Beachfront holiday rental in Douro River

We had an amazing stay at maria‘s place. the house is really nice and has everything you need. the location is just beautiful with an amazing view to the sea. really close to some nice and calm beaches. the communication with maria was really easy and friendly. we can highly recommend to stay there.

Our stay in Joāo's apartment was wonderful. The apartment is very clean and nicely furnished and there is nothing missing. There is a supermarket just around the corner and the beach is only a stone's throw away. The town and the surrounding villages offer a lot to discover and explore. Check in and check out were very straightforward, even without personal contact. We can definitely recommend this accommodation and would love to come back!

We had a great time staying in O Grove! Great location with close access to everything you need. Pablo was great at communicating beforehand and even when we accidentally locked ourselves out was super speedy to get someone else to let us in. The apartment was great for our needs. It had everything we needed and we really loved using the rooftop that had a great 360 view! We had a good experience and definitely recommend staying here! Overall would recommend

Casa perfectamente equipada y decorada con mucho gusto en pleno corazón de las Rías Baixas. Zona residencial y tranquila. Las fotografías no hacen justicia a las vistas desde el balcón que son una maravilla. Rosario es una excelente anfitriona, atenta y amable, nos dió multitud de indicaciones y recomendaciones para que nos faltase de nada.

Margo is an excellent host and extremely attentive to our needs. The home was immaculate, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Nos quedamos encantados con el alojamiento. Muy muy limpio (hacía tiempo que no estábamos en un airbnb tan cuidado en este aspecto), buena ubicación, instrucciones claras… repetiríamos sin duda.

All I can say is wow! We spent 11 days staying at Adriano’s apartment and it felt like home! I don’t think I’ve ever stayed in such a well equipped Air BnB. If you could think of it, Adriano had it. In the bathroom there was shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, hair dryer and hair straighteners. In the kitchen there was every utensil you could think of and more, I think you could cook a full Sunday roast dinner and have every pan and dish required! We are a family of four, with children aged 5 and 7. They made the most of the swimming pool during our stay and the beach. The pool is cool but refreshing. The sea was like ice but we made good games of jumping the waves and splashing one another. The beach is less than a five minute walk from the apartment and is a must during your stay, even if it’s just to watch the surfers fight the waves. It’s a very peaceful beach! Adriano is a great host and very helpful. We will be looking to stay again if we come back to the area!

El apartamento estaba muy limpio, era muy cómodo y tenia todo lo necesario. Además tenia unos detalles muy de agradecer.

We really enjoyed our stay at Tue’s house. It is a great size with good bedrooms and plenty of living space. Ideal for our family of 7. The house is well equipped with plenty to do - swimming pool, bikes, pool table, large garden etc. The local area is very quiet with a good beach and some nice local walks. The weather wasn’t great while we were there, which was unfortunate and meant we couldn’t make full use of the pool etc. but it was great on the sunny days. It could perhaps be improved with some soft covers for the sun beds and maybe another sun umbrella. All in all though we had a great stay.

Lugar inmejorable. La casa bien para 2 personas aunque muy justita para 4. Exterior con varias zonas. La de la terraza magnífica, la del jardin con la pequeña piscina (no más de un metro de profunda) ideal, y el mirador de piedra con banco y mesa de madera te pide que bajes con un libro entre las manos (quizá no lo leas y prefieras contemplar el paisaje de la ría. En fin, qué más decir. Con ánimo de ayudar a mejorar la estancia, haría falta alguna repisa en ducha y lavabo. No guisamos en la casa, por tanto no puedo opinar al respecto.

Ruhe am Wasser (am Ende der Welt) Die Unterkunft war erst nach telefonischer Rückfrage zu finden, obwohl es nur wenige Gebäude im Ort hat. Dieser liegt SEHR abgeschieden, wer länger bleiben will, sollte gut einkaufen. Es hatte lediglich zwei Cafes und ein (geschlossenes) Restaurant dort. Der nächste Laden ist etwa eine 1/2 Stunde Autofahrt entfernt. Eine Anreise mit dem Zug wäre jedoch ebenfalls möglich. Es liegt jedoch traumhaft schön direkt am Fluss und der Verkehr an Schiffen, Zügen und Autos lässt sich fast zählen. Besonders hat mir die Umgebung mit den vielen Blumen, der Zugang zum Wasser und die vielen Sitz- und Liegemöglichkeiten im Freien gefallen, sowohl am Schatten, als auch an der Sonne. Wer eine Bootstour machen will, braucht nicht wegzufahren, der Gastgeber macht ebenfalls solche. Ebenfalls kann man bei ihm Boote mieten, Tipps zum Fischen gab es dazu. Die Unterkunft ist ihren Preis wert, ist gut ausgestattet und Parkplätze am Schatten hat es auch. Besten Dank an alle

