Holiday rentals with a sauna in Detroit River

I visited to downtown Detroit and I heard Detroit is not safe at night so I decided to stay at Port Huron. This place is very nice, walkable to see river and it's close to lake huron. Host replied very quickly so very helpful. When I visit Detroit or Michigan again, I definitely stay again.

I had a super comfortable stay (enough and more space for a single individual)! Also, both Rajesh and Eric were extremely responsive. The kitchen and bathroom were squeaky clean. The icing on the cake was finding an Edgar Allen Poe themed cafe (The Raven Cafe, on Military/ Main Street) walking distance from the place! :-)

Very nice apartment, great location. I stayed during the winter and I was very cozy inside. I would definitely recommend anyone to stay here.

Excellent place, very comfortable and good stay

We needed three bedrooms for our stay, and Ian offered two separate units: the Zen Suite (one bedroom) located above the Cook Suite (two bedrooms). Each suite has its own separate entrance, which was OK with us. Both suites were clean and comfortable, and I particularly liked the interior design. The Zen Suite also had a hot tub on the large patio, which was a highlight of our stay. Check-in was easy. There's a nice grocery store just across the street and several restaurants within walking distance. We enjoyed our stay!

I will definitely book again.

Kristina is a very thoughtful, friendly and patient person. The house is clean and nice. When I was living there, I felt I was home. Highly recommend!

We had a great time. Big TV's for viewing. Close to everything. Lots of restaurants and bars close by. And the security was good.

Amazing views and cool downtown location! Excellent communication from the hosts and located conveniently just a few blocks down from downtown restaurants and coffee shops. Would definitely stay here again!

We stayed with our two daughters and attended a graduation at UM. The park right next door was a plus for our 10 year and the older ones enjoyed it too. It was so easy to get around Ann Arbor and Detroit. This sweet town of Plymouth is amazing, especially down town. Thanks for a great place to stay. We will definitely consider it again.

Loved our time there in January! The house is a perfect gathering spot for family- fantastic kitchen outfitted with everything. Well suited for small children (with crib, single bed in roomy master) yet elegant enough for discerning adults. The activity filled basement is great for kids, teens and adults. Well done, and Thank you!

This was one of my favorite places to go with the family, I definitely recommend this place!!! I will be back, the host was amazing and responsive, the house is lovely, there was so many great moments the family had together some comments are to picky, almost had me second guess my booking but DO IT! YOU won’t regret it! It definitely worth the money.

The Barn Own Inn was very cozy and welcoming. From the minute we walked in the door, we felt comfortable. It was exactly as described and pictured. It had everything you would need, plus more! They provided cinnamon rolls (that were awesome), a bottle of wine and even chocolates on your bed! It was very clean with plenty of towels. The bed was comfy. Dan and Kristine were very proactive in conversing with us and responded quickly. The directions made it easy to find the home. It is on a dead-end street, so very quiet. There was a lockbox for easy entry. We will certainly be back.

We've been traveling regularly to Brighton but wanted something other than a hotel, the Black Marlin was perfectly located so we could enjoy all of our activities yet still escape to this peaceful lakeside oasis. Enjoyed the water toys, relaxed with lunches at the back bar and started each day with coffee overlooking the lake and sunrise. Good times were had and memories made ... we'll be back for sure!

You will love that it has a driveway, that you can pull in and leave without backing up. The home is bright and cheery. When you walk in, you see that it is just like the listing and better. The decor is soothing to the eyes throughout the home. I felt secure the very first night being there. We enjoyed their private patio with a firepit. It is definitely an all season home to enjoy all year. For young kids it has a bright, clean & spacious basement with pool table that converts to a ping pong table, air hockey table and an electric basket ball hoop arcade game for several to play. My stay here was for 4 weeks and I did not want to leave. I have put this Airbnb in my phone as a place that I want to comeback to again! We had a great time at this home. We weren't able to use much of the outside amenities due to the weather but like other reviews the pool liner does need to be replaced and the tiki bar was a bit cobwebby and some hornets nests but considering it was outside that was not too surprising. The home was clean enough meaning the bedrooms, kitchen and bathrooms were clean where it was important but areas like the windows, window treatments among some other areas had visible dirt and dust and stains. There were also stains that were a bit questionable on Some of the furniture. I did have the impression that renovations are being made gradually so I would like to think in the future this will not be an issue. Otherwise there were no complaints and this home had everything that made our girls weekend memorable and so fun. Oh on a side note, one of the rules was to take trash out before 9 am on Mondays, well we did that, only to find out they had already picked up the trash.
