Barn accommodation in Delaware River

It was a great place to stay. Cute, cozy living space. Lots of good hiking trails nearby.

We had another amazing stay at Sara’s place and already know we’ll be making this an annual tradition. The space is warm, spotless, and incredibly comfortable — it’s the kind of place that instantly puts you at ease. We loved starting our mornings with coffee, homemade treats, and those gorgeous dining room views. The swing set is such a fun touch, and the ever-expanding family of goats continue to be a favorite part of our stay. Everything about this visit was just as special as we remembered. Already looking forward to next year!

The cottage is beautiful, tranquil, and very comfortable - a one of a kind place. The history of the cottage is very interesting and was part of our wonderful stay there. We, along with our guests with four legs, relished walking the serene property. David was a great host - very helpful, responsive, and nice to work with. We look forward to returning.

Abigail is an incredible host. She is super accommodating and communicative. She is the sweetest and her home is incredible. This place is definitely worth it. Beautiful space and a wonderful experience.

My fiancé and I stayed at Lambs hill to celebrate our anniversary. We had the most wonderful time. The views are breathtaking. The wrap around deck with jacuzzi and hammock made our stay calming and serene. I loved seeing the horses and donkeys throughout the day. They made the experience even more special and unique. Charlotte was super responsive and accommodating. We took cabs to Main Street at night for dinner and drinks and it was so close and convenient. I left my heart in lambs hill and can’t wait to return one day.

This was our second stay with Joe and Amy hosting us and it was lovely yet again! They are extremely friendly and responsive. The place is serene and gorgeous. We absolutely adore the chickens and thoroughly enjoyed the fishing spot they told us about. It’s a beautiful place to unwind and relax away from city life. We plan to return again!

We had a wonderful family stay here! The space was clean, spacious, and included thoughtful touches for kids. While there’s no full kitchen, the host thoughtfully provided a mini electric stove and all the essentials we needed. Communication was smooth and friendly, we truly felt right at home!

Dara is a wonderful host and has an equally fabulous space. The Garden Cottage is nestled in a quiet spot among an enjoyable setting of gardens and sitting areas. The Cottage itself has a number of lovely touches and details. The property is clearly a "labor of love" and is memorable. Their cat is also a kind host! Thank you.

Great experience! 2 wineries within 1 mile. Close to great hiking. William, was very accommodating with check in & check out time. Would highly recommend staying here. Very cute , clean and comfortable with get amenities.

We loved staying at Amy's. The surroundings were beautiful and the place was very well equipped and comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed and Amy generously stocked fresh olive oil, butter, fresh eggs, milk, spices, snacks and beverages. Easy in and out. Amy is very helpful and responsive. The linens are terrific. Quaint Frenchtown is minutes away. We had great espresso at Early Bird Cafe and a nice Iitalian dinner at Piazzi--very consistently good. We ate there twice. If you happen to need a haircut--we got wonderful cuts from Danny at Burotu. He's the best!

Our stay was great! My dog and I very much enjoyed the house, and the surrounding area. Mat was easy to communicate with, and very helpful. The wifi was great, and I had no issues working from there. The water pressure in the shower could have been better, but nothing's perfect, right? Overall, a great house, great host, and a very enjoyable stay that I would love to repeat in the future, and that I would certainly recommend to others.

If I had to describe Amy‘s place in one word, it would be perfect. The cottage is quaint and very private. We enjoyed waking up and drinking coffee on the deck while watching the geese, chickens, and sheep. We even saw some baby sheep. Absolutely magical! We had everything we needed in the kitchen and the bed was comfy. If we come back to the area, we will definitely stay there again.

A clean and minimalist place with a great view! I’d highly recommend for anyone looking to explore the Hudson valley. The location is within driving distance from several awesome towns and outdoor activities.

