Description Bed and breakfast In a Glasshouse is located in Oostwoud, in the heart of Westfriesland. It is a cottage-style home located behind our glass studio, in the deep waterfront garden. It can be rented as a B&B but also as a vacation home for a longer period. There is, among other things, a Grand Cafe De Post around the corner where you can eat delicious food and a pizza eatery Giovanni Midwoud that also delivers. A motorboat is available for a fee. Welcome to Bed & Breakfast "De Fruitige Tuin" of Paul and Corry Hienkens. The B&B is located in Blokker: a small village in the province of Noord-Holland, located near the historic port cities of Hoorn and Enkhuizen. Behind our house (former farmhouse from 1834) is the B&B: a detached chalet (a high light space) located on the edge of the spacious garden. The Hofkamer, by the beach and dunes

Small cozy space with loft, the sleeping area (1.90 high) can be reached via a spiral staircase of 55cm wide. There is a kitchenette, cozy living room with sofa and TV. A modern bathroom with shower and toilet on the ground floor. The courtyard room is located behind the house. You have your own entrance via the alley next to the house, during your stay the shared garden is only used by the owner to get something in or out of the shed. The seat in the garden is for you!

Between the dike and the sea

Between Westfriesche omringdijk and Zee is the small rural village of Burgerbrug. At the back of the barn is a cozy apartment where you can relax wonderfully. The area is beautiful. There is no breakfast service. However, there is a fridge, combi microwave and 2-burner induction cooktop. TV in the bedroom is for streaming only. Private shower and toilet. Walking distance to the cheese market, shops, restaurants, bars and monuments but the courtyard feels peaceful and secluded. Good base to explore Amsterdam, tullip fields, old villages, dunes and the nearby beaches! The house was lovingly renovated with a new kitchen, a modern bathroom, and antique details for a luxurious yet charming feel.
