Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Delaware River

I was in town for one night for work. The room was clean and comfortable. The neighborhood was quiet and convenient for my travels. If I had a complaint, and this has happened to me before in a multiple room listing, I thought I was booking the one double/queen bedroom and when I got there I got the (2) twin beds in the room. I only needed a place to sleep for about 6 hours, so I was not about to make a stink about it, but I would have liked the bigger bed. I will look into using them again next year when I come to Palmerton for work.

Allison & Timothy are exceptional hosts. They gave precise instructions which are easy to follow. Their place is super clean and very nice. They responded to our messages usually within minutes if not immediately. The neighborhood is also very nice with friendly neighbors too. Highly recommended!

I loved this bnb. Donald was very responsive and had many recommendations on places to stop by. Loved the vibe of the home. I really enjoyed the decor. I usually don’t write reviews but I had to! Definitely will be returning!!

A beautiful home on a beautiful piece of land. A river runs through this property and you can hear it flowing all day. The house is beautiful and full of unique pieces. It feels like you’re staying at a friend’s house, not just an airbnb. We will stay here again!

Taz was extremely punctual with her communication and also understood my late arrival and very early departure. This was a great find and I will use again depending on my travel needs.

Beautiful spot near downtown Easton! It was the perfect place to call home for a week. We are from the area so we knew the local restaurants and shops. Would absolutely stay here again. Thank you Kerry for opening up your beautiful guest house to us! Very much appreciated.

What a beautiful location! We were in town to go to the college’s graduation ceremony and I booked Norma and Wayne’s windy hill lodge. I arrived at 10 PM after a 9 hour trip, but what a comfort it was when I got inside (easy)! It was warm and inviting, lots of snacks and refrigerated items and a “lifesaving” chicken nuggets in the freezer — I was starving and hadn’t eaten since noon! The decor matches my love of horses (I have two rescued thoroughbreds!) the bedrooms were spacious, clean, and the beds were comfortable (my brother stayed the second night and he said he had a great sleep!) We both got a tour of the barn, admired the fields, and we loved talking to Wayne about how it all “worked”! We wished we had more time to just hang out there, but we had all the family activities one enjoys in Easton during graduation weekends! Thank you for everything!!!

First of all, Monica is a wonderful, open, and caring host. Her place felt like a community and I do felt like at home with her place. I stayed in her place before the wedding and she helped me without asking with dewrinkling my suit. I found new friends and also left the place with content and good heart. If I can only give her 10 stars, I would. Her neighborhood is very peaceful and safe so don’t worry about her home. Again, thank you so much for your hospitality and warmth Monica. I was looking for a place for a quick getaway - a rest and reset for myself. And, Kim’s place did just that. The location is beautiful - so peaceful. The apartment is private and lived up to everything written in the description. I had the pleasure of bumping into Kim and she was so friendly - just as friendly as she had been in our earlier messaging. She checked in on me during my stay and even made a recommendation for a nearby trail to explore. I look forward to staying at Kim’s again!

Great place for a great price! Loved all the different porches and docks and all the outdoor space and the beautiful view of the lake! Very easy to work from the bnb as well! Janice was kind and very responsive, will definitely be back!

This place was cozy, clean, and felt just like home. It’s in a great location—within walking distance of plenty of delicious local restaurants and fun activities. We loved how easy it was to explore the area without needing to drive. If you’re looking for a comfortable stay that’s close to food, attractions, and also a short drive to hiking and other things to do in the Poconos, this is a perfect choice!

Michael & Sarah’s place is fantastic! Right on the lake with every amenity you could want (French press, dishwasher, home theatre, BBQ, and fire pit to name a few) The place was comfortable and clean, in an extremely tranquil location, perfect for coffee or wine looking out over the lake from the porch or dock. This home had all of the little touches that make for an extremely comfortable stay (like wood and fire starters at the fire pit). Michael and Sarah are very warm, friendly and welcoming - we would recommend this place to anyone we know visiting the area!

We had everything necessary for a comfortable stay. The place was a bit nicer than anticipated from the photos. Its a lovely neighborhood wih plenty of parking on a wide street. Seems safe. Close to the main streets with shops and restaurants. Mark was immediate with his responses to our questions and accomodating. We would stay here again!

Great location. Nice neighborhood. Unit offers everything you need. Upgraded very cool bathroom. Large bed. Easy walking to downtown area. Nice balcony to sit outside. Included a parking spot. We liked the unit and would stay again.

Ryan’s home was beautiful and extremely clean. I was finding an airbnb very last minute and he was able to help me. Very sweet and professional guy always there when needed and replied to messages really quickly. thank you again for your help. Definitely 100% would book in the future.

Chelsea’s place was nice and cozy! I especially loved the real plants, faux fur heavy bedding, an assortment of different pillows, and the giant love sac bean bag. Chelsea was very nice and responsive and offered a free late checkout to wait out an ice storm. Host made sure walkways were cleared and ice melt was put down before checkout, which shows how much they care about their guests and their property. Parking was very easy and in front of the unit, which made it very helpful to carry in our belongings. I felt very safe and secure at this location. Thanks for a great stay Chelsea!

Nikhil was an outstanding host: Top-tier responsiveness; Great communication; Flexible; Proactive; Clearly very thoughtful in in so many of the choices taken in preparing a place for guests to feel comfortable and cared for like wireless chargers, diverse lighting, extra towels and toiletries. Really enjoyed the unique setup and will want to stay there again. Even parking was incredible: Free only 20 feet from the rear entryway. Free parking in any city is a real bonus! Thanks Nikhil for accommodating a great last-minute stay at your cool place!

This is my second time staying in this apartment and it was just as great as I remembered. Really nice well stocked kitchen as far as cooking materials go and appliances. Also, very comfortable bed, and it’s a nice quiet place with secure parking. Highly recommend and will probably stay there again.
