Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Donnersbergkreis

A dream - we felt right at home. The listing was 100% as described. Beautifully decorated, spacious and sparkling clean. We took some hikes right from the front door - you are immediately in the forest - fantastic location. Communication was always hassle-free and Jens responded within minutes. The highlight is also the infrared sauna and the outdoor shower. I'm sure we'll be back!

I was here with three friends over the long Easter weekend, and we felt very comfortable in the apartment. The location is extremely quiet, the apartment offers enough space for everyone and has everything you need. A perfect place to relax and unwind!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Dieter and Susanna were welcoming hosts. Their historic home has been restored in a way that maintains the historic charm (exposed timber framing) but with modern kitchen, bath and comforts). Attention to detail throughout. We spent four nights here and used it as a home base while exploring some of the sites of St. Hildegard of Bingen and the middle Rhine. Would definitely stay again.

Monica has been very friendly and always easy to reach. The house is huge and was perfectly equipped for our needs. We were on site with 3 families with small children and a dog and had a very good time. The playroom was the absolute paradise for the kids. We took 2 walks to the neighboring villages and stopped there. The possibilities here are somewhat limited. If you leave by car, there is a lot more to do. Overall, we had a fantastic weekend.

Reserved this for my parents and a couple of my aunts and uncles. They were very comfortable and enjoyed their stay. The host was very accommodating, would stay again.

Everything was wonderful, and we truly felt at home. We already miss being there and sincerely hope to have the opportunity to return in the future.

I needed an apartment for 46 days due to water damage. Lucky I found this one. I felt comfortable from the beginning and slept through the first night. That means something for me! This was our second stay at Silvia's little apartment. As before we appreciated the beautiful garden, the calmness and how well organised the place is. The kitchen despite being small has everything you'd need, including a good coffee machine. The living room has had a makeover since we were last there which is now even cosier, and the underfloor heating works really well for the cold, rainy days. Good comfy bed and nice linen (there are German style pillows). There isn't a washing machine in the apartment (for clothing) but we found one at the local supermarket, if you need one for a longer trip. I'd highly recommend this place, it's an oasis of a calm in a beautiful area. You might see their beautiful cats outside. My partner met local people from the village whilst going for walks and said they were friendly. There's also a farm with fresh eggs for sale 7 days a week down the road.

Cosy, clean, quiet environment and a very warm hostess. In the cozy little apartment with lots of wood interior, we had a nice winter weekend. An absolute recommendation for us.

The host, Mr. Peter, was extraordinary! Responsive to any question or inquiry. Always present if you need it, but also discreet at the same time. The place is simply fairytale: interior that combines modern with classic, large dining room, spacious leaving, equipped kitchen, breathtaking view, tranquility, direct exit to nature walk, shop at 5-10 minutes walk and also there you can also find a bus station. We will definitely want to come back here in case we are in Frankfurt!

We felt right at home! Patrick and Ariane were really amazing host and the view from the stay was just mind blowing! One of the best stays we’ve ever stayed so far! Another worthy mention are the miniature dolls :) we could find 10 of them!

Very nice house and great location! We felt very comfortable - especially the beautiful sauna and the home cinema (huge screen, great seats and sound system!) appealed to us. You can go hiking in the area and restaurants & supermarket are close. Markus was quick to respond if you had any questions Thanks!

We stayed with 8 people at the property and it was very nice! The house is very clean, the decor stylish and cozy, the beds are super comfortable. There was nothing missing. Karen is a very friendly host, the contact was uncomplicated and she also explained the wine culture landscape of the Mosel to us in an interesting and informative wine tasting.

This was a beautiful home. Lots of light and beautiful views of the back yard. Plenty of space and all the appliances that were needed. The host was very respectful and responsive. I will definitely be coming back in the future.

We stayed at the villa with the family over Easter and felt right at home! The beautiful large garden is perfect for big and small and in we somehow minutes we were in town on foot. A great location!

A very quiet and quiet place. A little chilly, but the fireplace and electric heaters make it up. Especially recommended if you want some peace and quiet.

Laetitia is a very nice hostess. The house was as described, very clean and everything was available. We had a great time.

This was a last minute stay for my friends and family. Vadim was instantly responsive and sent us the entry instructions immediately. This place was excellent! The neighbor even gave us a small tour of the house and described how the coffee, child amenities, and Wii worked. One outstanding overnight. Perfect sized place and really quiet. Thanks again!
