the grounds and area was stunning. Practically speaking, the bed was comfortable & the water hot. Dinner made by Matilde was a reasonably priced and delicious with estate wine. We also thoroughly interaction with other guests, the chipped dog, “Bill”, and access to the surrounding area. A treasure!

We really enjoyed our stay with Marta. She was always there when you needed something or had a question and was always friendly. The room and the kitchen are actually really hard to order as described, but the pictures look a little different than in reality. You can also make some cornflakes or bread for breakfast in the kitchen, but of course you can have a better brunch in the city centre of Porto. Nevertheless, we felt very comfortable and cannot criticize anything about the apartment. Three successful days for us.

Our stay at Quinta Dos Carqueijais was a perfect 10/10! We chose the Villa das Oliveiras, which offers a breathtaking panoramic view of the surroundings. It truly feels like you're immersed in the forest with beautiful views of the lake. The entire property is seamlessly integrated with nature, creating an idyllic setting for complete disconnection. The accommodation itself is stunning, perfectly equipped, and incredibly comfortable—far better than what you might expect from the photos. The breakfast is plentiful, with great attention to detail. Additionally, we had the chance to enjoy the spa facilities, which include a jacuzzi, sauna, massages, and a heated indoor pool, all at a very competitive rate. Quinta Dos Carqueijais is the perfect place to unwind for a weekend getaway or to celebrate a special occasion near the Peneda-Gerês National Park

Everything was great! Alberto is very attentive and his apartment is very functional. Just one detail I wish I had known: since I had a lot of luggage, it's on the 4th floor with no elevator.

They were extremely friendly. Nice place to stay. Mr. Antonio has welcomed us very well. You let in early and leave after time making it easier for the children to eat. Shared space being that the owners live there but respectful of guests and privacy.