My friend and I came here over the weekend and it was the perfect escape from our city lives. the place was clean, easy to find, peaceful, safe, and everything else you could want from an airbnb. Barb was an amazing host who gave clear instructions and was super friendly and nice - she gave us a lovely tour of the farm and introduced us to her goats! We have 0 complaints. Thank you Barb for the best weekend!!! We hope to come back one day <333

We rented 3 of the buildings (The Barn, The House, and The Loft) at Legacy Manor for bridesmaids and close friends for our daughter's wedding weekend. Each rental space was ABSOLUTELY PERFECT and having them together on the same property enabled the full group to gather in the "comfort of home." Every aspect of the spaces was top-notch, thoughtfully created, and well crafted. The bedrooms and bathrooms were luxurious. The kitchens and common areas in the Barn and House are huge. The fireplace in the barn is beyond huge, and a great place to gather. There is a wonderful outdoor fire pit too. The support from Ahna and Gideon was OUTSTANDING. We could not be happier and we highly recommend this property, especially for reunions and large gatherings. (I'll post this same review for each of the rental spaces that we used).

My girlfriend and I had a great stay here. The place was cozy, well-equipped, and perfect for a relaxing getaway. The outdoor area was the true highlight — from the spacious patio to the beautifully maintained landscaping, the property felt peaceful and private. There’s also a pool that looked amazing, even though we couldn’t enjoy it due to the weather. We had some trouble during check-in after a delayed flight and arrived around midnight, but the property owners were just a phone call away and quickly helped us get settled, which we really appreciated. Overall, it was a great experience and we’d absolutely recommend this spot to anyone looking for a quiet, scenic place to unwind.

Staying at Will and Aenne's barn house was fun and wholesome. I enjoyed saying hello to the animals and the jungle shower most of all. The barn has everything one needs. Though, I must say I was very intimidated by having to light the chef's stove. We walked from the barn to the waterfall down town which was beautiful--great place to hang out and swim in the warmer months. The village of Kinderhook is adorable with quaint little shops. Hudson city had some of the best food I've had in a long time; I strongly recommend eating at Cafe Mutton. Overall, Will and Aenne were very hands-off hosts--as in, they gave us our space and privacy--while still being responsive and attentive. Thank you for the stay! I hope to come back again!

We truly enjoyed our stay at Wilderkill Barn. Maria Cristina and William were exceptional hosts—warm, attentive, and genuinely committed to making our visit special. They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The home was a haven, with a hot tub, sauna, pool, fire pit, pool table, and immersive sound and movie systems—all of which made our stay delightful despite the cold, dreary May weather. We can't thank them enough. ***That said, we feel it's necessary to address a serious issue with Airbnb itself that arose while booking this property, unrelated to the property itself. An unexpected tax was added after booking, and Airbnb has yet to provide a clear explanation. After years of loyalty, we were disappointed by their evasive and unhelpful customer support. This experience has made us reconsider using the platform in the future. We urge potential users to scrutinize all fees carefully and be aware that Airbnb’s support may be difficult to navigate if problems arise.***

This was not just a stay, it was an experience! Imagine being transported to a Victorian and early 20th century mansion equipped with 21st century amenities and yet the modern amenities are subtle, allowing you to soak in the classical experience. Every corner of the home is tastefully decorated with antiques that transport you to the gilded age. The home is very cozy and comfortable, squeaky clean and well stocked with all needs. The turn tables and classical records lend charm to this gem, not to the mention the boatload of board games. The privacy was remarkable with lovely woods around and plenty of parking too. The host was very responsive and we had a fantastic stay. We will definitely come back here. This home is one of those do-not-miss-it hidden jewel!

The barn was exactly what I needed for a few days away to reset. It is a beautiful home with all the amenities you could need. Julie is very intentional with the guest experience; the little touches made the stay even more wonderful. The location is perfect for access to everything Great Barrington offers, but you’re a little tucked away on a quiet, peaceful road. I loved the Old Red Barn and would recommend it to anyone passing through the area.
