Apartment holiday rentals in Detroit River

I stayed here Saturday-Tuesday exploring Detroit and this place was absolutely perfect! The apartment was incredibly clean. truly spotless. Casey is extremely responsive and accommodating. Very kind host! The home was just over a mile from my Amtrak train, and about a mile from the free Q LINE which takes you downtown, with stops near museums/stadiums/etc., too. I believe a few city buses pass by closer to this unit, but I did not use them. There also is a MoGo bike station less than half a mile away, in front of a hospital, which you can hop on and ride around the city, and return to a different location wherever you head to. The location was perfect for my needs, since I used the Q LINE and MoGo bikes daily. I rode the bike just over 1 mile north into the beautiful Boston-Edison Historic District. Well worth your time if you like admiring some old houses/cool architecture! There's also a handful of places to grab a bite nearby, all walkable. Thanks so much for the great stay!

We had a great stay at this spot! It was walkable to our concert venue, walkable to delicious restaurants, and easy to get to! We enjoyed having a spot to relax and recharge in between sight seeing. The bed is comfy and the space had everything we needed. We had dinner at Grey Ghost and enjoyed the cafe across the street! Will definitely stay again next time we come to town for a show!

Monica is an exceptional host – she left very thorough instructions, followed up with us consistently, and had a magical space that made us feel right at home. The bathroom and bath tub were incredible! The neighborhood is unique with lots of DIY parks and urban agriculture – lots of friendly neighbors who were open and welcoming to sharing the history of the area and their dedication to maintaining it. We loved our stay here and would definitely come back again! Detroit is an awesome city, and this is a great location to experience the best it has to offer!

Very affordable very clean , balcony you can see ambassador bridge loved the home decor everything looked exactly as pictured would recommend and stay again !!!

Perfect place for our little staycation! Loved the open concept of the kitchen and living room. Had no problems and Aurum was super communicative! Love the neighbourhood as well since it’s so close to local bakeries and restaurants. Definitely would stay here again if needed. ☺️

The area looks a little sketchy when you pull in but it is a very nice quiet place to stay and very safe

Tierra saved us! She was quick to respond and approve our request, which was such a relief - we were coming from an Airbnb horror story and needed a place to stay fast. Tierra was a fantastic host: communicative, kind, and thoughtful. The unit was clean, very comfortable, and surrounded by greenery - a refreshing contrast to the booming music of Movement weekend. We felt right at home. Highly recommend staying here. You’ll love the shower!

I recently visited Windsor for a work trip and had a wonderful stay at the Bitcoin Building. Our unit was not only tastefully decorated but also equipped with all the essential items we needed. One of the highlights was the lovely balcony, which added a nice touch to our experience. The location couldn't have been better—just a short distance from Riverside, a variety of restaurants, and the casino. Additionally, Ray's communication was outstanding, making our stay even more enjoyable.

We had a lovely 4 days stay at Camp Sigmon! In the spirit of our birthdays, we didn’t want to just spend our time at an air bnb filled with IKEA furniture. Nicole’s space was gorgeous, thoughtfully designed, and special. We loved the new renovation that had vintage, mcm charm built in. Quiet street and walk-able to grab some coffee and bags at Bev’s bagels in the mornings. Conveniently located a few miles from some of our favorite restaurants (Takoi, Ladder 4). Would highly recommend this gem of a place to stay and we will definitely be back! Thank you so much!

We loved our stay and have already decided that, if we return to Detroit, we will stay here again. It was perfect for the two of us. The bed was so comfy, shower was amazing and the living/kitchen area was so cozy during our nights in.

Attended a concert and selected this spot. It was nice to be away from the busy city, beautiful mature trees. Beds were comfortable.

We will definitely stay here anytime we are in Detroit! The place is beautiful! the view from the third floor is so lovely. We had such a great time relaxing on the porch. The place was super clean and beautifully laid out. HUGE tv and comfortable bed. I think the best part was the attention to detail. So many air bnbs just feel like soulless boxes and you can tell no one has spent much time in them. Not this place! Everything you could think of has been thought through- night lights, linens, little niceties left by the host. Everything was so well thought out. The place is gorgeous! They do have a lot of notes and instructions to explain different things which some may find a little overzealous but I found charming and helpful. Mogo bike station right down the block even! Great place! Great host! We can’t wait to stay here again :)

A friend and I were in town for a concert. This apartment was walking distance from the venue and surrounded by a lot of great coffee shops and places to eat. The apartment lobby and unit looked recently renovated and well maintained. Very responsive hosts as well. Everything was as advertised and we very much enjoyed our stay!

The view was amazing! Brandon was an amazing host! this place is a MUST to book with lost of to do near downtown.

We really enjoyed our 4 days at Dana’s. Birmingham is a beautiful neighborhood, very sweet neighbors. Dana’s place was very comfortable, shower was hot, small kitchen was perfect to prepare breakfast. We would definitely feel lucky to stay here again.

This was a great Airbnb for University of Michigan graduation weekend. I loved hearing the frogs outside when I would get back from Ann Arbor at night. It was very relaxing. Only a 30 minute drive to campus on heavy traffic times.

Kendra is very nice. My family stayed here for ten days. The room was as described in the photo. It was well furnished with a beautiful garden to sit in and watch the squirrels run around. The location is close a lake and there is a Kroger in five minutes drive.Kendra was very helpful with our living needs. We enjoyed our stay, I would definitely recommend her house and would choose this house again next time.

Stayed for a night and caught a show at royal oaks theater. I couldn’t not recommend this spot more. A few bucks more than a hotel room but so worth it. Insanely close to so many things, great spots to eat and drink, a market next door, quiet neighborhood. Very comfortable and private inside, cool basement vibes.

I stayed here by myself and it was pleasant. I was with a friend who was sleeping on his boat, so it worked out well. As the description states, and the pictures show, this place is small, maybe the size of a tiny home or a large porch that was converted to living space. That being said, it was what we were looking for, simply a place to sleep for the night, and a place to cookout some food, and I was able to do that very comfortably. We enjoyed sitting/eating outside on the private deck most of the time when we were actually there. The location is within walking distance to everything and we liked not having to take the golf cart everywhere. The owners were very friendly and accomodating to parking our trailer on the property. I would definitely stay with Aunt Jane's again.

Ian and Paul were both amazing host. for the apartment, it's very nice and cozy, especially the bathroom toilet, owww I freaking loved it. The location is quite and the area is close to Ferndale local restaurants. How nice are the host? : By the day I lost my luggage and I thought I lost it when I was there. Ian and Paul were very nice people that they helped me change security door camera footage. Even tho we didnt find it, the effort they put for me meant a lot to me. A week later, a local restaurant found my contact through airline and contacted me said they had my luggage. It was my fault for not remembering it. But I just wanna say a big thank you for these amazing host. total 5 stars 🌟
