Beachfront holiday rental in Douro River

We had an amazing stay at maria‘s place. the house is really nice and has everything you need. the location is just beautiful with an amazing view to the sea. really close to some nice and calm beaches. the communication with maria was really easy and friendly. we can highly recommend to stay there.

Our stay in Joāo's apartment was wonderful. The apartment is very clean and nicely furnished and there is nothing missing. There is a supermarket just around the corner and the beach is only a stone's throw away. The town and the surrounding villages offer a lot to discover and explore. Check in and check out were very straightforward, even without personal contact. We can definitely recommend this accommodation and would love to come back!

We had a great time staying in O Grove! Great location with close access to everything you need. Pablo was great at communicating beforehand and even when we accidentally locked ourselves out was super speedy to get someone else to let us in. The apartment was great for our needs. It had everything we needed and we really loved using the rooftop that had a great 360 view! We had a good experience and definitely recommend staying here! Overall would recommend

Perfectly equipped and tastefully decorated house in the heart of the Rías Baixas. Residential and quiet area. The photographs do not do justice to the views from the balcony, which are wonderful. Rosario is an excellent host, attentive and kind, she gave us a multitude of directions and recommendations so that we lacked nothing.

Margo is an excellent host and extremely attentive to our needs. The home was immaculate, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The condo is good located,clean and cozy. We really enjoyed it! We highly recommend it to everyone.

All I can say is wow! We spent 11 days staying at Adriano’s apartment and it felt like home! I don’t think I’ve ever stayed in such a well equipped Air BnB. If you could think of it, Adriano had it. In the bathroom there was shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, hair dryer and hair straighteners. In the kitchen there was every utensil you could think of and more, I think you could cook a full Sunday roast dinner and have every pan and dish required! We are a family of four, with children aged 5 and 7. They made the most of the swimming pool during our stay and the beach. The pool is cool but refreshing. The sea was like ice but we made good games of jumping the waves and splashing one another. The beach is less than a five minute walk from the apartment and is a must during your stay, even if it’s just to watch the surfers fight the waves. It’s a very peaceful beach! Adriano is a great host and very helpful. We will be looking to stay again if we come back to the area!

The apartment was very clean, it was very comfortable and had everything you needed. It also had some very nice details.

We really enjoyed our stay at Tue’s house. It is a great size with good bedrooms and plenty of living space. Ideal for our family of 7. The house is well equipped with plenty to do - swimming pool, bikes, pool table, large garden etc. The local area is very quiet with a good beach and some nice local walks. The weather wasn’t great while we were there, which was unfortunate and meant we couldn’t make full use of the pool etc. but it was great on the sunny days. It could perhaps be improved with some soft covers for the sun beds and maybe another sun umbrella. All in all though we had a great stay.

We had such a fantastic family holiday. The kids loved it- aged 6 and 8 and so did the adults! Lovely apartment, amazing views, loved the pool and beach access. Lovely beaches and restaurants. And bus stop right outside for exploring other towns and villages. Monica was great- friendly, helpful and there if we had a question but also very discreet. Thank you!!

Peace by the water (at the end of the world) The accommodation was only found after a telephone inquiry, although there are only a few buildings in the village. This is VERY secluded, if you want to stay longer, you should shop well. There were only two cafes and one (closed) restaurant there. The nearest shop is about a 1/2 hour drive away. However, it would also be possible to arrive by train. However, it is fantastically beautiful, right on the river, and the traffic of ships, trains and cars can almost be counted. I particularly liked the surroundings with the many flowers, the access to the water and the many seating and lounging options outdoors, both in the shade and in the sun. If you want to take a boat trip, you don't have to leave, the host also does such. You can also rent boats from him, and he gave us tips for fishing. The accommodation is worth its price, is well equipped and there is also parking in the shade. Thank you all

Modern and clean appartment, great location with easy access to the beach

We felt very comfortable. The house is simple but functional. The garden and pool are great. Bernardo was always easy to reach and took care of everything.

Our flight departed almost 2 hours late, but Fernando was so kind as to welcome us in person anyway, well beyond check-in time. The house is carefully furnished, spacious and cosy, has a beautiful outdoor space and is very close to the beach! The area is quiet and peaceful. If we were to return to Porto, we would like to stay here again.

The apartment was incredible! Everything you need for a short stay after walking the Camino. The apartment was pristine, spacious, bright and beautifully decorated. The view over the waterfront through floor to ceiling windows is spectacular. When you enter the apartment and the window blind rises—wow! Vilanova de Arousa is a little quiet. Although it might have been the time of year. There aren't that many bars and restaurants so a four day stay was perfect for us. There are beautiful beaches 10 minutes away across the foot bridge. There's lovely bakery under the apartment. Highly recommend for take away bread and coffee for breakfast. Staff very friendly and helpful. Marisa was a fantastic host—very helpful and responsive. If you're looking for a restful stay after a camino this is the place to stay. I would highly recommend!

We had a wonderful time in this little corner of paradise. Small detached cottage at the back of a very nice park, quiet and without any neighbours. The beach is accessible by direct access a few dozen metres away.

Our accommodation and the neighborhood it is located in exceeded all of our expectations! The architectural design and attention to detail far surpassed the description. The neighborhood was friendly, intimate, and one block from the Atlantic Ocean - who could ask for more? I will be back! Thank you, Tomas and Alberto, for a wonderful stay in Foz!

Great location and host! The flat is new, clean and has everything you need. Kids enjoyed quick access to the beach, and restaurants in area and Aveiro are great.

The location is really fantastic, although you can't go to sleep before midnight on weekends when the weather is nice. The hustle and bustle on the promenade sometimes goes on until the early hours of the morning.

Antonio’s apartment is in a fantastic location, just up from the waterfront. It is in the heart of everything yet very peaceful and quiet at night. We loved leaning out the window to watch the street below. It’s an easy walk from the apartment to the historical centre across the bridge and there is also the option of a water taxi. The apartment had a very well equipped kitchen, was spacious and very comfortable. We would love to stay here again.
