Smoking-friendly holiday rentals in Detroit River

I really can't stress enough how much I love this place! It's spacious, flooded with natural lighting, and overlooks a communal lawn where I listened to the birds and spotted some squirrels. The sofas and bed are ridiculously comfy, there were already sauces and seasonings in the fridge and cupboard, and all cleaning necessities there too! The building/apartment is quiet - you can barely hear the neighbours, and vice versa, so it feels very private. It's also within easy walking distance of parks, restaurants, bars, entertainment, etc! One thing to note is that the location is right next to the highway, so there is a constant drone of traffic. Personally, I grew to find it quite soothing, so it wasn't really a problem, but it's truly the only thing I can think of that might put anyone off booking this apartment. Oh, also! During my stay, the building had a maintenance check that Mariya made sure I was fully aware of and prepared for❤️ A wonderful host, and a wonderful flat!

One of the best stays we have ever had. Stacey was kind and made everything about the stay easy. The homemade treats were amazing as well.

Corey is an amazing person. He went above and beyond throughout my ENTIRE experience. His level of communication exceeded my expectations. Corey is a professional and a caring person. His rental description is exactly how it looks in the pictures and how it’s described. I would not rent any other place other than Corey’s place in Detroit.

Great location and very peaceful. Super comfortable mattress. Gaming equipment in game room weren’t available for use. But Fatmah was actively responsive and helpful. I will definitely book this location again.

Loved staying at this warehouse style Airbnb. Super cool space with a lot of character. It was really easy to get into and find, and the location was perfect. Right in the city and close to everything. Great vibe and very convenient. Would totally stay here again.

This was a lovely location close to the beach and convenient to downtown. The backyard and hot tub were wonderful and the kitchen was well-stocked for cooking. The bedrooms and overall vibe were cozy. I especially loved all the live plants! My friend and I had a great trip, but hadn’t realized that there were cats not just on the premises, but that they primarily stayed in the rental, which was a bit if a challenge with middle allergies, but all of the animals were very friendly! I highly recommend Julie’s place!

You got the perfect thing going with that basement I just add more things like basket and arcade machine in the basement and make more money off it.

Staying with Petey was a pleasure. The location was perfect, the home was cozy and clean, and Petey was always available to answer our questions. Highly recommended! Our stay at Petey’s place was fantastic! We will be back next year same location.

Great price and great communication

Wife, along with her newlywed sister and brother in law came to Detroit to enjoy the Grand National tour. We had a great stay. Place was clean and close to downtown. Might be too hood for some but we were comfy and felt safe. Kudos for having a smoking section. Will book again

Ulysses' spot is great for a big group and pretty comfortable. We were in Detroit for a music event and his place was affordable, not far from the music venue, and had enough space for everyone to be comfortable. The main things to know are that the neighborhood isn't too walkable (probably need a car) and can get dark at night (not many streetlights). Overall great spot and would stay again. Thanks Ulysses!

I've stayed here before for my birthday and this stay was just a chill. love a good 420 spot. It is not fancy but it is always a vibe being here. The host is so kind. She is usually easy reach which I love. My only complaint was the bed but I own a really nice mattress so my opinion is definitely bias lol I will always stay here when I can. location is quiet and 15 min from downtown attractions and nightlife.

Good, clean, well maintained house with adequate supplies and toiletries. 7 of us which includes 3 elderly people were very comfortable with our own space. Having 3 full bathrooms with 2 of them with shower stalls was helpful, especially for my elderly parents. Backyard was so serene. Walmart and costco within 5-10 min driving distance. The place worked out well for us so that we can enjoy family time- main reason for our trip! Danielle checked on us often to make sure we were comfortable and accommodated to our needs. Really appreciate that!