La estancia en CASA BOA ha sido magnífica! La casa es una maravilla con una ubicación espectacular estás encima del mar, las puestas de sol brutales y el jardín cuidado y super agradable. La casa está equipada con todo lo necesario y con una decoración cuidada y moderna. Hemos estado en Navidad y hacía frío fuera, la casa estaba calentita gracias a la calefacción y muy acogedora. Rocío puso adornos navideños, mantas, luces y hasta un árbol, estos detalles hacen que te sientas como en casa! Nos recomendó restaurantes y nos informó sobre todo lo que le solicitamos. Sin duda una casa super recomendable, incluso mejor que en las fotos y la anfitriona un diez 👍

Una estancia realmente agradable. El apartamento es tal y como se describe, muy nuevo y limpio, con una decoración que te invita a la relajación. Se encuentra en una zona tranquila, ni un ruido, y se llega a la zona de ocio, antigua, puerto en 10 minutos andando, un paseo. La piscina está genial, y te permite relajarte si no te apetece acercarte a la playa. Edy es muy amable y atenta, nos recomendó con gran acierto algunos comercios locales por los cuales le habíamos consultado. Nos dio todas las facilidades para el acceso y salida del apartamento. Totalmente recomendable. Si podemos, volveremos!

Adoramos o espaço! Apartamento incrível, com boas condições, bom espaço e uma vista excepcional. cozinha bem equipada. área da piscina limpa, com muitas espreguiçadeiras. A 5 minutos a pé de uma praia linda e calma. host muito responsiva e simpática!

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Haus ist einfach aber zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Der Garten und der Pool sind großartig. Bernardo war immer gut zu erreichen und hat sich um alles bestens gekümmert.

il nostro volo è partito con quasi 2 ore di ritardo, ma Fernando è stato così gentile da accoglierci di persona ugualmente, ben oltre l'orario di check-in; la casa è arredata con cura, spaziosa ed accogliente, ha un bellissimo spazio esterno ed è vicinissima alla spiaggia! la zona è tranquilla, e silenziosa; se dovessimo tornare a Porto, ci piacerebbe alloggiare di nuovo qui

Desde el primer momento, quedamos impresionados por las vistas al mar, que son realmente espectaculares, pero lo que marcó la diferencia fue el nivel de detalle y mimo con el que está preparado el apartamento. No se trata solo de que esté limpio, que lo está —y mucho—, sino de que se nota que cada rincón ha sido cuidado con cariño y dedicación. La sensación al entrar es de armonía, orden y confort. Todo está impecable: desde la ropa de cama perfectamente colocada hasta los utensilios de cocina organizados con criterio y gusto. No faltaba absolutamente nada. Cada espacio transmite calidez y está pensado para que te sientas como en casa (o mejor). El ambiente es acogedor, luminoso y lleno de pequeños detalles que muestran el buen gusto de la anfitriona. Y hablando de la anfitriona, Marisa ha sido excepcional. Atenta, amable, cercana. Se nota que pone el corazón en lo que hace y eso se refleja en cada aspecto de la estancia. Un alojamiento de 10. Repetiremos seguro.

Nous avons passé un merveilleux moment dans ce petit coin de paradis. Petite maisonnette indépendante au fond d’un très joli parc, au calme et sans aucun vis à vis. La plage est accessible par un accès direct à quelques dizaines de mètres.

Our accommodation and the neighborhood it is located in exceeded all of our expectations! The architectural design and attention to detail far surpassed the description. The neighborhood was friendly, intimate, and one block from the Atlantic Ocean - who could ask for more? I will be back! Thank you, Tomas and Alberto, for a wonderful stay in Foz!

Heerlijk genoten van een heel fijn appartement met een fantastisch terras en nog mooier uitzicht. Dolfijnen in de “achtertuin”. Het weer werkte ook wel mee eind april! Hartelijk dank voor deze fijne week!

Wunderschönes Apartment gleich neben dem wunderschönen Strand. Moderne Ausstattung und alles vorhanden, um sich wie zuhause zu fühlen. Wir wurden persönlich empfangen und die Kommunikation war schnell und hilfreich. Danke vielmals 😊

Die Lage ist wirklich fantastisch, wobei man am Wochenende bei schönem Wetter nicht vor 0 Uhr schlafen gehen kann. Das Treiben auf der Promenade geht manchmal bis in die frühen Morgenstunden.

Antonio’s apartment is in a fantastic location, just up from the waterfront. It is in the heart of everything yet very peaceful and quiet at night. We loved leaning out the window to watch the street below. It’s an easy walk from the apartment to the historical centre across the bridge and there is also the option of a water taxi. The apartment had a very well equipped kitchen, was spacious and very comfortable. We would love to stay here again.
